A few tricks to work faster in vanilla Blender.
Also something I failed to mention. After adding shortcuts or quick favorites. Save your preferences. If you modify the UI you might want to try saving it as your default startup file.

I'm so glad I found your channel yesterday. I got into Blender a week ago. I've been working with photo and video software for 25 years, but I've never ventured into 3D before. I'm going to watch every single one of your videos, starting from the beginning, and practice along the way. Do you have any tips for other channels or paid options for learning Blender? How did you start? Thanks in advance, and keep up the beautiful work.

I have been slowly and gradually learning for years. My first point of call is always the manual, which you can usually get to by right clicking on the UI element you want to learn more about. After that I search youtube and blender stackexchange. One thing to know is that even decade old blender tutorials usually can still teach you the lesson, at the cost of watching a much older UI layout

That ctrl shift 1 merge tip is epic. 💪

I agree! I changed mine to Shift 2 as I personally found that the hand position felt more natural (clicking 2 with my middle finger whilst my pinky finger holds shift)

I can eat my soup with a fork, but the spoon is the proper tool for that task. That being said, could you make a video with these steps: -Modeling in Blender (something simple) -Texturing in SP (with some stickers also) -Rendering in Cycles Thank you!!
