@@sergentkozac7476 on peut pas comparer un commando et un régiment. Il y a plusieurs commandos au 2REP. Hubert est commandé par un capitaine tandis que le 2REP l’est par un colonel.
Chris White.. fucking hell, if it's you, we've done TP stage together 😅 remember how u were pissing the small Nepali , we were all laughing. hope you're well
What a shocking landing. That is not how I was taught to land when I was in the REP. This is just a tourist jump. With full equipment the ground comes at you a lot harder. This guy would have broke his back.
@@alessandrosalerno7188 The Legion today is a very different Army to when I joined in 1989. It was not just physically tough but mentally traumatic due to the language barrier. In training we ran and did PT every day except Sundays. Push ups were the normal form of punishment. The hardest bit is the long marches with full kit. The longest test in the Royal Marines is a brutal fast paced 30 miler. In the Legion, even though the pace is much slower than the Marines test on Dartmoor, 30 miles is just a warm up. 2 or 3 day marches were not uncommon. In reality, military life does not suit everyone. Some people love it, some people hate it. If you want to give it a try, it is a short flight to Paris. Head to Fort du Nugent or go to Marseille. You will need to be able to run, and do at least 10 dead hang pull ups otherwise you won't get past the front gate..... PS After I left the Legion, I cycled across Canada. 4,000 miles (6,400km) in 20 days... That is how fit you need to be... Good luck and, if you do decide to join, I hope you enjoy the journey.
I am only guessing but could he be on an exchange? The French and Americans have similar Camo patterns and his YAHOO and English questions are making me think he is a Yank. Just a guess.
@@MrFrenchteacher1 j'étais à Arta en 1991 aux commandos, très heureux de croiser parfois la 3e compagnie avec l'Adc Legris courant en remontant de PK20, le soir on se retrouvait chez Habiba j'avais 20 ans...
