Your video production quality and the fact that you include unboxing through to gameplay in your reviews makes you ABSOLUTELY the top tier youtuber in this space right now.
Gel blasters- they're actually much less accurate then Airsoft and even high-power nerf, so a nerf blaster makes for an excellent sniper-rifle equivilant for a gel blaster field!
Another fascinating review. I'm always surprised to see how few players realise that they are a fair bit wider than they think they are, making it so easy for you to snipe a bit they think is under cover.
I just love watching you school airsoft users. The Swift looks awesome and I think it has made my Elite Caliburn obsolete. If you get the time what would be the FPS numbers with the longest barrel and the weakest spring. I'm hoping that might get it into the usable HvZ range.
Honestly doubt the darts would leave the 550mm barrel at all with the 1.2 spring. I'd personally rely on the rifling to drop your fps a little on the stock config or maybe even the medium barrel.
Thank you for all the amazing camera scope footage, it really emphasizes the accuracy of this blaster. Even through tiny little gaps in the scenery, your darts are still finding their marks with excellent precision.
Hey Bradley, great video as always. I haven't had to modify the breach, and have not experienced any problems with AF Darts, being that they are by far the skinniest darts on the market by a country mile, Worker Gen2 on that really fat foam does give that issue, but its because the weakest 1.2 spring is so weak that when it does happen, I can hear it fire, the air compresses and then the plunger bounces backwards from the pressure and lowers the final amount of of air delivered as a result. And it's more noticeable the better you make the air seal. Using a Monkee Mods 40cm barrel on the 1.4 spring yields much better results than what your getting which tells me the stock barrel is to short for that spring load. Taking that into account, I would say that the 550mm barrel is also to short and if it was longer, it would perform way better. This is a magnificent offering for new people to enter the hobby with as it will suit a range of play stules and games, other than being just a SNIPER platform. I see this a way better value for money than a Caliburn, as the shell constuction is excellent compared to any other comparably priced blaster. It is very solid, and weighty. It does not have the creaks and groans the Nexus Pro and DartZone Pro Shells have when priming. The performance I am getting is going toe to toe with your Sabre on its light spring, but with better range on that 40cm barrel and the 1.4 spring than your Sabre M20 on it largest spring and barrel combo at a 3rd of the price. So extremely happy. You should have kept tinkering with it, its a much better platform than you have given it credit for.
hey Brad great review!! I bought the Orange one (looks awesome with an orange Katana mag, if only they were compatible...) from Monkeemods cheers for the discount. Loved the ease and performance of this thing after years of building longshots. I hope they send you a ZWQ S100 WAR SAINT to review I'm really interested in one of those too but want someone like yourself to give it an honest thumbs up. Keep up the great work I love seeing the new gen nerf youtubers keeping the hobby updated!!
Thanks worker. You gone and made my 8 prophecies obsolete. 😜 seriously though, aesthetics aside, this is boss. Great consistency with the big spring. I was going to get a caliburn, looks like I’ll never have to now
My prophecy failed where the priming bars connect to the bolt sled. Screws stripped themselves and now I can't connect them without replacing the sled. This is after buying replacement screws after the first set broke. I might just dumpster it.
@@DraconisMarchVIIdamn! That blows. Don’t give up on it. You know you had some good times before the bad. I highly recommend the metal sled, it makes changing the sled screws easy as they just float in the holes and aren’t a tight fit as with the plastic sled. Blastertech in Australia has the parts online (sled and screws). Dean is a legend and is only too happy to help
Great review as always. I wonder if that easy prime is also contributing to the lack of punch that the spring seems to have. A long spring with a long tube just not developing enough back pressure quick enough, to really accelerate the dart and maintain the acceleration. I like the idea of the blaster but the inconsistency in fps and lack of responsiveness of the spring & plunger combination means I will hold off until people play with different combinations of springs and barrels to sort this.
I would love to see you try out and review the spiritual successor to this blaster; The Worker Harrier. Curious your thoughts/viewpoints on the Harrier in contrast to the Swift.
Question I’m thinking of painting the white part purple and was wondering if it would get rubbed off my the pump grip? Also what would be a decent paint
Huh this is the first time I've ever heard of AF Pros being too big lol, for me my problem is some being too thin, and falling out of 13mm barrels. Also even with the red o-rings I'm still pretty disappointed in the consistency with the medium spring, and barrel, wonder if there's a way to fix that
What can one expect if they use the strongest spring(1.6), but keep the medium or 350mm barrel? Can they still expect an increase in fps from the medium spring?
I think it would be a little inconsistent in velocity if you tried to get it that low. Would be better off with a retaliator style blaster like Nexus Pro.
Brad, are you sure the AF Pro darts are sometimes to big? Because I fire mine through 17/32 brass, and the problem I've noticed is they are sometimes too small. (Roughly 1 in 10). The same darts that will sometimes squib will also slide out of my brass barrel. I've largely fixed this problem by sorting them using a spare piece of brass. I'm going to return the bad ones once I get a full packs worth.
Strange you say that the red o rings work best while IME that green o rings work and according to walcom the green ones are better. Maybe different batch inconsistencies?
Hello nerf community I never really got in to the hobby grade level stuff but I want something that shoots hard like really hard and right now I have narrowed to two options the 300fps Caliburn and the Worker Swift. I am pretty long so looking for something sniper like that honestly just slaps. Pros of the Caliburn being I can shoot my full length ridiculously far and maybe pick up an aeon pro to get an adapter and another good secondary option for an introduction to half-length? Also I like building so probably will do the DIY kit which could be fun depending on what happens. OR I could go with the swift that looks cool and seems to have an easier prime and less to overall worry about but makes me shoot an ammo type not carried by the regular blasters. What do you guys think I should do?
Just thought I’d let you know blastertech said it will now come with bothe lower springs and barrels it won’t come with the strongest spring and barrel though
Hey Bradley, I just wanted to ask you if this is a trusted affiliate link because the Swift that they're offering on their site is a lot cheaper than most other places. Thanks!
I think there is a sling mount you can attach there. I agree that it should be a full length rail though but wasn't an issue for me mounting my Runcam on top of the scope.
Just tried the Sabre barrel, it fits into the blaster and all but the pusher doesn't fit into it. The flared barrel end of the Worker barrel is a requirement. Though a Kury barrel may work.
@@BradleyPhillipsYT eh, I got spare barrels. When I finally get ahold of one I'll see about flaring it for shits and giggles. Thanks for testing it tho!
