@@Collin2377 they are very smart and headstrong; they need daily challenges both physical and mental until they are 5-6 years old, then they are more chill but still young at heart.
I lost my viszla last year, I miss her so much. But I am very grateful that she almost reached the age of 16. Take good care of yours. Such lovely dogs!
Our Vizsla girl is doing the same, basically it doesn't matter if there is food or not - just "you're here, so why no attention for me" and starts poking my arm with her nose, while typing documentation or having a video call. Gorgeous dogs!
It is actually so gentle! Lot of dogs would be a lot more annoying. I never met viszla for longer time, but I read that they are one of the easiest dogs to own, loving, calm and gentle.
"Calm" HAHAHAHAHA Vizslas are insane. They require a LOT of exercise and while they aren't hard to train, they do NEED to be trained. They enjoy the mental stimulation. That said, you treat them right and yes, they're absolutely stellar dogs, very loving, full of personality. Older ones do calm down a bit.
Sono dolcissimi!! Ma non per tutti...hanno bisogno di molto movimento...non amano stare da soli per molto tempo sono cani molto impegnativi in tutti i sensi. Io ne ho una di 9 anni che amo alla follia!!!
One of the little quirks about the breed I came to recognize is that they always seem to KNOW when someone is Hungarian. Dogs that were reluctant to greet strangers or otherwise exuberant in their greeting of anyone else would randomly approach a person and just lean against them. Every time I had it happen that person would speak softly to the dog in Hungarian before smiling at me and initiating conversation about the breed. It was almost eerie the number of times I had it happen.
Had a Vizsla when I was young. They are amazing dog breed and blows my mind that they are not more popular. So sweet and great dogs to go hiking with tons of energy but will be happy to be lazy on the couch with you too.
Vizslas by far are one of the best family dogs around. We are on our fifth one and everyone is so much alike. Unfortunately the first four have all died of cancer. But hopefully we will never be without a Vizsla Love them
reminds me of my dog late vizsla gunny he whined just like that and everything or would just sit there and drool lol makes me miss him just watching this
You are supposed to work from home. What you are doing instead is wellness! Also, here we have proof that a dogs nose fits better in a human hand than a computer mouse.
