The other kind, which is what they're wearing in this scene, is medical compression, which increases circulation. Old people wear them as socks because as your heart fails, blood pools at your feet because gravity (this medical condition is called edema.) But this is probably surgical dressing, which is applied to someone with ortho surgeries, increasing blood flow increases healing, which decreases the time it takes to recover. They're wearing super-super-super small ones though, probably even child-sized.

I was too, but so far, it's not that bad. Yeah, it might have some hiccups here and there, and some people here might not like the season because the cast members they like all left, but at least they're trying not to suck, which is what they've been doing since 1975.

I also feel like it’s always been like this when there has been a few key cast members leaving.. takes time to get used to. And yea, there’s always the irreplaceable greats, but I don’t feel like anyone is trying to replace those who have gone before.
