Workshop for New Leaders in Nuclear Fields in Latin America and the Caribbean, Buenos Aires, Argentina, March 2023.
It was organized by the IAEA, within the framework of the ARCAL Agreement, and the Government of the Republic of Argentina, through the National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA), with support from the DOE/NNSA, and in collaboration with Women in Nuclear Global (WiN Global), its regional chapter WiN ARCAL, its national chapter WiN Argentina, and Asuntos del Sur. Over 40 women from Argentina, Brazil, Belize, Bolivia, Chile, Cuba, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela actively participated in the activity.
Through conferences, technical visits and group dynamics that promoted spaces of co-creation, active listening and creative tools, the main goal of the workshop was not only to develop and strengthen the leadership capabilities and skills of the participants, but also to enrich their knowledge on the nuclear sector from a comprehensive, inclusive and regional perspective.
