I’ve never had that happen on one of my videos before where one person targeted people’s kind comments just to prove a weird point and be disrespectful. I've performed theatre professionally bud but thanks for the input. I said casual because my full belt or "huge powerful vocals" are not something I prefer doing in my apartment building. I don't think it's fair for my neighbors. You can tell when I sing "now" that its heavily pulled back from what I can actually do. Just having fun on youtube. But thanks for stopping by to tell me my vocals aren't powerful enough to belt hahaha
You didn't belt some parts but it's totally OK! I understand how polite you're being towards your neighbors. Everything was still perfect! Plus, I already know you can belt those notes when you're not at your apartment! As you said, it was casual.

I think some people don't realize that you might blast everyone's ears if you sing to your fullest! When you're in a little box aka apts even little footsteps sound like you're stomping around lol. But I love this version, beautiful and talented 👌
ok so this is a really funny story. I had seen this video like before I had gotten tickets for Mean Girls. I was thinking to my self, "SHE IS SO GOOD WHY IS SHE NOT REGINA?!" Then I watched star kids and I was like there she is again!!! SO GOOD! Then when my mom surprised me with tickets to Mean Girls I was really excited but I had no idea she was part of the cast. I opened up the playbill and I legit sat there for 20 minutes thinking, "how do I know her??? What has she been in???" And then I recognized her through the whole play but I was completely blanking. Then World Burn started and I screamed. Like screamed. It was so embarrassing but I figured it out haha. She was amazing, major props to belting the whole song.

I think this is a great example that if you're afraid of uploading that cover, or posting your writing on that subreddit, or nervous about sharing your art because it won't get views or recognition, just know that literally one single view can end up changing your life for the better. One person who works for (or has connections to, I can't remember which) Broadway saw this extremely casual half-cover of the song and now she's officially playing Regina on tour. Like, yeah, the internet is an oddly wonderful place that can make dreams come true.
Okay so my “aunt” just invited me to see the mean girls tour and I remembered that Mariah was Regina at some point but then I googled it and realized I would actually get to see her! I’m so freakin ecstatic! Ahhhhh!!
