Huge shout out to all of the teams competing at worlds. We have tier lists from multiple members of almost every single team! Thank you and thanks to Zoinks
This just shows how different competitive is from ladder games, super cool idea and cool seeing how different some opinions are from the different teams
@@spragelsYour explanation of Dragapult made perfect sense to me. I’ve been doing well with Dragapult, personally, but I don’t plan on going pro. Maybe I can go pro if the devs ever buff Dragapult 😅
I saw goodra in E tier and my soul got crushed. Honestly, I want them to allow dragon pulse and muddy water to activate on farm to, like every other pokemon can. That alone would bring up the viability
Goodra is my FAVORITE and they did himb so dirty. It does feel like every other mon that gets health back from an attack can use it on farm and the Regis and then my sweet Goodra got shafted
@@herbdandilion3434 I have a 52% winrate with him in ranked across 100 games and mostly in masters 12-1600 range, hes pretty good but the problem is, if you don't win lane hes reallllllly bad. Cannot play from behind at all.
@@josephmangano3261 I totally agree. I run energy amp, resonant guard and a focus sash. I also run a blue/purple/white emblem build. I find a TON of value in being able to do more damage after using my unite. And staying alive in the early game with the emblems is 🔥. I currently have a 58% win rate with him, but sometimes I wish it was more just to prove that my sweet little Goomy is A tier
Leafeon is so disgustingly broken, you can duel all rounders and easily come out on top just have to know their cooldowns and avoid them with aerial ace repositioning I feel a lot of Leafeons don’t weave in autos between each spell cast. Way too many times I’ve faced an all rounder being while being 30% hp and just outplayed the hell out of em with full heal
@@samifranco5541 exactly being so fast in the back line throws off enemy positioning so much as they scramble to defend their carries or just leave em to die and even if you don’t get a kill you push em out of the fight
Eject button is way better just to run through the wall or getting an important ko when your opponent didnt expect it otherwise X attack just to give more pressure, full heal is only good if you're against wiggly or a very defensive team comp with i dont know 3 defenders for some reason... In coordinated team fights being an S tier is resonable but in a tier list for soloq/ranked games is A or even B, absol does carry way more than him, his unite is very powerful and can Ko teams easly or even secure objectives. Also a good dodrio and a good talonflame in soloq are menace to deal, extremly hard to catch and their last hit are way better (the nerf on solar blade as a secure got worse).
@@raizen4597 see that’s the thing solarblade isn’t what I’m talking about razorleaf is plain stronger it’s not even a debate. Full heal is good into so many things, allows you to avoid Garde unite/moonblast, the stun from mimikyu shadow sneak, blizzard, volt tackle, tsareena unite, Ceruledge unite does no damage when full healed ( people forget you can use full heal before you get stunned and it just negates and fizzles certain unites) your boosted auto and two dashes on super short cooldown makes up for lack of eject imo at least in my experience I’ve got maybe 1300 games on leafeon with a 60% wr. I think those items are good but just been in too many situations where full heal is better cus not just defenders and supports have stuns and avoiding stuns gets me kills more than needing to catch up to someone. Hell just yesterday had a sableye invade and die because I just negated his cc entirely
@@adrielblake732 solar blade isnt bad but not great either, leaf blade is straight bad. Aerial ace is so good, razor leaf is decent. Using full heal on leafeon it gives you a better match up against annoying thread like mamoswine or ninetails or pikachu at the start if youre lane. As central area attackers in general shouldnt be problematic as much engage defenders or supporters and even all rounder. Leafeon shouldnt engage pokemon like wiggly or mamoswine or mister mime with screen confusion or charizard (if he already has unite) usually and many others. Eject ensure you to ko a range pokemon like inteleon or delphox or even chandelure on top of giving the possibility to save yourself by eject throug the wall. Eject what offer you is doing your role but better. Full heal gives you the possibility to have a better 1v1 scenario that is really good for something like an absol that is kinda popular and other good things in some scenario. The thing is whatever items you using, in randoms pick is so bad because all rounders are so popular and all rounder could be stopped better from attackers but attackers are relatevly a weak class atm. Speedster is good against attacker and attacker arent very popular atm beside delphox, chandelure and sylveon (at least from my games and sylveon isnt even a great match up for leafeon). Leafeon doesnt have CC and struggle end game at ray fight, cant carry the team consistently unless you steal ray. I having a 62% wr with greninja rather than 56ish% with leafeon in this season, and i have the most played games with greninja this season. Greninja is nice in this format for some reason... or i am goof with it? Who knows... I still think speedster arent great in this format except for absol, absol is doing strong in ranked can ko basically anything with it as long he is critical hit really, has good secure with his unite, his unite can ko teams sometimes, dodrio and talonflame all of them have a great secure on top of being annoying (expecting they are good player obviously). Leafeon is an assasin and try to gets ko 1 by 1 but you cant do this unless you have opportunities where the opponent team shouldnt push a t2 area goal zone that they shouldnt push for. Leafeon is really strong but this format with most of these defenders are good against him like slowbro, umbreon, trevenant. Against all rounder like metagross, ceruledge, mimikyu, charizard (you cant beat charizard and charizard is the pokemon where the meta should be focus on, i still believe ceruledge is the best pokemon but if you arent prepare against charizard you cant do anything, full heal i dont think can stop his unite anyway). I think shouldnt be attacker and speedster in S tier in this format. I had a 57%wr as soloq with leafeon with over 500 games and i played 95% of the time with razor leaf, i know is strong but carring games with him having a bad team is tough unlike others. Leafeon is a better pokemon in coordinated games, not as soloq player because your team can gives opportunity to engage and finish off enemies. In general you cant engage a full health defender by yourself while they are 2 or more players there even if you have full heal.
its definitely way better than personal tier lists for sure, it gives a lot more perspective on what Pokémon is actually good and you can use this info for playing with friends or solo q
Any suggestions for the counter picks of Mimikyu? There’re many videos and tutorials on how to play a Pokémon, while only a few that focus on how to counterplay or counter-pick it. Contents like this would be really helpful!
When its shadow sneaks you I'm not sure exactly where it pops up but if you find out on training mode you can find out and then when they Shadow sneak you wait and read in a text so you hit them as soon as they pop up
This man's spittin BARS, Mamoswine feels AWESOME rn, I'm zo glad he's finally getting jis time in the spotlight and woth the amount of CC and stuns he's SET
As a season 1 player: Cinderace and Greninja in E-tier, Crustle and Garchomp in B-tier, Trevenant in A-tier, Charizard of all pokemon S-tier, what happened?!
Haha well there is just so much burst and healing now that AA's like Cinderacr and Greninja just get demolished by coordinated teams. Still good enough to play in solo queue. (I'm an AA main. I'm even the "troll" that plays razor leaf decidueye)
Very Mage focused CC heavy meta. Glaceon, Intelleon, Venu, and Delphox(hell even Pika) basically shut them down if played correctly. Ceru, Zard, and Speedsters tank their hits and dive on them. Not enough damage to hurt tanks.
13:18 when I started playing unite I looked through all the mons, and I believe gardevoir was just coming out, and I’ve loved that mon since I opened it up in the tcg a loooong time ago. So I was excited to see it, and sprangles had a guide for it. So I studied that video and main gardevoir since!
Falinks being in D tier will tear apart my partner! He loves that goofy chipi-chapa fella so much, he immediately bought it as soon as he got the money (basically day 3), he made it his main, and he wants to buy it a skin (the current one was not well received 😅). At least eldegoss is A tier, it's the second one he likes (for mean reasons 😭) Meanwhile I rejoice as a Cramorant main, and I can continue my bird legacy by buying Blaziken (and soon Psyduck)
I think the problem with the speedster is that a lot of all rounders kill as fast as they do, but tank a lot more. So there is no point on playing speedsters a lot of times
In comp play you get a lot more consideration of opportunity costs. In soloq lists you’re asking “how good is x?” Vs. In competitive you’re asking “why would I pick x over y?”
Mamo isn't surprising to me that it's this high. it's the same archetype as inteleon or mime where some players are just so good with it also i'm so glad that my baby espeon is so high :) sprags has been ranking her lower recently
The tierlist beside espeon not be in B tier and the inteleon and venusaur in A tier, i fully agree (if this tier list is made only for coordinated team players).
I am honestly very disappointed that Meowscarada was in the D tier and that Azumarill was in the E tier (although Azu's late game does fall off a little.) I felt like they could have been a little higher, especially Meowscarada. Night slash might not do much, but I heard Flower Trick makes amazing outplays. I'm no expert on competitive though, so I can't say for certain.
We were so excited for this tier list, we almost forgot the B tier exists. Still, can’t help but ponder if this could be seen as “definitive” of a tier list as possible if we have the top of the top submitting their picks.
To be fair, on the dodrio nerfs: it WAS crushing it in the japanese meta, it was absolutely everywhere; theyve always placed the jp meta above the others in terms of reference point for nerfs and buffs, so it wasnt surprising to me
but then they nerf dragonite and nightslash zoroark when those characters aint broken lmao, they are being biased towards japan because pokemon company is there, but its not ok and its unhealthy, nerfing characters based on popularity aint balancing
@@serily4524 im not saying its healthy, but yes, thats exactly my point. They focus on japan way more than anywhere else, not a good thing but its happening. And before the nerf dodrio was everywhere. Played in attacker slot, played top lane and jungle too
I wonder how EX pokemon would stack up. Does Mewtu even make S Tier since he is so basic mechanically or does this allow the pro player to take the role of a sentinel that calls the shots
"Really, just cuz of it's unite move?" 😅 ppl are so silly sometimes🤭 The unite which empties the ray fight, the unite which when played well can just remove whatever 2 or 3 Pokémon the enemy team was gonna do any damage at all with. Yeah, it's pretty good😂 I know it's different in comp vs. solo, but the fact that basically every draft match is char + ceruledge ban, and then a choice between ho-oh, slowbro, umbreon, mimikyu, delphox kinda says everything.
Greedent got me to Master class with ease in Season 1😅 I was disrupting and belching all day and the belch used to HIT. But played him recently… and yeh he’s def in the bottom tier
Greedent got me to Master class with ease in Season 1😅 I was disrupting and belching all day and the belch used to HIT. But played him recently… and yeh he’s def in the bottom tier. Gren, Cinder and Decidueye can go there too😂
Stupid question guys, what is the best way to sneak over to the enemy goal zone for stacking at the start of the game? I tried different strategies (wouldn't call it like that but... yeah ykwim XD). Maybe I'm doing it wrong, or I'm just to stupid to do it right, but would really appreciate some tips 😅 I like playing defender/Allrounder on both lanes
Try to only have 2 or fewer points each time you try to stack. 5 being the max. Anything more than that is extremely difficult to score with an enemy present.
Take one or two of the bunnelby last hits, go through the bushes to score, steal enemy last hits, don't have more than 6 points at a time, always be ready to dash away from the enemies, know your character's limits
generally u dont want to int for stacks to win the lane. if you're playing a pokemon that absolutely needs stacks such as lucario and blaziken, you can go for an early 2 point stack and then play for farm. but you NEVER want to stay on the enemy side because you will be A pressed to death. keep in mind i'm talking from a duo/trio to 5s environment not soloq. generally you want to leverage your xp share lane partner to reach power spikes and then snowball the lane and have your supporter rotate bottom and 1v1 the enemy toplaner and if you win you can stack and snowball even harder. the enemy toplaner will be trying to do the same thing, which is why you do not want to play tok aggressively if you are not hugely overlevelled. in a soloq environment, honestly imo don't stack at all. too much of a liability and its only useful on pokemon that can leverage the power very heavily or need it to properly exist come lategame. for example, mimikyu does NOT need to stack at all, in fact id argue you should never be stacking with it umless you are play rough.
Once they release Mega Lucario and Mega Kangaskhan, then All-rounders will dethrown defenders. We already have Cent doing Burst dmg as an All-rounder with Drain Crown and crit. Mark my words!
jake, what do you think about adc ranged characters having 800-1000 less hp than other attackers? i feel like this is what really keep them down. mewtwo is the only one with hp in line with the other attackers
I love how the big thing is that "goodra doesnt die" and how much healing options it has yet people still consider it horrible, yes im a goodra main, it is S tier, ive won 1v5s before
I hope that Blaziken stays like this for a while, I have never seen a cursed set Blaziken in a lobby and most players who are BAD with him don't throw the game away. The fact that he is an expert Pokemon that requieres skill and not just spamming stuns with a spoon makes it a fair pick and fair buff.
Lmao Blaziken is not hard to play. Like, at all. E-speed Lucario is hard. Night slash Zoro is hard. Blaziken is barely above the "just spam", cause at least you have to look at your cooldowns once in a while.
@@nicolomanfrini8671Yeah people are just wrong when they say blaziken is a high skill pokemon. It doesn’t even compare to the build sets you mentioned.
@@RishikeshVIII-D I just don't get it. I know that for unite players everything with a hitbox smaller than a goal zone is pretty much an impossible to hit skillshot, but when it comes to brawlers I don't know what these people's standards for difficulty are. So the Mon that has built-in healing, a shield every 5 seconds, two instances of cc, a long range burst, 3 dashes and a great secure tool that makes you unstoppable is hard to use ?????????? Like damn, even ceruledge which is broken is riskier.
Most shocker for me is Mamo, I just can't see mamo better than C tier Everything else seems or ok or at most 1 tier to high/low, Mamo is the only 1 that is at least 2 tiers off for me.
Ok so levels 1-6 Inteleon is better than Deci , also considering that you are a the enemies primary target i think Intelon's Unite is better than Deci's who's does more dmg if your out of arrows depending on the situation and enemy team. Also part of the kit Intelion's shot does more burst dmg, while Deci's can penetrate enemies (for example hits a garchomp and a blissey+/- a defender). So again depends. For the other move i usually run storm leaf on Deci, unless there's no divers. But i think Intelions back shot is OP since it ignores some stuns and lets him get away WHILE STUNED. Then there is also how many times you can hit the enemy. I've watched champs miss 3 times in a row with Intelion, while Deci's arrows are pretty accurate. So i think it all hinges on experience, situation and enemy comp.
@@rionaldodwiputrayudistira3660 ik but i mainly play solos so seeing him low on every version of the tier list between, regular, comp and community doesnt feel right
Scizor and Goodra got destroyed by the heal reduction items, it almost did not hurt the supports they are still A and S, they buffed swords dance, but damage was never the problem. I hope they'll buff them because in a draft game they both are E tier by default. Also, btw, Charizard is better than Blaziken because you can literally just cancel its overheat while it tries to secure.
let me guess, you are that type of guy who know absolutely nothing about the game and don't know wth paths are and always insta picks cinderace and invade your own central area without calling any paths
@@Kowareta_Niji_onTG zeroara, and aegislash do well than most people think in co ordinated plays, coz zeroara has very high damage and great escape button and a great aegislash player is a force to be wreken with but I somewhat get what you are saying but not about mamo, it is straight up broken in tournament
This isn't a solo que tier list. This is how good the Pokémon is in the highest level of team play. Greninja is too frail and doesn't do enough burst damage to play into the most common compositions.
I've been playing with Charizard almost exclusively since the beginning of Pokémon Unite and I'm glad that it's finally become relevant again after an eternity. My win rate is 64 percent and also over 50 in ranked battles, but with my dragon I have 70 percent. Now I can finally play Charizard properly again🐉
