The Verstandig Pavilion at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where the most advance care in the region meets the most advance facility. The pavilion offers 156 private patient rooms filled with natural light, a new expanded emergency department, doubling the size of our current ER, with 32 private rooms. 31 state-of-the-art operating rooms, three levels of additional underground parking and beautiful expansive outdoor green space that creates a healing environment for our patients, their loved ones, our associates, and the community. The pavilion allows us to continue to provide world class care to the community and beyond, in a world class facility.
