Usually I can control my emotions, but I had some tears while watching this. I will never forget this day for the rest of my life. What a great night. What a great year. What a great match.
Eternal Grey Not really crazy because Germany had played a great tournament. They had been the best team by far and played many great games. The 7:1 against Brazil was amazing. And yes this Brazilian team was weak and the Germans were having a good day.
brazilians could not stand the fact that argentina would have won the world cup at their own home, I know this well cause im brazilian. Though I supported my favourite player (Messi) over the wc weeks, I cried when mario gotze scored that goal...
At this day the biggest crowd cheering for Germany wasn't the German population itself it was the Brazilians😂 They hate Argentina so much and didn't want them to win in a any way
That's what I thought too. For 120 minutes the whole world stands still and enjoys watching a game. This world could so more peaceful and friendly.... that's what make me sad and happy same time.
Yeah.. really sad. India is still pretty shitty at football 😅.. so much Potential with that huge Population. They should quit that boring Cricket and Hockey Garbage 😂
@@amethyst3396 dude they shouldn't be there. Ask any German citizen, they want nothing to do with Afghanistan and Middle East. Every bullet that's fired by these soldiers, someone will remember and it will come back on the German streets. It's not smart. It will create more enemies, more hate, more grudges and endless cycle of killing innocent civilians on both sides. The only people who always get hurt are civilians from both sides albeit disproportionately one sided.
@@SerTempleton . I am German and I totally agree with you. We have absolutely no business in Afghanistan. What we do have is a bunch of @%&# politicians.
Bagas Pramuarsa r u Spanish? Seriously though, 2010 was the first football I’d ever seen and I fell in love, I am German though and 7-1 just makes 2014 better
I watched this finale with my three uncles in Moscow. They all fell asleep in the first half, and I, a sixteen-year-old girl, watched and worried to the end for Germany. How could they fall asleep? These men😅 P.s.: stop commenting that they were drunk, they was just uninterested and it was night
as a german, watching the world cup final from my living room, was in fact the best day in my life. I was 10 and now I'm 16. at the age of 14 I made my debut for the german youth girls national team!!
Pablo Gabriel Roldan Marchessi Yeah of course the German TV Team gave them am lot of Money to cheer for Germany. Thats the reason, Congrats, you‘ve got it ...
very nice movie, i watched that game at home, and i remembered i was fasting that day, i was so afraid that germany lose the game to the point where i forgot to eat when the fasting was over, i love how people all over the world lived that final. we love germany, we love the world. from senegal
So sweet of u m8 .. i always loved this gr8 team .. germans r wher thy shud be .. on top of th football world .. i wud add tht this vid automatically puts me in a good mood (even after almost a year) .. its just amazing how this event gathers ppl from all aroud th world .. truly th beautiful game :-) .. from Abu Dhabi - UAE with love & respect
I love the Brazilian - Argentinian football rivalry :D Lost to Germany in the most humiliating game in the history of Brazilian football, yet they would rather see Germany win than Argentina
Because Brasilians hate Argentinans in football, it's a big rivalry between those booth nations!! And it would have been shameful for Brasil if Argentina had won on their home soil, am I right with this.,????
Because it was more Brazil humiliating themselves than anything else. Germany played fair, and they actually let off a little bit in the second half. If not for that, they would have most likely stayed neutral.
As the whole world stares at their screens in shock when Higuain scores a goal, an elderly Japanese man chimes in, calmly as can be: *"ah, offsāido です"*
@@chigzy7322 because the ball in American football used to be exactly 1 ft long. So that weird mess up actually started with their even weirder measurements ;D
The whole Nepal🇳🇵 was awake that night. Every 5 minutes you walk, you could see a big display screen with match going on and people cheering. World cup is like a festival in my country.🇳🇵
thanks to brazil they give the world one of the best events ever . and it was such a nice well organized beautiful wordlucp in a wonderful country. im happy that germany wons but my dream is that one day a african team will win the game.
My heart goes out to these Indian Boys living with ten people on ten square meters. I used to live in India myself and have a strong affection to its people.
I really liked that too, he seemed genuinely happy germany won! I remember watching this match in the U.S., i had just bought my Ozil kit and wore it for like 4 days straight after germany won!
As an Argentinian and diehard messi fan, losing this final hurt like hell. I cried so hard. But I’ll say that it was such an amazing World Cup. And I respect Germany. They played well in 2014. I really wish argentina won though. Thank you for hosting such a great World Cup Brazil. An unforgettable year
This was the best final of the 21st century. Every single time im watching those videos of WC 2014 i get every single time massive goosebombs. I‘havent had this feeling in WC 2018. Not even a bit
When I see those kids sleeping on the floor at the end, I could cry. If I had the money, I'd go there right now and help them. Even in 2020 still very nice pictures. But also very very sad pictures at the end with the children. Greetings from Germany to the world.
Thank you, thank you for this video. We watched this from Manila, Philippines, at 3AM. Football fans were packed into bars and viewing parties and everyone had been wrapped in anxiety, hoping their team will win, as it was a very gripping match. Both teams were amazing. I remember fearing Messi's free kick at 120' and I held my breath at watching it. It is so amazing that everyone else, wherever we are, felt the same at watching the Final. Football truly unites us.
I remember watching this live I was so happy for Germany I was rooting for them the entire time. I grew up with reading a lot of history and I felt really happy that Germany could feel and show their pride for their country and not only them but other people shown support of their colors and flags
im watching this video 8 years later and i still cant believe how many people cheered for us germans and said things like "the germans play more like a team and with head, heart and soul" but the Public viewing in Berlin was amazing in my opinion it looked more like a concert than like public viewing same counts for Rio
When you see so many different people cheering for one match, for one foreign nation with all their love and all of their hearts... that's 100% passion. That is football! Russians, US-Americans, Australians, Indians, Canadians, Brazilians, Turks and Japanese rooting for Germany... that gave me goosebumps! One of the best World-Cup finals ever. 24:10 says it all!
Watched this in a viewing party hosted by co workers (since football is not popular here in the Philippines). I didn't know anybody there but I had the best time. Was rooting for Germany because I liked them early on when I started watching in the group stage. Congratulations to both GER and ARG! What a game. And thank God, it did not reach penalties. I don't think my heart could have taken the drama. Sad the WC is over. Will tune in for sure in 2018. :)
This video leave me in tears since covid-19 is around... I miss the goosebumps, the excitement inside the stadium, I hope this pandemic will end soon....
A very very nice video! My world cup final was so excited because I had a chance to watch this match with a lof of Die Mannschaft fans from Vietnam and I will never forget the moment when my favorite team lift the cup after a long long time. And it's very beautiful to see all people around the world watching football. :)
24.25 i love when he's say Brasil and Argentina can crying together..... Germany are great winning world cup in South America and beat Brasil and Argentina... Proud to be Germany fans...
Götzes Goal was heartbreaking for me. Standing in the croud at the fanmile at the Brandenburger Tor with my friend's I cried myself out... I'll never forget that time. Thank you for bringing me back those memories, well done movie.
DANKE
How great it is to see people from different countries rooting for another country. Feeling the same joy, sadness and anxiety when they're playing on the pitch.
Amazing documentary. That's truly what makes football the most beautiful sport on earth. No matter who you are, no matter where you from, no matter if you poor or rich, it connects us all in such a wonderful way.
Congrats! Excellent video. Niels Eixler (filmmaker) has just been awarded with the first prize (tv category) of the German Association of Sports Journalists (VDS). 20.4.2015
Great video!! lots fans, neighbors, children and armies in here... how many people enjoyed this game on same time around the world? no need to resume war.
What an amazing Video! It is thrilling to see how for a short moment we are all human and not devided by borders, languages or race but together in the Spirt of sportmansship and friendship! What a feeling. Thank you DW Kick off for the goose bumps!
Goosebumps while watching this. Beautiful how football connects the world. At that day, i never was more proud to be a german. What a time that was... Incredible Video. Incredible People.
Football back then was different it just feelt alot more alive than today. I was 14 back then in Stuttgart. When the end came everywhere u heard fireworks and people screaming. Hopefully 2022 is gonna be like that
God hails capitalism #sarcasm #greed
Its sound logic though, Brazil spent a lot of money on that world cup and to do that just fo Argentina to win would be so cruel, especially after the 7-1
I didn't know so many countries support germany all around the world!! It was really heartwarming for me as german and makes me wanna give something back to them. It feels like Germany is on a spotlight for so many people. To anyone reading this: Let's be a good next generation. Let's help each other.
