Thank you for being honest about the Indonesia situation lmao, I get that it sucks to lose like that, but acting like the world is out to get you is just pathetic. There was clear reason to add 3 minutes to the clock.
@@leonardiephang8425 No, because their was like 4 minutes of time wasting after the added time had been decided. Have you ever actually watched a game of football before? Like this happens literally all of the time. Its not like they added 7 minutes onto the 6. It was 3. Extremely common practice, especially when one team is time wasting.
Extra time is so common, especially against teams like indonesia and bahrain. Australia had to face a few extra minutes against China because of a series of corners on the same day. Tons of teams in hundreds of matches experienced this, so the indonesians are flooding unrelated comments sections complaining that they werent allowed to waste time and lost a match
Believe me, the idea of brazillians playing in Europe being no better than the ones playing in Brazil is not exclusive to the president, A LOT of the midia and people in general think the same.
@@brunoactis1104 they have. Still, it's kind of crazy to think that they play in the same level as the ones in Europe. I love my country and our league, but i just can't agree with that idea. The brazillian league got very much stronger in the last few years, but we're still behind the europeans, mostly because of money, just like every other country in south america.
That exact bullshit made the rounds in Argentina a couple of years back. Pundits always have to have an scapegoat when things go south and those kind of hot takes sell
@@therealkatanaboy exactly, and most times the problem is much deeper than just the players. In brazil's case the CBF is just trash. That's the real problem.
Hey Maqwell, life isn’t too good right now. Mainly filled with stress and anxiety. However something about your style of making videos and its structure works as a form of therapy and genuinely makes everything feel better. Keep it up man, I appreciate yah
I am from Colombia and when they showed the t-shirt for the 100th year celebration all I could think was "Maqwell is going to love this" 😂Also we dont talk about Bruno or Bolivia 😒
I'm a FK Velež fan (Rafael Leai's club) and even tho he didn't really live up to the expectations I did find him playing tennis with some kids and took a picture with him. Bosnia and Herzegovina lore
@@fp-ko7vg Fun fact of that club, they're currently fighting to win a league after 11 years, even though in 2023 they were very close to descend to second division. In their prime they even won a Copa Libertadores and an Intercontinental against the Milan of Capello (the one which slaughtered Cruyff's Dream Team in 1994).
What i found funny is that this Indonesian team bottling is genuinely after the most incompetent leaders Indonesian ever had tried to use footbal as a sign that his leadership isnt just general regression. And said team just got bahrained and got 2-1 to china. Its genuinely like even the world is telling how bad things are. And said football fans still got blinded by that with the biggest football account on the country has stupid take on politics. Tldr maqwell jinx actually has funny effects on Indonesian politics
Shame you didn't talk about the Bielsa and the players situation. For those who don't know, here in south america we say that the players are "making the bed" to the coach when they are purposely playing to lose or not playing to the 100% (we call it playing backwards). Well with what Luis Suarez and the other players said about Marcelo (wich for most of us is a ridiculous complain), there is a wide spread theory that the uruguayan players let themself get beaten by Peru for the sacking of Bielsa.
What a weird window as an Aussie. New coach but the same skepticism cause Shit still hits the fan and it did early against China but a win is a win nowadays for us. The Japan game though, if our old coach was still in charge, 5-0 loss easy so to take a draw and by a miracle being 2nd in the group is just perfect
When maqwell talk about indonesian situation make me think if bahrain really don't do anything wrong than why did bahrain doesn't want to play at the GBK Stadium??
I'm Sorry Maxwell. But Indonesia were robbed here. I mean, I watched the game and just looking at the time the referee was doing something very suspicious right after the match ends with a 2-2 draw because the Bahrain players were acting on the pitch. What's even more infuriating is that the referee weren't looking at the watch it's just that we controlled the game right until the last minute. So after the defeat of China it was the tactical fault by Shin Tae Yong. And hopefully we can try to rise up again, but it's going to be very difficult against Japan. Love you Maqwell!❤ -Daffa
Bro, were you robbed, or is your team not good enough? Indonesia clearly isn’t good enough for the WC and will never make it anytime soon. Just accept it
Indonesian fans are 0% right in complaining about stoppage time being extended until the 99th minute. The most underdiscussed problem with football officiating is timekeeping. Football referees could learn something from Futsal referees, as in Futsal, time is measured as accurately as humanly possible with there even being a designated timekeeping referee. It should have never been allowed to become the norm that any time wasted (by which I mean: time when play is paused) during stoppage time is not added onto the pre-existing stoppage time, as this allows the winning team/the opponent of the team that is desperate for a goal to win by stopping play and delaying the re-starting of play instead of actually... you know... playing the game and facing the offensive threat. Adding on any stoppage time accumulated during stoppage time NEEDS to become the norm, because these are the final, most hectic and crucial minutes of the game and we will never know how many games had their score altered by this idiotic policy.
There is this crab theorem where when you put lots of crabs in a bucket and they will always pull eachother down so nobody gets out, my point is BOOOO MAXQWELL BOOOOOO 👎👎👎
Maqwell, Luiz Henrique plays for Botafogo, a brazilian team. And in the game against Chile, both goals were scored by players who play in Brazil. I don't think Lula's reasoning is correct, but at the same time I don't think highlighting factually incorrect information to prove a point is right either...
That referee between Paraguay vs Venezuela was REALLY SUS. Because every single time a Venezuelan player touch a player, the Paraguayans will act like Neymar 2.0😒. But we got this. Mano; Tengo Fe🇻🇪🇻🇪🇻🇪 But oh well… at least Venezuela is BETTER than Indonesia😏😏😏
Get outta here dude, Venezuela played like we usually play; defensive and lots of fouls. Paraguay was simply superior and Venezuela fouled a ton. Sure, the pen was extremely soft, but we didn't even score, and i'm glad we didn't, or else we would never hear an end to it. Regardless, i'm sure you guys will get the Play off spot.
