Thank you for showing this. It's much appreciated by me. I wouldn't have got to see this deadlift attempt if you had not kindly posted it. I was very surprised to see Hicks fail at 470. He was my favourite to get the record. Not sure what went wrong for him, he looked so impressive in training. But thank you once again.

Does everybody forgot about Trey Mitchell.... 470 kg raw..... everybody talking about hooper and hicks,heinla... But 470 raw....

Before this I thought it was between hicks and ivan, now it's looking more like mitch hooper has a chance

Mitch Hooper is ever more impressive. Hicks did not deliver in competition it seems but it's always been the case, so nothing new.

Only Thor has a chance, most of the others are getting worse. It comes back to what I thought 8 years ago, you need to be well over 400 pounds body weight to do it.

Hicks non lockout on 470 was better than Eddie’s non lockout on 500
