Later, a union between Denmark and Norway, with Denmark as the stronger part, Denmark claimed sovereignty of Greenland from the 18th century on.
@@sue7386 Discovered, not founded 😀 It is believed the inuits came over from what is now Canada about 900 AD, from 1261 Greenland was a part of the kingdom of Norway. Viking settlements started about 985.
