She used reflect, but it wasn’t strong enough.

My theory is that when Link deflected one earlier with his shield, Galeem started using unlockable lasers and the other attempts to reflect failed (Delta's didn't work either, for instance)

Yeah you can't really overlook a detail like that but maybe not showing that was just to keep things simple like Link only blocking one blast of light instead of three. But I really can't see a reason not to have that in the video when it seems all the other small details were there like sonic looking upset for a split second after Pikachu gets blasted.

In this video Pit and Dark Pit do not fall after Palutena gets blasted which is what happens in the original video. In this video the two are still flying and don't give off any indication that they were falling after Palutena disappears. It is a small unimportant thing to notice that can be easily dismissed but it isn't constructive to say that noticing something like that is petty. The video is still great and nothing's perfect. We just want to point it out because we believe missing details like that sort of detract a bit of impact from one specific scene.

In the original clip, of world of light, we cut to pit and dark pit reacting to her as she’s hit, and then they fall, you can’t make them fall slowly like they do in the actual video, so they do this by having us cut to pit and dark pit flying, then turning to see her get killed off screen, meaning the entire problem you have, doesn’t exist if you just think about the diffrent timing.
