Larson will put his car where it needs to be regardless of the lappers. At least twice he stuffed inside a lapper and I think they never thought anyone would be under them. The dude is unreal. You cant tell me that he enjoys the goat rodeo that is Nascar over running sprints and winning just about every night. Guys, think about how many different things you have to adjust on a sprint car to make it run on a different track every night. I worked on a 410 sprint car for around 10 years and we would change torsion bars and reset the stops along with a bunch of other little things every Saturday night and we raced at the same track each week. The amount of moisture in the track will cause you to change torsion bars mid race along with the rear gear (at least). They have Larson's car on "KILL" every night. It's unbelievable the amount of forward bite that car has all the time! Peace
Damn, what increments did you guys have? Changing bars in a modified at a local track was almost always a wholesale change for us. Like, forget the ballpark, we ain't even in the right state kind of a change. But you said it, he can & will put the car where it needs to go to make it work (even when he probably shouldn't). I think his crew chief talked about that awhile back. That Larson can drive around an imperfect setup by somehow finding a way to make it work. Sure is fun to watch.
@@Iceberg86300 The guy I helped was a 5 time track champ and us poor souls helping thought he was over analyzing the car. We would change be changing the rear bar stops between the car and the push truck sometimes. He would wave one of us over and make a change right at the last minute. He was a great driver but it got pretty crazy some nights. We always ran up front but we were all aluminum 410 and a lot of guys were iron blocked or 360 cars. The last motor I saw the dyno tag on was 823hp and 880ft lbs. of torque. Butler is a real high banked big 3/8 mile that gets a big knarly cushion so he was changing to match the cushion most nights. We would make just subtle gear changes along with the wing position on the slide to start. He retired about 6 or 7 years ago. That crazy bastard would pull from Toledo Ohio 4-5 hrs. to Butler Speedway near Coldwater Mich. He would pass 5 or 6 dirt tracks on the way. He raced all over for years but ended up at Butler after he broke his back deep in Illinois and his wife pulled them home with him laying in the back of the van. Pulled with an open trailer for years. Finally got an enclosed the last 5-6 years he raced. He loved Butler. He was one of the best at Butler for probably 12+ years. It's my favorite dirt track in Michigan. Its the only track in Michigan that runs Sprint cars every Sat night.
MIchael Olenick Schumacher and Hamilton wouldn’t of won all those championships if they were racing in the senna Prost era. Both awesome drivers but both haven’t had that much competition
@@slidejobcentral Senna, Prost, how much winning would have they done racing had they been born in Hamilton's or Schumacher 's era? Can't blame those guys for not having only competition for a few years, it's F1 for not recuiting good drivers from other disciplinings to compete against them. They took advantage of their situation. I will say, with the use of computers, having all race tracks on computers has made the competition very tight for Hamilton,. Only his team's money has secured building better cars, look what happens when average drivers get in good cars, they become very competitive, very easy to see, something Senna, Prost never had.
@Fativore Lifestyle As you said, it's a totally different skill set. As awesome as Larson is, I personally think Larson would be pretty out to lunch in F1. As would any F1 driver in a Sprint car. We've seen this time and time again with F1 drivers crossing over in to NASCAR, and getting their asses handed to them.
He’s amazing, and I’m very happy he’s back to dirt full time because I’m a big fan, but the reality is that with the amount of talent in World of Outlaws it’s anyone’s race to win on any given night. That’s why I watch.
Yeah, That's the way it was against Steve KInser for many decades. Then to a lesser extent, Donny Schatz more recently. We all get entertained when we see greatness in plain sight. Great racing.
Larson belongs on dirt. Dirt Racing is his thing! He’s alright in NASCAR. I feel like he’s happier on dirt because dirt racing requires skills, and he’s the GOAT of dirt. NASCAR doesn’t when it comes to 550HP. I honestly like Larson on dirt more🏁
LoganoKeslowski 12 I’m just a young Motorsports fanatic who loves racing. Honestly, I just feel happier when Larson is racing on dirt than NASCAR. Nothing against him (besides the situation), but I just like him on dirt more
I actually know Cody Swanson never officially met Kyle was parked next to him once in the pits at Bloomington both amazing talented drivers I don't care who wins both great Cody is a real Christian man he's a good guy did a friend of mines funeral good people
The amount of side by side down to the checkers dirt racing I have watched from all levels over the last month is unreal these races have ya on the edge of your seat and great to see at a time where almost every sport is in the tanker

@@grantsexton9487 Taylor has replied to every post on this video with the same 2 responses. Obviously his driver isn't winning as much this year and he isn't taking it well.
Randy Kirchhevel according to a previous post I had in the past, Schatz has all the money in the world under Tony Stewart and that is why he wins all the time.. Schatz won 5 championships without Stewart and 5 with Stewart.. when Schatz won his 5 w/o Stewart, where was the $$? Schatz is still the man to beat on the circuit, just wait..
@@glenpaul5663 well when he runs up front he is unstoppable and there was times like when he won at Lernerville when he won the 50,000 dollars you thought he was going to be very competitive then 2 races later his engine quit on him. But he is averaging a top 10. Some of the times he will crack the top 5 they must gamble a little when it comes to getting the right gear ratio in the rear end. But Kyle Larson, Brad Sweet, Logan Schuheart , David Gravel, Sheldon Haudenschilds are very competitive as well.
3:10 Those two lappers thought they were staying out of the way. 😂 Larson isn’t scared to find the line he wants...just hope it keeps working out for him. Not knocking him....more admiration of the all out attitude.
taylor sheldon So what part of my comment do you not like? Seriously confused. The praise I gave Larson for his driving ability or how the racing he provides is awesome to watch? Which do you not agree with? Also not sure where NASCAR was mentioned so explain that one as well.
taylor sheldon I don't watch WWE NASCAR ! As far as the Moron , might be I've never be tested ! I'm a dirt car watcher , I have been for years ! You should not call people names , only in person , so I could beat the dumbness out of you !
Shredxcam22 imagine bashing on a driver who doesn’t even race on World of Outlaws🙄🤦🏻♂️ What a stupid thing to say.... at least Bubba never said a racial slur that offends white people. The C word that I refuse to say because I’m not Kyle Larson
LoganoKeslowski 12 he’s not gonna care, he’s too stupid and busy hating on Bubba for doing the right thing. He’s probably very American, so what do you expect?
Pray he never returns to NASCAR. World of Outlaws is the best racing on the planet, and with the best drivers that put on the best racing program, night after night after night. Thanks WoO!!! THREEEE WIIIIIIIDDDE!!!
Nothing's changed much -- at least in winged sprints -- since he was in high school in Elk Grove blowing all the old guys away in Placerville, Chico, Calistoga, Watsonville and Tulare. He's Just Got The Knack.
Tell you what West Fargo Speedway used to be a like Knoxville. Big half mile and was built for speed.. It has hosted both Outlaw Sprint and Outlaw Late. They reopened the track shortened it up and wrecked it for what. The guard rail used to be concrete that nobody had issues with it. Just good to see racing again at West Fargo Fair Grounds..
Brayden Plays PSVR Did you when it was a true half mile with concrete walls encompassing the entire track. Rick Auckland, Mitch Johnson, Joe Jacobson(Big Joe) and a full. Outlaws would come through every year 2days forth of July weekend. GreAt memories of the West Fargo Speedway.
At least we can say we watch it because you will never see it again

YA NOBODY HAS THE MONEY TOO BUY THAT MUCH MORE HORSEPOWER THEN THEIR COMPETITION AND KNOW THAT MORE NASCAR MONEY IS ON THE WAY, ITS A UNIQUE SITUATION THAT COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED WITH PROPER ENGINE RULES 30 YEARS AGO
@ dude you have no clue about sprint car racing. I mean none. Let me help you out just a little bit. They all have about the same equipment and horsepower. Kyle Larson could get in 80% of the cars he is racing against and do the same thing. Now I will say he does have a helluva of a crew guy that sets his car up but the equipment is equal. Money has NOTHING to do with what kyle Larson is doing in the world of outlaws. Yes he is that good.
@@johnnyquist8362 I don't know what jaded means but I know what racing is and Kyle Larson win and every weekend is not racing like I said I'll see what he does today without the wing don't
@@tcjohnson3437 no learning curve.....he has non wing wins at Calistoga against heavy hitters.....he'll be fine. Besides his first time at Eldora....infamous.
They dont check cars any more its nice to see some one other than 15 win but kyle quite pucking up the raceing. Outlaws showes are fixed dont u know that by now Ive been going sprint car raceing for 60 years ive seen it all Same o same o Iam glad i get it on my phone when kyle takes off leaves every body i can click it off and dont have to wast my money going any more I told the ticket lady do i pay here or do i take over to kyles trailer and give it to kyle just saying Whats happening to tonys ford. Earl would turn over in his grave knowing tony put up ford sighns at eldora when Earl died so did eldora my Opinion.
I know the track hasn't been raced on in weeks due to weather. So i guess the track crew had tons of time to make this track look amazing for tonight event. This coming from someone who lives in the area.
They raced on it last night and donny schatz is the one at fault for changing it from the half mile to the 3/8 mile

DIRT CAN THINK MY COMMENTS ARE JOKES BUT THATS YOUR OWN FAULT FOR NOT PROTECTING YOURSELVES, ILL CHANGE THIS SPORT WHAT EVER WAY I HAVE TOO IM PREPARED TO DO ANYTHING NECESSARY
U don't vote then don't complain this just like the flu use common sense nothing new my job involves almost 1000 people from 3 different states no cases there and if u listen to the real news they sent 10 test out that didn't touch a soul and all came back positive, the NFL just yesterday posted over 25 false positive test so I don't believe its as bad as the media is blowing it up
@@Karrott9 really it came from China everything you use is made in China and we still buy it so everyone is helping to pass it around just like the flu
Someone needs to look at that car No Way it's legal! I have been watching sprint car racing for 40 years and never seen anything like this. To good to be true.
Steve Kinser reeled off some pretty impressive seasons. Unless you discount 40 & 50+ feature win seasons. Unfortunately those were all pre-internet, so not near the exposure. There’s a very legitimate reason he’s called the king. That being said, Larson is a phenom! His mother videotaped his early dirt career. A lot of those videos can be found on RU-vid. Watch some of of those. You’ll stop thinking what he’s done in 2020 is too good to be true. A couple of years ago my brother and I got into a debate about who was the best sprint car driver currently. My brother adamantly insisted it was Donny Schatz. I told him it was Kyle Larson. That his racing NASCAR full time prohibited sprint car fans from seeing his dirt greatness. Then along cake BIZZARO 2020. In my opinion #yungmoney has proved his greatness. In the The Kings early days many wanted to attribute most of his success to Karl Kinser, his crew chief. Yet The King went on to win many races and WoO championships without Karl. Sit back enjoy Larson’s greatness. Come 2021 you’ll only be able to see it a handful of times per year. When he isn’t there an awful lot of sprint car fans will wish he was, me included.
If you’ve been watching for 40 yeas(I have) you would know Steve Kinser won almost 700 A Mains, 20 WoO Championships, 12 Nationals. Then you have Schatz, Swindell, Wolfgang, etc. His car has been inspected on multiple occasions. He also has won several Midget races and now the Hoosier 100. Stop hating. He’s just that good.
