The All Star race at Red Dirt Raceway was way better then this. Reutzel and Larson battled the entire race slider after slider. Larson is demonic this year!!!! Great race last night though!!
Kyle should win the driver of the year award. Some sprint car experts compare what Kyle is doing this year to what Doug Wolfgang did in 1985(?) . Doug won about 50 races that year.
@@gtrplayya Agree with you. Steve Kinser was awesome +++. Kyle did it again, second race in a dirt late model and he won. Great great drivers can win in anything. May know Dick Trickle as a winner of a 1000 short track races. But few know he was a factory Yamaha snowmobile racer in the early 1970's
@@jimbojimbo8375 Respectfully the all time record for most wins in a season is 1987 Steve Kinser 46 out of 66 A mains. This reminds me of the race at Hagerstown in 90-91 can't remember that Wolfgang and Kinser exchanged leads and Kinser got him right at the checker. Great race.
@@jeffreyprater1715 Dicj Trickle won 67 features in 1972. Tom Reffner won 67 features in 1975 or 1976. Father Dale Grubba wrote a book called "67" about those seasons.
I kind of hope he doesn't get reinstated because I know he's going to continue to tear it up next season, and I want to see him get as many wins as he can in a full season.
The video doesn't show it well, but in turns 3+4, Kyle had his RIGHT rear tire in the same line as everyone else's left rear. He was so far to the inside, at times it looked like an ATV, couple laps he had all 4 in the grass to get around a lapped car. 30 years I've been going, and I have never seen a drive like that in a Sprint car
Larson runs lines no other drivers do. He's always running up on top of the cushion or sometimes goes in way above the cushion and diamonds off the turn. It takes alot of talent to drive a sprint car above the cushion but that's why he is on a different level.
This is one of the most aggressive com-backs in control that I have seen in my 40 years of watching racing. Hands down best sprint car driver. What a dominant year. Congrads !
Maybe the best finish I’ve ever watched. Before the last lap I thought Larson had ran out of time to get by him but then.... wow he sent it in turn 1. Awesome!!!!
Omg,!!!!!!!, Larson " sent" into 1 and 2 on the last lap, never seen someone so determined,!!!!!! Awesome job Kyle, sent from weathertech racew ay laguna seca,........................
That’s was freaking awesome. This is a whole lot better than trashcar.Stay here Kyle don’t go back.@3:37 Kyle is like “Hold my beer” @4:17 the crowds reaction is priceless.
We were at this race live, unbelievable racing by Larson. Check out his Fargo, ND race too. We followed them to that race too, and he didnt disappoint.....
Such a good drive Larson, he probably made, Donny Schatz really proud. Donnie be like " damn that's how I used to drive this track.. High low. Low high. 9 lbs of air in right rear. Heats up to 22 lb. Very nice race 🤠
Lmao...wow wow wow!!! If he wasn't driving it like he stole it before the contact, he definitely was after..awesome job!! I hope the haters keep hating so he can keep that chip on his shoulder!!
Track worker shits his pants when Larson goes by with 4 laps left. Unbelievable!!! A lot of drivers would have lost and then tried to start a fight back in the pits. Not Larson, just stay in the gas and win the race. I love it.
He's thought of as a guy who prefers the top of the race track, but this was a perfect example of just how quickly he can change it up and adapt to the situation at hand. He's still young, but I think he's earned being recognized as one of the greatest to ever drive a sprint car, and he's obviously fast on asphalt, and in other types of cars as well. Incredible talent to say the least.
Rob Fooks Nope. You are 100% wrong. Larson made the pass, was sliding in FRONT of Shuchart when his BACK bumper kissed Schuchart’s FRONT bumper. Schuchart hooked Larson from BEHIND. Guess what... in both races, #YungMoney still won. Ha! Had to throw that in. Whichever way you see it, they’re even.
Dang man can't believe I missed this last year Im mad af I'm just finding this lol,, that was amazing,, but last Saturday got to go to Sharon speedway and see Dave blaney beat lil haud and win a woo race. It was pretty special
