At the end T92 did not fire, it was a thunder which sometimes occurs at the end of that map.

What a game. This dogfight was just amazing. Btw Jingles, I was pretty impressed how easily the word "Geschützwagen" rolled down your tounge perfectly pronounced, when usually most not germans really struglle with words like that, especially the "ü"

40k gone with 2 premium consumables. Had he used small repair and med kit he would have made money

A way around that is just stockpile the premium consumable whenever they're on 50% sale. I did that almost every time it came around, bit by bit, until I have about 200 - 500 of each. Not that I use them that much as i only equipped it on Tier 8+ tanks, or tank that has small crews like AMX 13, or Crusader.

Sure, sure. The point is it is almost impossible to break even with a standard account without using any kind of premium on high tier vehicles, as the exemple shows in this video. When you constantly lose credits you cant buy them, half price or not.

I know what you mean about using high explosive shells. I for one have started using them to finish off my hard to kill enemies on low health. You are the one person that helped me realize that is one way to do it so thankz to you Jingles I have become a bit more intelligent player.

A little bit of accuracy here: It's not _light_ tanks who remain their camo value on the move, but only dedicated _scouts_. The Pz I C for example loses its camo while moving, while the Luchs does not.

As an arty player, I'm also frustrated -as the S-tanker did, on the beggining- when an ally is near/blocking the shoot. Was a chance to take an enemy out of the game, but missed opportunity. One of the best new functions that was being tested on SandBox 2.2 was the "area marking" where the arty player will shoot, warning the allied team to do 2 things: 1) Avoid the nearby of that area (avoiding TK/Team-stunning); 2) Prepare to shoot there asap enemies are stunned. Load the ammo an take the opportunity. (That's coordinating fire / teamwork)

It should be noted that the UDES 03, STRV-0 and STRV-B has some of the best on-the-move camo-ratings outside of light tanks.

Dare I say that knowing that I have a moment of happiness to look forward to, however brief it might be, has helped keep me this side of six feet under. Or I guess this side of Davy Jones' locker door would be more apt considering your experience in the Queen's Royal Rowboat Regiment. (And yes, you can channel your sailer's vocabulary in reply if you so wish)

i would like to point out here, at the end of the video, and after reading some of the comments: The Caernarvon had the stock gun, also known as the Black Prince, or more famously, the TOG 2 gun, to be fair, even with HE, he probably would have been forced to shoot 3 times to kill the S tank, even on that low ammount of health

Jingles. In all fairness the T30 was trying to ram, but as you stated earlier, the s-tank does 50kpm forwards AND reverse with great power to weight. The T30 simply could not ram him as long as he was backing up. But yes, HE is what was needed, why the arty never took another shot on him I don't know all that 92 had to do was sneeze in his area code and he would have gotten the kill.

these types of tanks are easy to penetrate with their shallow slope, as long as you fire HE rounds at the sloped part of the armor.

To be fair, the IS-4 didn't need high explosive. His shells overmatched the armor. He just got the most unlucky ammo rack in history.

Actually Jingles, the S103B has 308mm's of penetration with its standard APCR rounds, not 309mm.

WG needs to implement an alert sound (or better yet, a voice command over a crackling radio) when teammates use one of the zed commands to try to get you to do some something ... like "fall back" or "follow me!" or "you hoser*, you stole my frosty*!" I think most of us have the old 'you're in my line of fire' (can't remember the exact wording) warning disabled because it could get triggered too easily and cause spam on the chat comms causing your teammates to ignore you anyways. [*] Canadian slang for "shithead" and "cold beer" respectively

Jingles - it's not the inability to dab the 3 key, it's the players who REFUSE to carry HE because of the low pen. This is a perfect example of WHY WG NEEDS TO HIRE YOU TO FIX THE TRAINING OF NEW PLAYERS TO THE GAME.

In real life, the S-tank was not totally helpless with one band damaged or shot off. It could manouver and tilt the gun, only it raises to the half maximum elevation, and slower of course. And with the active armour it was tested with, it was equivalent to 500 mm armour thickness.

There are not many situations, where you should use HE over AP or APCR in WoT, so some people dont bring any HE rounds into battle. (I was one of those people.) Im pretty sure, a battle like this is a mind-changer. ^^

With the exception of a few tanks that have very little ammo count like St. Emil you should always have 3 to 4 HE shells. And even then it's not bad to have at least one. Better safe than sorry. But I am sure than none of those 3 tanks though about that after the battle. They will just rage their ass of in global chat or forums about how op the S tank is.

3 reasons to bring HE, decaping Grile 15 line of TDs which is werry popular,... and finishing of those pecky superheavys who ding eeverything siting on 1% hp reasons for not to bring HE into battle Autoloader who has werry low ammo load overal and( or) wery smal gun caliber (57mm and less) And I lowe those 210pen cent 7 hesh

... Fyi Jingles, one time when I had my Aufklpanther, I took a direct hit from a T92 in the front of the hull, and i survived, granted i went from full to like 58 health and had a spall liner, I survived a direct hit from a T92 hit. Yeah.

Well he took full advantage of having a new tank. No tank gun smaller in calibre than 121 mm firing ap or apcr is ever gonna penetrate this thing from the front, except it hit the REALLY small cupola or fires HEAT. Thats because HEAT gets to auto ricochet at 80 degress rather than 70 for AP and APCR. HE would have worked ofc, too^^

Him losing money on that game came down to the consumables, even if the ammo and repairs are cheap, using premium repair and first aid kits and such will always cost you. Pays to have at least one premium to rake up money just so you can use them on your high tier vehicles.
