I nicknamed this thing the doom toaster. It is a shame you can not take down the side plates with it. That would be a neat dynamic, to be locked in place, but have full gun travers.

You have never been so wrong jingles! I find the 2nd gun the best because of the gun traverse... you dont see many tier 7 heavy tanks where you really need the extra pen, and a few premium rounds is more than enough

It's internationally known as Death Toaster. The Flakbus is another German SPG(An 8.8cm on a halftrack).

Actually the second gun is the best. Same alpha as the top gun, good penetration (132 at tier 5 is good, that would equal around 260mm at T10). A LOT wider gun traverse.

But the gun-arc isn't in the stats he was looking at BEFORE trying it out. And many others do the same. Also: This was the testserver almost a year ago, so he also hasn't inform himself as much as today before recording, so from what he knew at that time his decision wasn't completly wrong.

Please note the stock 88 has worse alpha.-

The first 88 has slightly better DPM. And at T5, it doesn't really matter if alpha is 220 instead of 240 IMO. And the wider gun arc and faster aiming time makes it a better gun.

I failed to notice your point here before I wrote the same thing basically. but AFTER I just wrote the same thing in more words! Your (we are) so right! And the same thing with the SU 152. I HATE the derp gun. Victim style. But the same 122mm Gun as the JS I/II put on instead but with 8.11 rof instead of 5.63???? Wow from victim to murderer!

Pz.Sfl IVc - means - Panzer Selbst-Fahr-Lafette IVc (chassis from Pz IV v.C), ..its actually SPG, but with AA gun for direct fire. It's little strange name for it. It looks funny, but normally the side armor plates would be go down to give gun more movement range and stability while firing.

Nope, "Engineer" is - "Pionier", "Lafette" is in english (Army definition) - "gun carriage", for Machine guns and also for big cannons.

Jingles forgot to mention that the two shorter guns got MUCH wider traverse than the top gun so the short 7.5 has a lot of incentives, depending on your playstyle.

I love playing the flak bus. The key is to loiter in the rear, and use your fabulous speed to get quickly into firing position when a target is spotted. Just remember, if you're spotted, you're dead...
