Best looking final sets, best looking final legendary weapons. Best looking final PVP sets. Memory of Orc warriors in BG wearing wrathful set haunt me to this day. Fvckin' permanent treant shapeshift for Resto Druid! Best raids. Return of Naxx, Ulduar, ICC. The lore of dungeons. Nothing ever came even close.
It basically was the end of some of the Warcraft 3 story lines, the rest of which were solved in Legion. Coincidentally, the two best expansions in the game.
My now 14 year old son was 18 months old when WOTLK came out. Whenever he heard the music he always ran up, waiting for the dragon, and roared at the same time it did. He always called the game "Dragon".
The first time I opened wow in my entire life .. was on a private server on WotLK .... maaaaan I loved that so much. Everyone say whatever you want. But for me WotLK was the best (played the others also).
Thank you for leaving the frost wyrm roar in there, that takes me back. This felt like all of the WC and WC3 universe was coming to a close, it felt real. I miss my friends from these days, I sorta miss my life from these days. What an amazing game and time.
Never apologize for too loud dragon. It was part of the experience to have sindy blow out your eardrums once a week because you forgot to turn down your volume
I miss those times of WOTLK, literally everything I miss, music, dung, raids, pvp, experience, EVERYTHING !!! That games was perfect, in addition, the age you are when you play WOTLK, amplified the unique, divine experience ! Just by listening to this music, it brings me tons and tons of good memories !!!
@@crongaming4820 not just in temrs of gaming but also of people who I used to hang out with.. It was incredible we went out for like few hours to play football and everyone talked about Wow.. Oh boy How badly I miss that time
Here we meet again my old freind I remember even my first class was ret paladin . This epic music bring good old memories when i was 15 years old now im 29 This game the closest to my heart i remember how i was playing it with freinds everyday .
Seeing this login screen makes me happy and sad because it’s nostalgic that I was about 10 years old at the time of wrath and it was my favorite but it was also during the time my grandma was still around and she passed shortly after wrath ended and transitioned into cata, I have been a lone wolf in wow ever since 😢
I have played so much wotlk. Fallen asleep at the computer only to wake up to the sound of the dragon and these angelic voices. I miss it. I may have only gotten to 40 in classic but I hope to be on top of my shit and able to throw out countless hours on wotlk when it’s the new classic
If they ever release an official classic WTLC server my face will freeze to a permanent grin and people will think I had a stroke. lol This was the last expansion in Classic WoW for me. Cataclysm onward is a different game.
U might get to relive those days my man wow classic is booming and rumors of tbc and wotlk are on the horizon blizzard has finally realised people want old school wow
I’m glad everyone seems to agree that the fucking Dragon is badass, and that it and the music, and the general dark, frozen aesthetic, made this login screen (and expansion) arguably the best.
I guess you don’t really realise how much you miss the old expansions until you see login screens and than memories of good times start pouring in. Although I’ve had my fair share of good times at every expansion, there’s just nothing like the old ones. I miss my twinks most of all honestly, the ability to play how I want essentially, not be forced into max content. With all the scaling and everything now, even if you could create a twink, what’s the point? it’s not the same anymore. That time where at 61 you were overpowered if you went into the 50-58 dungeons, not BC ones though. I had so much fun doing those twink runs, people would think I was just another random player. But I was so much more than that, I could 1 shot specific levels. I tried it as a hunter, druid, monk, warlock. Druid was the best I noticed, but hunter has it’s super fun parts too, like explosive shot hitting crazy amounts and 1 shotting whole packs or 1 shotting bosses if it crit. Druid was a great all rounder due to the healing amount being crazy too, so I could come in as a dps and keep people alive, if perhaps the healer was dead or busy. Cat or bear was best, moonkin was not great oddly. Didn’t really like the monk, I thought that the spin aoe was going to great but it wasn’t. Warlock I admit I don’t remember as I didn’t get it play much before the patch went live that messed everything up. Honestly for me without twinks the game looses a lot of it’s feels, I had some of the best times and made so many friends and it felt good to help out and now, nothing. When I levelled my hunter to 60 recently, was about the only time I had fun in months on the game. That of course was short lived due to how quickly we level now. It was the only time however that I genuinely felt like I was playing a different expansion again. So it’s short lived-ness was kinda sad.
Sorry for the loud dragon? That's why I came here! Back in the day I used to crank up my home-theater, trust me if you had my sound system you would always wait for Sindy.
I would always let the dragon roar before I logged in it got me pumped to play for days and yes i do mean days i once stayed up 3 days playing this game i had no life
God I was 8 years old when this expansion came out. I played WoW (my dad had an account on which he allowed me to make characters), but it was limited. My dad didn't want me to talk to other players or do duels or join a guild or anything (bc I was literally 8), and I listened. I also didn't know the passcode to the account, so I couldn't play until he came home from work and logged in for me. As a result, there would be me, 8 years old and done with my homework for the day, sitting on the swivel chair in the office, just spinning in circles for an hour staring at this login screen, waiting to finally be able to play for the day. Now I'm studying for finals in my sophomore year in college. This time moving forward shit sucks man :/
Wow. That's exactly what happened with me when I was younger and started playing too lol. I was also 8 when I started. Now I'm going to be turning 20 in a couple of weeks and work full time at a manufacturing company lol (I still play WoW to this day)
I was 13 when I started. I could barely read and write when I started. By no means am I the most eloquent writer now; however what little I do know about writing I truly owe to being bullied on wow.
Now THIS is when I started hardcore raiding. Me and my Destro Lock hoping my guild would let me run. Grabbing a bunch of soul shards and mixing potions hours before the raid time started for ICC. What a time to be alive. Have my soul stone ready Incase a healer died.
Ahhh the Old Time when i played wow :D i started playing wow when i was 6 years old Burning Crusade and when i got 11 years old i started to play Wrath of The Lich King :D everytime i started the launcher i tried to login before the Dragen Lands :D who too? :D
I remember playing with trial accounts for a few years before subbing. When I finally subbed this was the loading screen and it was a thing of beauty. Nostalgia at it's finest and fast forward to know (I don't play) and it's a dumpster fire lol. I hope the new expansion brings in what we used to love about WoW and not have it be a part time job doing all the dailies and god knows what else.
And somehow Dragonflight doesn't have a dragon land and roar in the main menu, but Blizzard had no problem doing it 14 years ago. Just how lazy are Blizzard today?
