The battleship meta has been back line sniping for the last year or so. Deadeye wasn’t the cause, it just reinforces the meta and makes it even more unlikely that it will change.

Yep this 100%... The issue with Deadeye isn't the skills buff itself but how it shifted the meta because of how people misunderstand it and misuse it. This can't really be fixed... It's the same as anti-concealment builds for CAs, similar issue. The issue with the skills rework isn't the different individual things (and there are many, all over the place) but the way it has affected the meta. Making skills that obviously bias longer range gameplay is encouraging a bias already there, which is a problem

The most telling thing about this whole dead-eye meta? Jingles has 23 minutes to ramble on in a circular argument about it because the gameplay is so astonishingly boring it's not even worth commentary. The meta for WOWS has become "play a different game".

Yep, Jingles spent 23 minutes basically saying nothing, and yet his rambling still wasn't as boring as the game. The way people are going to adapt to this new meta seems to be "uninstall".

It was fucking terrible. Basically what we have learnt from this video : 1. how to cure insomnia in 23.5 minutes. 2. how to say "it's all about perception" in 300 different ways with the same words arranged in a slightly different order. I was screaming at him to STFUUUUUUUU after the first 2 mins. WE GET IT. IT'S ALL ABOUT PERCEPTION. Just STFU about it or end the video right there. Holy fuck.

you've used the key word here, mate. "Boring". That's the real problem with Deadeye and what it incentivises people to do. I don't care about the 10% smaller dispersion, they won't hit me at 24 km anyway. What I do care about is that if I'm going to spend 15 minutes of my life playing a computer game, I want it to be entertaining and fun. Deadeye skill has made it a boring game, and this is the biggest sin in a computer game.

@@siriusczech that's fair. And it may be one of my many flaws as a player. I do find it frustrating when he has a broadside target at low speed and then traverses onto another target, then back, and back and forth a couple times before finally firing at one.

@@HunterTeddy010 although my name here isn't the same as my WG account (I am that Shima that Jingles so kindly mentioned).... Enemy Smol felt smol, and had to make himself feel better at the end when they started winning when he was saying stuff like 'see what happens when you move up?' xD People never understand to just slow down, there's 20 minutes in a game. Some people are just in such a rush and because of all the adrenaline they don't take the minute they need to observe the map. As I tell people, awareness is 90% of the game.

@@dunsjohn1314 I don't know about 90% of the game, but it is significant. Games can be determined in the first 2-3 minutes. I made the same mistakes when I started playing, and I am far from a great player, but I do enjoy the game. It takes time for people to learn the game.

Alright, so there are a few things I'd like to argue that you brought up in this video Jingles. I don't necessarily think that you're wrong but I'd like to point out my opinion. For starters when you said that 10% less dispersion on a battleship skill is not that much you seem to be forgetting something about mathematics. See circles have the largest area to the smallest possible perimeter, so if you increase the diameter of a circle by 10% the area goes up exponentially. So by using deadeye even if you're playing a ship like Bismarck/Roma with terrible accuracy, it's still a massive buff because the shells are just as inaccurate but are now landing in a dispersion ellipse that's 30% smaller than it would be otherwise. So no, that 10% difference is a MASSIVE change. I completely agree with your statement "the meta changes based on what the player base thinks" this is absolutely true, however, the meta has been shifting this way for a long time and while I don't think that deadeye caused this meta it is certainly a catalyst. For example, Thunderers were already running rampant, HE spam has been going through the roof. The number of ships that could just pour out damage regardless of angle and range was massive. Battleships were already not pushing due to the massive amount of HE spam that's been put into the game but at least they weren't being actively rewarded for sitting back at long range. The deadeye skill just super-charged all of this. Now there's no way to push in and not get set on fire with very little recourse you can do, so the only thing you really can do is weather the storm. Play passively until the amount of HE spam is cut down enough for you to be able to push in without getting instantly focused. Overall this update hasn't honestly changed much (except for deadeye) but what it has done is super-charge the passive meta WG has been shoving onto us the past few years. And truth be told even if they remove deadeye (which they absolutely should) I don't see it changing the meta all that much. BB's have realized now that the only way to not get burned to death is to not be pushing, if WG really wants to improve the meta then they should be making tanking builds far more effective than they currently are. But I don't see that happening because WG (just like this player base) refuses to admit when they've made a mistake and will beat a square peg into a round hole or break the damn thing trying.

Exactly. I was strongly against the introduction of the UK BB line in the way they did because this result was obvius. Then the french came in with a meta 1/2 AP and 1/2 HE which make things worst and on top of that they split the Conquirer into 2 ships by removing 1 of the Conq's build. People say that Slava is OP as f***K but the fact is that Slava is a in idiot killer - it will nuke you if you are broadside while Thunderer is the most broken BB in the game. Thunderer only has 1 weekness -no armor but that weeknes cant be exploited because its geared to long range snipe with HE which is the absolute worst game design possible. There is no defence vs a ship that hits you for up to 20k with HE (regardless of the angle) and sets 2-3 fires on each salvo.

if you mention maths... were we told what exactly that 10% means? is it the decrease of the radius of the circle your salvo hits? (or axes of the ellipse, never mind : ) in this case the area of the circle (ellipse) changes to 0.9 * 0.9 = 0.81, i.e. 81% of the original (19% better "chance" - or whatever RNG thinks about it : ) but what if by that 10% they meant the area of the circle (ellipse)? then it's just 10% ps. Deadeye Dick by Kurt Vonnegut is a really nice book! (even if slow a little bit : )

Honestly I don’t think most of the points Jingles made this time were fair. Yes, Smol played badly, and likely would have died anyway...but I would argue this video is a minority and picked for the narrative Jingles wanted to present. Dead Eye IS that much of a problem. Not because of a Smol eating smoke torps, but because of the number of 20km+ opening salvo dev strikes Yammy and Vermont have started dishing out. Overmatch was a problem, laser guided overmatch makes being a cruiser untenable.

@@Self-replicating_whatnot Your argument is flawed. In the real world, if 'people' believe something is true, it becomes true, purely and simply because people believe it to be true. You're saying that when you (singular you) believe something that is factually wrong, that belief bites you in the ass. And it does. But we're not talking about singular persons believing something factually inaccurate. We're talking about entire populations believing something (that may or may not be factually accurate.) An example of this behaviour in real life: The Pope is the 'highest authourity' in the Catholic Church. From his seat in the Vatican, he has vast power with which to affect major change felt around the world. But where does that power come from? People might say it's a divine right or they might say it's his destiny or one of a thousand other reasons. However, if you boil it down to the barebones facts, the reason the Pope has as much power as he does is because PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT HE DOES. There's an old joke that goes like so: "I have as much power as the Pope. I just don't have as many people who believe it." And that is ultimately true. Any and all authourity figures in our society only have the amount of power that we the people give them. Take any authourity figure you want. If we all decided that person (or persons) had no authourity, their power over us would evaporate instantly. The trick is that, for that to happen, EVERYONE has to hold that belief. If only a small subsection of people hold that belief, the authourity doesn't disappear. It requires that ALL PEOPLE change their minds and determine that the person(s) no longer hold power to strip them of that power. Circling back to the point, any random person can believe the wrong thing and suffer for it, but it's rare that a belief held by ALL PEOPLE will ever lead to serious consequences for them.

Unfortunately not. Otherwise the game would actually be realistic if carriers dominated. What they do, is remove the silly unrealistic style/concealment meta from the game… And then once again leaving it completely up to the other surface your players to determine who wins.

@idicstinger666 It's not possible to deplane a CV anymore. You can weaken the strike wings until they're only a few planes each but you can't get rid of them entirely. This is a balance issue so that carriers can still 'have fun' at all stages of a battle. It incentivises smart play and correct target choices but it also stops carriers from feeling like dead weight at the end of a match. Is it entirely unrealistic? Sure. But then, so is having a ship that operates at 100% efficiency when no crew is on board.

To swap games, the dead eye skill rendering cruisers all but useless seems similar to the artillery rework in WoTs which made SPGs less fun to play. Reducing splash damage was all very well, but when your arty doesn't do splash in the first place.....

This reply is very interesting and telling of a very heavy bias. The fact that some think AA is not a relevant thing really is just telling of not actually playing CVs. A CV should only be deplaned through bad play - it shouldn’t be a mechanic to actually run out out of ammo (CV or otherwise). Regardless - Fdr stupidity aside, CVs are no where near dominating for top damage or average damage. What they change is concealment and spotting. So that means - it’s back to non-CVs to win the game.

Mmmm, no, I can't agree with Jingles here. Just tell me - in any game, when players are told "this skill will give you additional 10% bonus in accuracy for free", just how many players will not go for it? It is WG fault, which breaks the game even more, than it was before. Not some void strange "feeling" or "misunderstanding" by people, it is WG game design fault. Or, just think about it, in real life, if somebody tells you he will give you 10% extra money (or whatever) just for sitting not here but overthere, doing the same or even less work than before, will it be your fault to switch your place? And one more thought - with even more ships staying back now (enjoying their, maybe just slight, advantage), yo'll get even less support when trying to do anything else. So - you can move forward, becomming and easy target, dying in a strong HE crossfire, or you'll stay back as well, becomming a part of the problem ...

Yeah I’m not sure why Jingles is so hooked on the “perception” part of the matters. That part is irrelevant. The point is the game has changed negatively, and we know what’s causing, but there’s no way we can fix it.

This reminds me of something I was taught, way back in the days when I was studying HCI... "A user can learn to compensate for a bad interface, but it's still a bad interface". In other words: players might adapt to the various changes, but it's still a bad game.

I think what our Gnome Overlord is saying is that, while it's totally true that the Dead Eye skill has affected seriously the way battles are played, not adapting to that and just bitching when things don't go your way is pure toxic behavior. You can go on the forums and complain, you can write your opinion in the comment section of a video, or you can even make a video yourself about the state of the game, in order to raise awareness of the problem. But once you're in a battle, refusing to adapt to the way the game is at the moment WILL be frustrating, and it WILL penalize your results as a player. One may not like how it is but, for now, the only choices are dealing with it, or stop playing. To put it into perspective, I had stopped playing WoT for nearly 3 years. And now I'm seeing many things I didn't see back then, things I don't like. But, sadly, accepting that things are that way is the only way to go, if I want to keep playing.

Whether you view a problem as “factually true” or “true based on perception” is irrelevant. The point is that the introduction of the deadeye skill has DIRECTLY led to a negative change in the way the game plays. If you take away the deadeye skill, ALL of the problems listed in the video are resolved. If that doesn’t tell you what the solution is I don’t know what to tell you.

Yeah I dunno why he seems to be focusing on that, when even as a non warships player, I can see that it's pretty clear that if 'Battleships keep staying at the back' is a problem with the playerbase, maybe don't add skills which highly incentivise staying even farther back

Perhaps leave the skill in but give a monster increase to detection range, same as with the heavy AP shells? "You want to camp? Fine but now everyone can see you from the moon!" To be fair, I'm a brawling BB player so having all the camping fuckos perma spotted would suit me perfectly but I may be a touch biassed here...

Fluffy Squirrel he says in the video that the knock-offs of the deadeye skill are that people ARE changing the way they play battleships. While that’s true, it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter because any way you look at it, in some way and in some manner, the root of the problem (the deadeye skill) is causing a change in the games play style, that is the problem. The problem is the fundamental change in the gameplay, and the way to solve that is to get rid of the root, which is the deadeye skill.

Pretty much what I said too. That skill is artifically generating bad gameplay, which is a clear sign of bad game design. And yet, to me, it looked like Jingles is trying to actively defend bad game design and blame the players for being bad instead. (Which is also true too tho.)

The CV rework is a better example of what Jingles was talking about then Deadeye. It's effects drastically reduced the effectiveness of CVs yet by public statement every ship spotted is instantly deleted just because a plane sees them. Deadeye just really highlights the forced change in Meta as damage capabilities are constantly ramped up compared to almost no change in tanking ability by anyone.

There are ships, and there are Soviet ships. They can sit broadside and survive, their turrets rotate faster than cruisers', their freeboard is so low they would sink on a lake, let alone sea, but they deal OK here, and they accelerate/decelerate like a light cruiser. But, just to be clear, there is absolutely no Soviet bias in the game, it's just malicious reactionary capitalist propaganda ;)

At high ranges, plunging fire actually gives your Broadside quite a bit of angle, so it´s not the worst, although you still run risk of getting plunging fire into the deck, which, at those distances will usually mean getting citadelled relatively easily, even in german ships. But yeah, he didnt make himself a good target by staying that far back, 2-3 kilometers would´ve helped his team, but the position was decent.

Yeah and not even Dead Eye alone... People were extremely negative about the commander rework. But if you analyze things carefully... the skills and the way you play is very similar to what it used to be. But because people believed new skills changed the game, they changed the way they play.

Now I stay at the edge of my full concealment radius without secondary skills and sniping people with far more accuracy than I used to have. I'd say that is the opposite of my usual playstyle. Something to point out here at 15:10 : In terms of motivation it is very helpful to look for the blame of your own failure in an external source, if you, for example, fail a test and afterwards say "that stupid teacher asked exactly the wrong questions, that was just bad luck for me" then your motivation to learn for the next test on that subject will likely not suffer too much. However if you fail that test and say "I'm not clever enough for this subject, everybody else is way smarter than me", then your motivation will likely suffer very heavily because of your sinking self-esteem and to add insult to injury, you will probably develop fear towards that subject. (If you want you can look that up in a psychology book, attribution of failure/success is a well researched topic) So, Jingles, when you say that the person that first points the finger at himself is incredibly rare, i argue that you are wrong. Because for something entirely optional, like WOWS, if you lose motivation for it you can always just quit, it's not like in school where you somehow have to get through it. That being the case you might be right, that the average WOWS-player will always blame everybody else first, because the people that accept, that it was their lack of ability which lead to failure, will very likely not play for very long. I could add another chapter to this comment about people who always look for the blame in themselves and even attribute their successes to external source (ah, i was just lucky), but those people aren't really relevant since they have a very dangerously dysfunctional motivational self-concept and probably would not be found in game, if they applied that self-concept to it.

The game became 'too bad' for me years ago. And then it seemed to continue it's downfall and now we're here, even though I have no real idea about the extent of the captain skill changes on the state of the game beyond Jingles' videos and the comments under them. I still watch Jingles because he is Jingles, but I probably couldn't stomach the game anymore. I'd probably suck dong at it as well, comparatively.

If dead eye didn’t exist we would not be seeing the gameplay we are currently seeing be so prevalent. So yeah, dead eye is the cause. So in effect it is MORE game breaking than everyone has been complaining because it causes this kind of play to be the norm, not the exception.

Especially because "adapt or die" basically means play a sniping BB, kiting cruiser (if RNG favors you) a DD (if you feel lucky enough to not face a competent CV) or a CV. He's right about one thing though, it doesn't really matter how good deadeye really is or not, while it's perceive as busted, more than half of every single team is going to be BB, which is going to dictate how people can and will play, and if nothing else, it promotes passivity over everything other strategy, because the first one to blink in a standoff is dead.

Most battles I'm in, honestly. Half the team will be heading to a cap point, so that's where I head. Next time I look they're halfway across the map while I'm getting stared down by half of the other team. More than once I almost quit a battle over it, but remembered that you get penalized if you leave a battle early, even after your ship is sinking

Camping BBs are a complaint since I joined the game. Which wasn't too long after the Beta, so basically forever. And I haven't seen those dwindling cruiser counts you're talking about, until just after the rework. Last time I saw a major change in fleet composition was after the CV rework. So I do see a pattern, here. Now, is Deadeye promoting a bad way of playing the game? I dunno. It might very well be WG giving the players (of camping BBs) what they desperately want (better accuracy while camping). That may very well be smart. Or destroy the game. But since I've heard the cries of the game being destroyed so very often already, I'm gonna ignore them. I'm also keeping the secondary brawling scheme on my Kurfürst, because I like it. No deadeye there. I don't need it at the ranges I'm going for and I'm trying to find ways to get to those ranges with enough health left to do my thing. But that's just my way of doing something I enjoy instead of wasting my time complaining about something nobody forces me to have anything to do with.

Dead Eye alone would be bad enough, but it is Dead Eye on top of overmatch that really makes anything but sniping in a battleship pointless. Cruisers can’t do anything. Bow tanking doesn’t help, open water maneuvering doesn’t help, you get spotted, focused, and killed.

@@Bohdisattva326 It's hard to untangle where WG started to go wrong, but they keep stumbling down this terrible path. Nobody liked the HE spam meta and how BBs were basically floating tinder piles. But rather than tweak fire mechanics, rather than tone down HE, they just made BBs more potent on attack. There, problem solved.

He doesn't have to convince ME, I only took the "sniper" build on 2 lines, Yamato/Musashi and the slow/new US ones (which I still find extremely boring). I'll try a similar build on the Conqueror/Thunderer, but all others I kept on tank builds, which was (and I hope will remain) my favorite play style. I played like 20 battles with German high tiers lately and they're not less effective brawlers (in some situations may be even stronger), but it's harder because you get focused a lot more from long distance and armor angling doesn't do much against more shells chipping away your HP with superstructure pens.

Jingles, I think you also forget the ships that shore as sh*t don’t have the range to shoot 20+ km out and are forced to get close ( no not referring to DD’s ), the Belfast 43 for example. Those type of ships are forced to get close and then as a result to the current nonsense get focused and killed without getting the chance to be useful to the team

Yeah, I have no clue what he's even on about with this, or why he's defending it.. I don't play the game, so all I really have is Jingle's opinions on it.. in which.. as you say, he's repeatedly complained about Battleships staying at the back. Now they release a skill which incentivises it.. and so they start further at the back. Like, the argument over whether the skill is so good that it's done it, or just public perception of it which has changed the meta seems a moot point. The addition of the skill clearly *did* cause it, and.. like, why would they add that skill in the first place? Of course it would incentivise that type of play Jingles seem to be missing the forest for the trees, it feels like. Focused entirely too much on 'is this skill actually doing a thing' and less on 'The skill got added and it clearly caused this, by its mere existence'

Well I suppose haven't factored in that it also applies to the depth of the shot, not just from left to right, so point taken. 😄 Still, it's not really my style to play all the way in the back, except maybe with the Yamato. Although it varies even with that ship wether I'm forward or more to the back. Perhaps I'll have to consider it on that ship if few people are pushing anymore with their BB's. 😉 Time will tell.

As for the last point Jingles made (never got to finish watching the video until now), it was the same in the past, and it will continue in the future, with or without the Deadeye skill. Sometimes most of the team will go down one flank and few or none the other. That was the case long before the resent Captain skills overhaul.

Yep, also, people saying tanking needs 14 skills. No inverse, Deadyeye build needs 14 to get you concealment skill, cause alot of BB’s still have large ass detection radius. A tanking build ain’t gonna give a crap about that. My strasbourg most certainly doesn’t.

Just had an amazing match with Kurfürst yesterday, every kill got stolen, but I brawled a Tipitz first, then a Montana and Thunderer at the same time and ended up getting 249k before burning to death because of the BS Thunderer HE. 431 secondary hits^^ Who said secondarys are useless? They basically did 100k by themselves, fires included :D

When the dispersion is an ellipse and one skill improves the vertical dispersion by 10%, the effect tends to multiply. The actual improvement the skill provides is close to 20%. PQ just posted a great video illustrating how Yammy made a misplay by getting within 22km from Thunderer.

"-10% dispersion" _actually_ means your guns will have 19% smaller dispersion. This is because the number quoted is for the horizontal dispersion alone, but the shape of the dispersion ellipse doesn't change, so you need to square the number to get how much the area actually is reduced. If your dispersion is reduced by 10%, the _area_ of the dispersion ellipse is reduced by 19%. In other words, if you did 100k damage by staying in the back before, you might do as much as 123k now (=100k/0.81). That is not a trivial change.

It is not as simple as saying that if you did 100k damage on average, you will do 123k now. Just the fact that everyone will be playing more passively, might mean you do less damage on average compared to before, because there are fewer good targets. Also, if you are pushed, you dont get any benefit of the skill, so there is that as well. Also, since all other factors remain unchanged(angle of attack, amount of shells, armor, etc.), shells can still bounce, miss or only overpen. If you fire 9 shot, just because you have an improved chance to land on target does not mean it will deal any damage(or even hit). It helps, sure, but it is not so simple an equation. Also, if the number quoted is for the horizonal dispersion alone, are you sure that the ellipse is unchanged? What if the vertical dispersion remains as is? Are you sure that the dispersion "-10%" is for the radius of the ellipse, or for the total area? I havent read the patchnote in detail, just trying to make conversation.

@@fendelphi Yes, I'm sure. Check out the fitting tool or test it in port: the quoted number is for horizontal dispersion. (the fact that the effect is so large is also why you can notice it visually) You're right that I'm making a simplification. In the limit where you were spamming HE and already hitting and damaging with all shells, the difference would be nil.... though if you were using AP and hitting every shell, you could still have some regular hits promoted to cits. In the limit where you were hitting only a very small number of shells, the improvement would tend towards 23.46%. Personally, I only have about 30% hit ratio with my battleships (which isn't actually that bad compared to most players), so I will be closer to the "few-hit" limit than the "many-hit" limit. Obviously though... if you miss due to poor aim, my take is no longer valid. Bounces or not won't matter for this, since it's a per shell chance. If every shell has a 50% bounce chance, it's still better to hit more, since it gives you more "lottery tickets". Same with shatters. And yes, if all ships move correspondingly further apart, you won't necessarily see a difference from before the rework... but you would notice a clear difference if you tried playing without the skill.

You make an extremely good point that I have also noticed. In cruisers you simply have to be a lot more patient. You have to wait for the right moment to push rather than try to claim the momentum and let that carry you.

I find that thunderer is a far worse problem than just dead eye, thunderer without dead eye is still more cancer for the game than any other T10 BB WITH dead eye. combined with the nerf to secondary builds, and the absolute gutting of tank builds, its not a big surprise that nobody is pushing. Meanwhile, WG makes a disgustingly powerful ship in the thunderer, refuses to nerf it because "its a premium", then reworks the game to heavily incentivize its specific play style, making it even better than it already was, then removing it from the store creating a massive influx of new thunderers due to FOMO buys... Community literally called this shit back when the rework was first revealed back in September/November (whenever the hell it was).

You're right as far as doctrine was concerned. But look at WWII and the naval battle of Guadalcanal. USN & IJN battlewagons and cruisers fought several engagements at knife fighting range. Reminds me of these wows games.

The deadeye skill. Because historically battleship gun accuracy has always been improved by not seeing what they are shooting at and having enemy ships' positions reported to them via radio from a ship that can see the target. Right. :P

Well, this IS World of Warships. Remember, you can INSTANTLY put out multiple fires, multiple floods, restore operation to engines, steering, guns and torpedoes...but then you need to take a breather for a minute or two. Or carriers that can print new planes, AND somehow provide skilled airmen to crew them somehow. Or non-IJN destroyers that can fire more than once per launcher. Or ships that are fully operational right down to 1 hit point, at which time they can be sunk by being hit in the smokestack by a random destroyer armed with shitty cannons that would likely be found on a tank destroyer.. They could put a mechanic where a ship does a loop-de-loop into the air to avoid torpedoes and I'd go, "meh, sufficiently historically accurate for WoWs".

WoWS used to be my favorite game period, hands down. I used to look forward every night to the small window between work/adulting/putting kids to bed and me passing out to get in a few matches. With in the last two years I have tried to drag a few new faces into the game to put some shells down range. But they all say the same thing "This is boring as F$#K!." and I cant argue with them. It gets worse with every major patch. I do not know which player base they are listening to for feedback for these changes.....but I have never met them. I have not played a match in over 3 months because, IMO, they are destroying this game chasing worse decisions after bad.

This was a great video. It's true what you're saying Mighty Jingles. I mostly play the console version (World of Warships Legends) and that version I've noticed a change in the way people play that game and I've even mentioned where the problems are coming from but I get shot down because too many people believe it's not an issue and the game play changes because people don't see the issue. This also carries on to the new players of this game who learn from the "experts" or experienced players of the game and the cycle continues.

While in terms of damage they are not as effective, it is nice that your secondary guns will fire at anything they can. They often act as an alert to a ship you didn't notice yet, and still act as a deterrent to most people who get close enough.

@@KarliburYT I disagree they made the meta by this ships they have produced then reinforced it with the capt skill rework. The thunder is the most powerful BB in the game rightnow. I watched one take out a yami in six salvos and the yami never got within 21K. They have nerfed secondary BBs, they have buffed cruisers HE. So why would anybody push. Oh they have made this meta and reinforced it with this patch.

@karlibur I... have to reluctantly agree. It is the players who create the meta. The sniping meta has been a thing on the SEA server for years before the rework. But players don’t really have the power to change the meta once it goes in a certain direction. You are always going to have players who do whatever the most effective thing is. And right now, the most effective thing is to hang back and not get killed. People in the video tried to challenge that, and died. They tried to tell BBs to move up and support (they were still @$$es about it), and failed. There is no incentive for players to change the meta, regardless of the fact that we made it, or if we think it was stupid. By changing mechanics, WG can change the meta, or at least facilitate players to change it.
