Woah!! I started watching this and then heard my name, so stoked to finally make a Jingles video 0:58 ….. Will see how bad the old man roasts me in this…. may regret having sent this in….. Edit: I play very average, only just got a 50% win rate, I play too aggressive, but just have fun, and I did comp that BB as well, he was awesome. This was one of my all time favourite games, felt good to get lucky and get the win.
The Sims was part of a preorder bundle on sale during closed beta. It came with the Gremyashki(spelling?) and the yubari. It was the beginning of the bundle hell of early warships.
Jingles, you are correct, the Sims was sold during the closed beta phase as one of the options for getting a beta invite - I bought it at the time because of your video

He watches in the recording software preview window, so it's small. I don't know why he doesn't do the commentary live/with a larger view. The mistakes definitely drive engagement, but somehow I don't think that's planned.
Loved sailing my Sims way back in the day. With it's maneuverability I never once got cross dropped by the old RTS CV's. Back then it also had decent AA. Was the go to pick for doing Operation Dynamo when Gallant was released.
@@crisisgear wrong, wg promised not to make the 3 beta access ships to be available for sale for a whole year. The other 2 came back a year later but not gremyashchy because it is too strong.

"he doesn't know where the Jervis is" you mean the ship that was visible for more that 2 minutes and the camera panned right over it... glad there isn't a drink game for every time you get something wrong...
Awful play from the Sims. Fails to hold his torps for better opportunities (e.g. caricciolo after he had dealt with the mahan thus tipping the game in their favour) Fails to commit to the C cap earlier (dithers for a 90 seconds at 6.10) fails to assist his teammate kill the Nagato (didnt holds torps again. Spams shots over the island advertising his location doing absolutely no significant damage), thus making his torps paramount in the Nagato's mind), Gets detected, continues to fire, Runs into an island and continues to fire, Gets his ass saved by teammates that can think and breathe, gets lucky positionally for an *AT BEST dubious win 4/10 - mediocre
Welcome to WOWS 2024. Not a game I would have send in myself, as it falls in the category of feeling passible or downright horrible depending on the mood of the playsession I am in. Nothing against you, boyd, because it is so clear you needed to make lemonade out of lemons, but this used to be a pretty middle of the road game before WOWS got crowded by windowlickers and people frustrated that life isn't providing them a healthier alternative to spend their time.
