Jingles! This is Malakesh. I just want to say thanks so much for featuring my game! I was actually feeling a bit down due to some RL stuff and this just flipped all of that around and absolutely made my day! I'm going to consider an early birthday present actually since mine is a few days from now. This game was an absolute blast to play and I have to give props for the yugumo who basically kept the shima spotted for most of that game and that was really the biggest threat for me. Um Jingles, real quick. The Vermont and Minnasotta have the unique feature of having their torp belts go ALL THE WAY UP THE SIDE OF THE SHIP. Which means people that shoot you tend to get alot of "Torp protection hit" which means those shells do ZERO damage to you.

Since the great copyright apocalypse has prevented you from using it, you should submit a community request to your fans here on RU-vid and on your discord, for people to make their own kraken unleashed animation that you can use, copyright free! There are some wonderfully talented people out there, and who knows?

As to the Kansas, it's problem is that the shells don't have explosives in them. They're filled with disappointment.

After 60-odd battles with a winrate of over 80%, I decided to sell it and never play it again. It can only go down from there, as that was clearly an anomaly (usually, I am just over 50).

@@Ned-Ryerson don't blame you. My average is 57% also the only tank I've gotten a pools medal with. Honestly it's a tank that get very heavily underestimated and it can be used to quite the advantage, and it absolutely dominates in my experience when top tier and can relatively handle it's own even if bottom....the problem is just it's turtling speed...the time when you can use it's dpm require you to normally be at the Frontline as the battle begins because odds are by the time you get their your team had either A. Killed everything or B your team is entirely dead and while you can brawl decently it's just such a death sentence...the bond turbo and other similar things pretty much remove it's only major problem imo but still it's definitely no powerhouse lol

speaking of bad tanks, I really enjoyed the 59-16, especially back when it had that 76mm autoloader with crap pen. it was a blast to drive and had good mobility for its time.

The way to play any excessively slow ship is to set full speed ahead and hope you get to the battle before it is over.

Where you spawn will be a determining factor. Malakesh was fortunate to spawn near the center of the map rather than out on one flank or the other and made intelligent use of that position. I usually get spawned well out on one flank or the other when driving my New Mexico and end up as a low scorer simply due to lack of targets, despite setting my throttle to Flank and leaving it there.

Oh dear Jingles. I can't let that one slide: A piece of art, such as Kylie Minogue song or a transformer movie, cannot ever be "objectively bad" because "bad" in this context is not a quantity that can be measured and compared. It is a value judgment and determined entirely by personal taste and societal norms. So if a lot of people like Kylie Minogue songs, well then gee, I guess that means means Kylie Minogue songs are "not bad". No, I don't like Kylie Minogue either, but I will never be so arrogant as to pretent my personal tastes speak for everyone.

I'd go further and say that "societal norms" don't come into it. It's a subjective value judgement no matter how many agree with it or how it is enforced in society. Even if everyone agreed that green, say, was the most beautiful colour that would do absolutely nothing to render it objective truth, and even if all parents indoctrinated their children into it that would make no difference at all. Objective reality is that which is not true by virtue of human belief or preference, whether those be individual(personal taste and the like) or collective(societal and cultural norms etc).

9:07: He didn’t fire at the Petropavlovsk. He wasn’t locked onto anything, and the Petro was decelerating out of reverse, so aiming in front of him wasn’t going to do any good. He was aiming at where the momentarily spotted Shimakaze had been heading. And he got about 1000 damage from two overpens on the Shima.

The grind up to Vermont was perhaps the most frustrating experience I've had this century. I sold them all, it was with a great big sardonic smile that I relegated Cholerado, K*ntsass and Minnisoda to the realm of digital oblivion. The only objectively bad thing about the Vermont is that you can not disengage in random battles and you can't engage in coop battles because by the time you get there, everything is dead. However, you know up front that she's slow. As long as you play her as a semi-mobile floating fortress, it's fine. You know, like a battleship, not an island-humping stealthninja, and pray the fit girls on the other team show you some ankle or lacking that, some broadside. Then it's in the hands of RNGesus.

I stopped playing that ship as every time i did i got a Franklind D Roosevelt on the enemy team, and at 23 knots you get left behind and harvested!!! But nice to see a good result in the lumbering sea snail!!!
