An absolute useless battleship doing absolutely nothing, got chase off by a tiny destroyer, sink by being bitch slap by tons of aircraft while have dog shit AA crew At least Bismarck piss off the British by destroying their pride ship
Really like these tech tree over views, especially when we see the ships in the dry dock!! In your opinion do you think War Gaming will do a British Battle cruiser line, or a British T10 premium G3 class ship?
Nice video. But during the Tier 6 portion you brought up Tier 4 competition twice. Unless you face someone in division with a T4 you never face them at all.
I loved this series. I already own all the gems of the IJN BB line (Mikasa (coughs), Ishizuchi, Kaga, Fuso, Mutsu, Nagato, Amagi and Yamato) but I can only nod to the things you've said in this and the first part. It is cool to see this IJN BB review and droll over these fine warships :) Next series featuring the german BB line perhaps? :D
I don't know why people fuss over the Izumo, in my experience she performs very well. Bow is practically immune to incoming direct fire (not plunging fire) and facing the enemy is the primary directive of the Izumo.
Because plunging HE fire is the current meta, and Since Izumo's guns are the same as Nagato's, she's underwhelming. Average less than Amagi but double her average damage in Yamato. Not a good ship for her tier
Nagato is an irony ship, she could easily citadel other ship and could be citadeld easily, if your aim is right, you can finish off a fuso at ~60% health in 1 salvo
12:00 Well actually... There's this slight possibility WG will implement the HMS Furious battlecruiser, which, in its original configuration (before 1925 refit to CV) had two turrets with *single* 18" gun each. I don't know if it would be badass or absolutely demented in WoWs, but certainly original :D
@@toenailmuncher0772 I don't, always wanted one, kept lots or other reptiles though. My name comes from my initials GEK (hence the spelling 'geko' and not 'gecko'
Look I'm sorry to dump this on you, but my baby gecko, tigger died today. It was fairly quick and she didn't feel any pain. I just feel so hurt on the inside and I need to tell someone to cope with the pain I feel.
Kii might actually come, there's been talk for a long time about the possibility of WG splitting the Japanese line into battleships and battlecruisers, as of now it's a mix (Myogi, Kongo, and Amagi are all battlecruisers), as there were other types of BBs yet to be used (Kii, Tosa, Ise, etc)
Okay Guys, I'll point out that Mutsu is a Nagato-class Battleship. I do yell out "They're the same class!" when I heard Notser said "It's basically a tier VI Nagato." But, historically, did Mutsu and Nagato had significant differences that would indeed make it justifiable that someone would've thought that they're different classes? And I didn't mean to make Notser sound like an ignorant person or anything, I'm just trying to address the elephant in my room..
Personally, I believe that the Yamato's strength comes from it's horizontal dispersion and godly 2.1 sigma on it's guns. Overmatch is situational; accuracy is not.
I attempted to play Yamato without expert marksman....wow, even the slightest course direction and you've already left the gun traverse a second or two behind. Almost odd how much slower it is compared to Izumo.
Are you sure about the over pen in the front with hittin the Fer De Grobe for example, sure it has 32 on the upper & lower front, but there are 2 sections of the bow, left & right, that are plated to i think it was, 135 mm. I only just got my own Yamato 2 days ago on the EU server, when it was on the cheap (Bypassed the Izumo with the free exp i had, so i used about400K i think it was) so far iv only played 1 game with it, but i seemed lacking with the accuracy & ANY form of over pen unless it was on a DD, the damn shells just werent playing ball.
Notser, I am new to the channel, will spread the word. we are alot of new people getting into the game, could this be something you can do for all nations/lines. so we can get some more general info about ships before we grind ?
Hey Notser. PLEASE READ THIS!!! :) Could you please add the sigma values next time to give an idea about the gun dispersion of the ships? Sigma value is realy really important. Fuso has a lot of guns but it feels like firing a scatter gun. Nagato has less guns but she has more reliable and accurate guns. Sigma of fuso is 1.5 and Nagato"s sigma is 2.0, which is much better :) keep up the good work.
Btw for people who don't know they recently nerfed Yammys AA defense from 70 to a pathetic 53 or some shit it's really stupid don't know why they did that.
Personally I think the Yamato is a double edged sword, you can do high damage against targets yet if you show broadside, you will get punished *_severely_*
i have a 4K monitor now, but its not easy to play, because the GUI dose not scale. The text in the chat window is extremly small. Is there a way to scale it?
Playing the Nagato and looking for a bit of advice. I have the thing fully upgraded, but every time I run into an Amagi, I'm kind of lost at what I should do. Even when aiming at center of mass, I seem to bounce off, shatter, or over pen with AP. Are there any tips on how to deal with this? Note: I am running w'out modifications cause I'm cheap.
The Mutsu does not belong in tier 6, she has the HP of a tier 7 BB, better guns than most tier 7 BBs and even better torpedoes than the tier 7 Gneisenau ... She is insane
Actually doesn't make much of a difference they do the same thing just as effective as each other and yashima is basically yamato only difference is the gun size
I um... I find that the Yamato tends to do better at range when fighting at GK. If you want to brawl a GK, you WILL lose. Its guns traverse almost twice as fast and fire faster too, not to mention he has more of them and... well... that turtleback armor means you aren't getting those precious cits like you want. I'm scared of nothing in my GK. Against another GK I'm worried depending on who is sailing it, but overall, the Yamato is better at range.
German BBs: Accuracy Soviet BBs: Best gun American BBs: Best AA British BBs: Best speed French BBs: Best Underwater protection Italian BBs: Best reliability Japanese BBs: Best Armor Yamato: HAHA! You make me laugh! i have all that... except AA...
Chaos Craft999 Soviet BBs? As soon as the Soviet Union was formed they stopped commissioning battleships. And Italian reliability? Italian machinery would fail at any chance it had. If the Italians were known for something, it's their unreliability
Should have grinded battleships , I have a Bayern and New York but really my main line is the chapayev and I should have started with a battleship cause T8 man imagine the crazy damage
How do you know which armor thickness can be penetrated with certain gun caliber? Can I read that somewhere or am just stupid and I did not notice it in the game? :D Cheers
You ruined my hope they would eventually introduce more of the mythological "H" series German BB's with their 19" and 20" guns. I didn't know they put a hard stop at 18 inches.
18.1" (460mm) is the limit Wargaming has arbitrarily set. Thus, H-41with 16.5" (420mm) guns is the biggest we get for Germans, and that's the Tier 9 German battleship.
you should do some new reviews Notser lot of these became irrelevant because of the nerfs and patches and etc. for example nowadays the nagato has an absurd dispersion and at long rang practically useless
