stupid IS normal,most people dont have a clue about most things..angeling,priority targets,consealement on other ships,what ship has radar and what dont,weakspots,when to use ap and when to use he,understanding the minimap-most of theese things r unheard of for about 70% of the players

Sadly this is true, too many bad players have zero self-insight. Blames everyone else, when most of the mistakes are done by themselves. And they never learn, even after 16 000 battles, because they keep calling people hackers and campers....instead of reflecting on what they could do different.

That's the only reason he would come out and make that crazy turn. What he should have done is come in from the other side and get him dead to rights. He might've still have a set left but got destroyed on the way into the cap. Charging cap like that is dumb though - coordinate with your teammates or just camp and wait till you have two points. There was no reason to charge him

To be fair, he farmed 13 of them on a broadsiding Venezia and Thunderer. Thats not to hard. But yeah, these guns are of the charts.

I often wonder if some of the people playing these coal and steel ships are playing on someone else account!, because it takes a lot of time and experience to get these ships. I was up against a guy in a Somers recently in my Daring and he kept trying to hit me with wide spread torps, and I thought how does such a bad player acquire such a good ship?

It's funny, when the Yamato came around the island, I was thinking "perfect time for torps", then I realized (not being an expert on the new Russian cruisers), he doesn't have torps.

PC and Console are probably different, but there's a good reason for camping outside the cap circle on consoles. WoWSL often sets up incentives which encourage players NOT to work as a team. The "daily boost" missions, for example, routinely include something like "Get 10 capture, assist, or defended ribbons". Sitting outside a cap circle can clear that in a single match with 10 Defended ribbons - getting 10 Capture ribbons can take forever. Same thing goes for "Set fire to 10 ships" - and you'll see ships sticking with HE when they really should switch to AP. In short, if you are trying to clear the daily or weekly boost, winning a match is often irrelevant.

@@DJVC1985 I think what he was trying to say was that when Jingles stated that it wouldn't have to traverse 360 degrees when changing targets from the port side to starboard, any gun that would need to traverse 360 degrees to change target also wouldn't take any time, as if you did traverse 360 degrees, you'd just end up back where you started.

Obviously he meant more like.. 270 ish. Depends on the ship and the angles allowed but if you’re angling and not giving broadside and you switch tacks while advancing that’s roughly what it is. On a ship with good firing angles can be 300.

Of course he does. Probably grinding the coal in some tier 6 or 7 ship and thought he knew everything. Except he doesn’t and goes full regard in a tier 10 game. There’s two cruisers you never give broadside to if you can help it and one of them isn’t Russian.

Nah, in brit light cruisers you die immediately if you get looked at. Came across a mino once in puerto rico. Killed him in 1 salvo. Have been citted many times in mino to accurate fire into smoke.

@@yann9915 thats the thing about brit CL. People assume 1 of 2 things: 1 that they take no skill, you just spray ap at people while you hide behind an island, and 2, that they die ridiculously easily... Seems a little obvious when you put the 2 parts together like that right? The skill in brit CL is all positioning, knowing when not to fire, when to cut and run, when to stay at max range and let your maneuverability be your armor vs when to dash in for a fast kill and how to do both. Its like playing an easier to kill gunboat dd, but without the advantage of size, rudder shift, almost unhittable citadel, HE to set fires, and detection range that comes with those ships, but with a ridiculously high damage output potential. Despite all that, I genuinely love the ship. Well aimed salvos can take up to 6-10k off of a battleship at 17km and there are only 2 or 3 ships that kill dds faster. They are my go-tos for ranked at almost every tier. I keep the emerald, edinburgh and mino just for ranked, and have a solid ranked win rate in those ships. So yeah, I would argue that they have a higher skill floor than other cruisers because you have to play more around their fragility than other ships. Their skill ceiling is probably lower because once you figure out how to not die and predict shots, you just go somewhere that you won't die and spray away.

@@squashiejoshie200000 you are very correct in everything that you say; my problem is that with the Russian cruisers, they perform just as well as the British light cruisers in all the British strengths, except they have so very few weaknesses. They can brawl better (due to way better armour and smaller citadels if not giving broadside), survive better (more hp and more armour as well as lower average time to kill enemy due to radar and choice of shell type, and literally just by angling and sitting still no smoke needed lmao), actually set things on fire (and then blap you with AP as well to stack damage). And they even hunt down destroyers better due to having radar as well; They match all the strengths of the British and then some, whilst they only have some of the weaknesses of the British. See my problem here? Take way less skill to do better, taking the enjoyment of skillful ships like the mino away and making them irrelevant in order to win games.
