I might be a bit of a historian, to be honest. At least I can keep my temper. Also thanks for the heads up about German gunnery. I had been debating if the Bismarck was actually accurate as people say or if it is just overhype. But now that you mention it, that solidifies my thoughts on it.

The ranked burn out happened to me in random battles last week, could not win a single battle for days. I had to go to co-op battles just to play without losing it lol. That description was perfect, at least my win rate is still above 60%.

I think I may be a partial historian, i love history and love certain ships but i did have a game were i argued with someone on the enemy team for the hole game about a historical battle(forgot what it was). Reason we had the hole game to argue was we both got first blood on each other

I have a stressful (but well paying) job and figured WoWs would be good relaxation, and I could drop a few bucks to make that happen easier and maximize my downtime. YIKES!! Part of my job is using critical thought to make good choices, so after a few weeks of abysmal showings, I sent my dumbass back to Tier 1 and am now learning the game properly. I will say that having the false start did give me a lot of food for thought, and many specific things I can work on with specific intent now. Thanks for all your videos, they are part of the process.

I was in Perth and I quote Capt Hector Waller ' Kick me if anything happens' and there I was, sitting behind an island reading Rising Sun Falling Skies not paying attention until the our carrier bombed me. And then I was shot at by enemy BB's.

Another one: Captain Clicker. Frantically spams literally any of 100 possible coordinates on the map throughout the game (flushing the chat window as a convenient side effect), yet completely lacking any meaningful intention or information going along with it.

I routinely div up with an historian. And I thought you summed him up accurately. Don't get me wrong, he's a solid guy, dependable and mostly fun to play with, but there are times that I just want to strangle him...

Am I still a backstabber if I do not torp from behind friendlies, have slow torps that go far, and somehow a friendly destroyer manages to intercept those torpedoes? I've had this happen a handful of times when torps have been in the water for well over 20 seconds and it still baffles me

the only time I have ever accidentally torped a team mate I was launching from behind an island and i saw he was going away from the track of the torps. But no sooner had the torps left the tubes I could only watch in helplessness as he inexplicably turned his destroyer 180 degrees and proceeded to come out from behind the island just in time to eat 3 of the 6 torpedoes.

Don't forget the player in co-op that demands the team stop shooting at the ship he is farming for secondary hits for a directive as if everyone else there isn't doing something for their own directives.

You forgot about the flamu player A flamu player is player who is a pro and can win 1v7 and carry your entire team but enjoys the weeb material.

another player type the "Bargainer" he's a "man on a mission" who is trying to complete a mission or campaign, at the start of battle he would state his need to get X amount of hits, damage done to him/enemies, ships sunk, asking the enemy team to grant him this wish, but in exchange the enemy team can sink him, or better yet, take advantage of the opportunity to make progress on their own missions. Usually when a Bargainer shows himself, others follow suite, and a mostly friendly conversation between opposing ships ensues.

im usually the guy who compliments everyone in the match, enemies or allies, one of my teamates could potato damn hard by going broadside to 5 other ships and i'd still commend them. because at least they tried :)

Recently I launched torps, and a dd turns I to my torps and popes smoke and stopped in front of them. I tried to warn them, but they wouldn’t move, nor did have anyone shooting him. I know I shouldn’t of launched them, but I was going to hit, hoping he would notice them, and not turn into them and if he didn’t notice he wouldn’t just stop and rest in front of them.

I grinded my way up to multiple Tier 9s...I dont know what Im doing at all xD But thats fine, thats why I like PVE games. I can just have fun without some people trying to tell me how to spend my free time in a video game after an 12 hour overtime shift.

The torp and smoke spammer: They don't care about playstyle or helping the team they will just keep spamming torpedos until they are sunk. They are also infamous for spending the majority of the match in smoke and dumping their torps...looking at their stats you can see their favourite ship is the shima.

In your next video, try to put some positive player types in your video. IE the dad, who has a job, kids, and only played on the weekend. The team player of the year (maybe me), who deploys helpful smoke screens, reads the map and spots where there needs to be spotting, and is overall a positive player. Finally, the old man. The old man may not be the best at the game, but he sure has fun playing his battleships. He uses exclamation points in the chat, and tries to make friends with his teammates

Backstabber or, firing ITL torps. You have no idea how many times I have asked how in the world my teammate got in front of my ITL torps when he wasn't even NEAR my firing arc when I fired them.

Rank burnout: the guy whose teams have refused to let him get to rank 1 all 15 something seasons and probably won’t let him get there this season either. Also listen to Ashigara’s voice for one battle, it’s stupendous.

Never torpedo from behind friendly line is a bro code I follow today. You dont ever want to torpedo your bros. It's just a shitty situation that turns that leaves you pink. Worst part if you do it a lot your bros dont want to pick up randoms with ya.

The National Embarrassment - a captain who plays ships as if they were the same class from another nation. Like tanking in a French Battleship rather than a German one, or using pan Asian DDs like German Gunboats. Or hiding behind islands in a British CA rather than an American CL.

I feel that a good rule is that you only buy premiums if you have ground to that tier already (like if you are at T8 on the American BB line you could (if you wanted to) buy a premium T8 BB).

There is a player named StingrayR you find this player in PVP or Vs bots marches who like using battleships that can shoot 26km plus and he can hit a target at that range and doesn't miss and he know where to hit you. There this one time I saw him took out a fully health Yamato with one full salvo then there another time he killed a CV at a range of 32km with one salvo. And just like your number one he like destroyers first you see him at a control point firing tropedos then you find him sinking a battleship and Cv i saw him ninja the entire red team of 12 he was the last one on hes team i wish i recorded it all.

I have been playing off and on since beta, and the last one hits close to home.... already burned out on this season of ranked.

Ranked... I've won 6 of the 7 ranked matches I've played and stopped. I'm at 12 and that will work for me. IMO, I think they should lose the "lose a star" on a loss. It would make ranked far less toxic.

Another Stereotypical player that you can meet, i call them, the chronic down voter. Now the Chronic down voter can be found even in coop games which has far lower stakes than any other mode. They will down vote you even thought you remained silent in chat all game long, killed 6 ship, tanked million damages and supported your destroyer. It could be because you decided to support the destroyer on the left instead of the cruiser on the right, you inadvertently stole a kill with the fire you started 30 seconds earlier on a dying ship. dodged a wall of torpedoes and ended up colliding with a friendly charging strait into the melee or simply because you are an aircraft carrier or play a controversial ship. Or as a Destroyer, you are down voted because you chose to delay capping and made a strategic retreat because of the presence of a destroyer supported by a radar ship and a Smolensk while you are chased by the carrier. Whether you play a little too aggressively with your Kurfurst or a little to passively in a glass canon ship, they will down vote you even thought you are top on the score and won the match. The Chronic down voter are either silent and you only find out after the game finished that you've been down voted, or they yell angrily that they reported you without telling you why. They will find a reason to down vote you no matter how you perform and what action you undertake. In my case, if i see a player yelling angrily that they reported someone without a good reason (team kill, rage in tchat etc) i will give the player on the receiving end of the down vote an upvote to compensate that. As for myself, i can say i am definitely guilty as i used to be a wallet warrior in my earlier days (i was still in tier 5 back then) i bought the Tirpitz because of it's history, I quickly realized in the span of 2 coop match that i was absolutely clueless on how to operate the ship and i started viewing video on youtube to learn the game. Then when i acquired my first tier 8 Battleship, North Carolina is when i truly started to make Tirpitz work. then i evolved into a semi whale in the sense that i would keep my free xp to upgrade to the top hull and convert if necessary to get the top hull and buy quite a few premium ships here and there, especially if it is a ship i actually visited in real life. i thought i was somewhat an historian for ship but i never encountered extreme type you just described. As for the weeb. I bought the Rossiya but not for the Azur lane theme. As someone who like the Sovestky soyuz. I wanted a high tier Battleship to train my other commander. Plus the camo is somewhat tame for a (weeb ship) Also what i like with the and might be contradictory is that unlike other ship. The Rossiya abide by what used to be the rule of premium ships. A slightly weaker version of the in tier tech tree with the trade of of having additional income and being able to move your captain around. As for rank, i avoid that mode like the plague.

Wallet warriors try to weave their Tirpitz torps thru your front line at red ships 16k away.

i think i am a whale player. i know how to play, but grinding up multiple trees is not my goal, so i buy premium ships every now and then. but it's not like i buy every single premium ship to experience the playstyle of different classes from different nations
