World of Warships- Well.....How Bad Did They Screw It Up? 

Cosmetic skin for a ship most people will never have, the moment Enterprise wasn't for sale I lost all interest in this event.

They should've replaced "Set a smoke screen" with "engage cloaking device"

Very very frustrating that the lead product of this promotion, the USS Enterprise skin, is not usable if you don't own the ship. And there is no way of getting it. Who the heck thought that this is a good idea?

A " pretty solid event " ?! Sorry but its quite the opposite. A camo for a ship that isnt available any longer and which cant be achieved with this event. The voice overs arent even close to the original, with Gowron being the worst in my opinion. Also in Warships Legends, the certain ships have different values, names ( like the Fiji being called I.K.S. Bortas and having 30mm armor ) and the Captains have certain specialized perks.

I feel like not enough are talking about how awful the voiceovers are. Only Sela sounds good because they actually got Denise Crosby to do it as far as I'm aware.

So Ironic. Our clan mate ran off to Star Trek a week too soon. He said Star trek was completely different from wows. I said no they aren't, they both have Enterprise. All I can say is keep the Klingons away from Uranus.

I got Enterprise in a Santa container last year, so it's not that it never gets released, just that it's a ship that WG likes to roll out every now and then when they need to get people to cough up some money. I do remember all the videos when it first came out (before I became a player), and yeah, it was incredibly powerful for a carrier. What WG did with it is also why I have mixed feelings whenever they announce they're going to release a legendary ship. On one hand, I might want it because of it's historical importance, on the other, it's almost a certainty to be either a) under powered and a disappointment; or b) rapidly nerfed because of the complaints that it's overpowered.

This is just a hard fail, no Enterprise for sale equals pointless event. Or better yet a way to earn the enterprise through missions or something.

Was excited for two things, Enterprise and Picard. No Enterprise, and Picard sounds like complete crap. Once again WG, thank you for saving me money!!

The Star Trek port is fancy. While clicking through the (turbolift?) doors and other clickables I ended up on a planet's surface. Managed get back on board the enterprise by clicking a shuttle hovering next to my ancient 20th century boat. :P

I also don't like the fact that with this update, WoWS now requires that you share your mail/contacts directory with them so they can sell the data to marketing firms. I use to have Microsoft Store as a buffer, but now they insist on getting our permission to look through the MS wall.

I was waiting on this to have Piccard, but Maybe now b/c of his voice. The most redeeming part of Piccard was his voice, so WG U fked up!

I misread the bundle andI thought I was getting the Enterprise but then I didn’t see it in my dockyard and was super confused until I reread it. I feel scammed 😑

Very odd that CV Enterprise is currently the Campaign ship in WOW Legends along with the Star Trek collaboration but they are not offering it in PC version of WOW,

I made a mistake. It showed the enterprise as a ship as well and thought it was the premium ship. I bought it and ... Woops. No enterprise.

Kirk, Scotty, Uhura, Bones. I know it's next Gen, but I would have gone for that. Scotty with repair and engine boosts specialities; "This jury-rigging won't last" and "The engines, they canna take it".

They should have done the Japanese animation Star Blazers................with the Yamato (Argo). This would have made more sense. The series actually did have WWII ships turned into spaceships. I would have been much more excited!

Only getting the flags in he big bundle is a bummer.

the port is pretty fuggin sweet though. you can click stuff in the background for bonus easter eggs. it's pretty sweet.

I like the "Hey, here is a chance at the Enterprise Skin!" to "Hey, here is a skin that if won, most people wont ever use because....reasons!" Kinda flopped on that one.

could have made Q voice maybe? also where did you got those lootbox? there is nothing in my armory ( but a mission that let you choose between gowron or sela with 6 point as reward)

How do you apply these new camo's? I've got Gowron but no sign of the camo on the fiji.

one thing that annoys me is Picard's Ready Room is labelled Emergency Turbilift. There are no emergency turbolifts on the bridge. There's one that goes straight to deck 8 (the battle bridge) but the label on the show says "Battle Bridge".

Clear to me and probably everyone that the voiceover for Picard is not Patrick Stewart. If it was, I’d get the commander for sure.

I'm a bit confused as to why they're using the Romulan symbol from Star Trek: Picard in the Star Trek: The Next Generation event instead of using the Romulan symbol from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

I hope that after the rework they are doing they release the enterprise for sale again. Been rewatching the old battle 360 videos on the Big E, and man, do it want her badly

im 1 year in on WoW. just a bit under 140 hrs of play so far...my highest tier ship currently is the N. Carolina Tier 8. Have not leveled up any other faction...it would take years to level everything up. which is nuts

When I looked at the list of what all the bundle for 25k dubs cost and saw it was basically all nothing but camos/commanders....I was like "Nope....WAY overpriced for a whole lot of crap"

I got Picard. How can you get the Gneisenau camo, it’s missing to buy unless you buy everything! Oh wait, that’s the WG way.. a chase camo for the gambling crate. The event looks fine but is a FAIL without the Enterprise.

I don't understand why they are so afraid of making a separate version of Enterprise and put it up for sale like with many other black friday ships. It's not even better than lexington after so many changes with CVs. It's a good, fair, but different ship from any tech tree carriers that many people would want to buy.

If you want the good star trek event just go to the console version, we got the enterprise for 2500 Doubs, and two unique ships a 30mm armor Fiji and a gneisanau for the french. Not only that all commanders got strong and unique perks.

This event attracted me to the game so I launched it and I quite like it. I’m interesting in getting the ships but honestly it’s all rather confusing to understand what you get immediately. Feels like you don’t get any before being able to apply the skins and so no enterprise D even if it’s n the bundle? So confusing for new comers :(

That Patrick Stewart 'impression' sounds more like Kier Starmer "Not only should we set up the smoke concealment, but I would go one step further and perhaps even turn the rudder."

It's really funny to me that Spok has all the character and charisma, with unique lines but Picard sounds like AI. When he was one of the most charismatic and best captains in the entire series with fantastic lines and adventures. I believe he even did 17'th century naval warfare in the holo deck. That pretty much instantly made me lose interest in the event and leave the armory. But yeah I agree, cool bridge, crates, the whole art theme is spot on.

Buy camo for unobtainable ship and become captain PickFart. The best on this event is that clickable Entertprise port... you are getting it for free lasting whole update. 6pts captains for finishing mission are those bad "guys". You good ones you need little bit if doubs. Sorry, but Star Trek without Entertprise is real scifi for me. 😅.

I purchased 10 crates. Got Picard, Spock and the Vulcan cruiser skin. Not bad. That's the extent of my investment.

Those fighters look more like old cylon raiders from behind than star trek. BG would make a good next style for them to explore. As for star trek……. KIRK or no one else!

The CV nerfs were one of the most irrational things ever to do by Wargaming

No Enterprise, my wallet remains shut. The answer to overpowered things is not to remove them so only elite veterans can use them to seal club. Rather, the answer is to expand the access so that they become so ubiquitous that people get bored and lose interest.

Isssue #1 enterprise D is a skin for a ship I do not own. Issue #2 no space battles

While your all so upset about the E not being sold, I'd like to point out the E skin is also the only skin not available in the loot crates, you can only get it by directly buying it with doubs or cash. In this way WG have improved, I have skins for ships I can't even obtain from past events.

No ST Enterprise for sale, or at least on containers, -1/10.

They have a captain manning the weapons, that tells it all right there, they just put no effort into this at all.

I genuinely dont think I can be the only one here, but I play boats for boats. I watch Star Trek for Star Trek. If i want to play a Star Trek game, i'll do that, or atleast mod an unrelated game to get that feel. This is just wedging things that have cack all to do with each other together. WOWS barely scratches my itch to play with warships honestly. Adding this crap does nothing to help that and it doesnt scratch the Star Trek itch either. I just dont get it.

But then again Sir Patrick Stewart isn't 47 anymore so he would've sounded like he does in Star Trek Picard and Not TNG.

Makes perfect marketing sense not having the Enterprise available in the event. Rare ships are what drives sales of xmas containers once a year. WG'ing has to be very careful not to kill one of their best cash cows by making the rare ships available very often.

Me raging about the Enterprise not being included in Star Trek event… Only to find out I already have her…plus 27 other premiums I have completely forgotten Damn I spent too much money on this game….

Could you do a video on the difference between Warships and Legends on this event? Please? I feel that the Legends version of this event is better than the Warships version sadly. 😢

I would rather take a 500$ guaranteed bundle than boxes that probably won't give one for 500$.

The only item that interests me in this event is Capt. Spock because I don't care about the Enterprise's alternative look because unfortunately I don't have the ship.😑

Thanks for the review. Haven't played WOWS in months but play STO daily. If the crossover was better maybe I would have logged in but with fake voice overs it's clearly not worth it. I was never a CV main but I did have Enterprise too. Take care.

I love Star Trek, but i dont like it in this game. Me personally, I’m not into the fantasy/crossover stuff. Just me. I got hyped that the Enterprise was coming back. I wouldve paid cold hard cash for it. But all I get is a skin id never use for a nonexistent ship? No thanks. I’ll pass…. AGAIN.

I mean... working my butt off +1000 doubloons on the independence tokens to do what... exactly? Get yet... ANOTHER commander, a free container that'll likely give me nothing that equates to the effort, a skin for a terrible ship to buy a terrible ship at discount? Bluto or Popeye... yet another commander. Gowron or Sela... yet another commander. Do they just... want their players to not participate?

Spock is the closest, but the rest sound nothing like them. I don't get how you think that sounds like Denise. Even if it is her, they must've had her record it on a flip phone or something, because I've seen literally everything she's ever done, and not even close to her normal sound. You can hear her actual good VO work in Star Trek Online. Spock is close, like I said, but the voice actor doesn't have the depth, leaving the VO sounding narrow or pinched compared to Leonard Nimoy. Listen to the 'go to hell' voice line at the end of Star Trek 6 for comparison. There's also a gruffness of an older voice that's missing. Having met Robert O'Reilly many times (I used to con quite a bit), I find it hard to believe that they couldn't have gotten him. IMO, just pay the original actors a VO fee and use existing lines and AI to fill in.

Perhaps they will release a lot of free enterprises during the testing. But very sad to see no enterprise purchase.

I swear, who thought it a smart idea to make this entire event centered around skins, but not include a method to earn or even buy the ships they go to in the first place?! I mean Enterprise has been gone in effect 5 years. It’s probably one of, if not the, rarest ships in the game, and yet they still gate keep what is probably now only an upper-mid tier CV, which only like 15-20% of the games population actually play? And I know the other 3 are Tech Tree ships, but they could’ve swapped some of them out for premiums versions, like swap out Gneisenau for Scharnhorst (which is honestly better). Hell, they could’ve even done what they did with the ARP, Azur Lane & Warhammer ships, and make them unique-camoed copy-pasted versions of the ships their based on, and it still would’ve been better than this.

I liked this event I did go buy the large bundle which I thought was not a bad price I play star trek online everyday and I play WoWs everyday also. I really like the port be nice if they would keep it

WG had to spend a ton of money on this, between the license, port, crate animations, and the art assets. Without the CV being available for the skin, it does not really work for me. I love Star Trek since TOS, but not dropping cash on WG for something I basically can't use.

Thinking anything Kurtzman and company has done to Trek is "good" is your first mistake. 😅

Great idea, but Picard is obviously not Stewart's voice and you can't even buy the Enterprise. What a big waste of an event.

I don't use the Enterprise out of all my CVs she got nerfed into the ground and then some.
