Thanks for the video. How much weight were you towing? Also do you remember the outside temp that day? This video made me feel much better about the mountains. I’m currently pulling my 10k Lb TT cross country and we would like to visit up that way. So far my ‘21 RST 3.0l has been a beast.
A 4WD does not have the towing package to tow 15,000 lbs. You would need the 2WD Chevy Silverado 1500 Duramax to tow anything greater than 9,000 lbs with a 900 lb tongue weight. Maybe you are towing something else besides the 2023 4WD Chevy Silverado 1500 3.0 Duramax. This is what I just purchased and I’ve been studying the specs. I only plan to tow nothing greater than 9,000 lbs.
