Badass. I was wondering when you were going to break a record again. Are you still just doing dips and chins as your main programming to accomplish this, maybe also put on some extra muscle?
He still holds it. He can lift more , but there are specific circumstances and a specific procedure for it to count as a guiness record, this is unofficial
@@jimjim3979 Unofficial? This was performed in a competition. It doesn't get any more official than that. Guinness is a beer brewery. They don't officiate anything. They created a book of records to help them sell their beer. It's not different than Redbull or Monster sponsoring athletes to sell their drinks.
Is it possible to get as much strength as a powerlifter by doing weighted calisthenics?( Weighted muscle ups ,weighted dips ,weighted planche pushups ,weighted handstand pushups)
@George Diaz it has specific difficult rules as Slidis describes in his video for his record. And first of all you can’t do them in V-shaped bars but on parallels. The slightest mistake there makes it impossible to lift the weight you normally do. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eB7LsIzrvK4.html
I'm really confused, on the official Guiness Records site there is a record that belongs to SEIN EVGEN who got 151,65kg in dip, but here is some guy who can do 190kg and there is no official record on his lift. Of course I can be wrong but if somebody can explain this to me I would be very thankfull.
Guinness is a beer brewery that created a book of records to help sell their beer. There's literally nothing official about their records. This was done in a street lifting competition sanctioned by a street lifting federation under said federation's rules, judged by representatives of the federation.
Brother i bought a pull up bar, i can do 10kg for 6 reps, is that good? Also,,, when i do dips i feel pain in the chest, the sternum area, how to fix this?
ive done 61kg for 1 on weighted dips and honestly bro its just the way ur built. get strong at weighted pushups and go as deep as u can comfortably on dips. u dont want to crack ur sternum
He has it. And after 3 times when he was sick and an injury. Watch his video about the successful attempt. Got tonsilits Covid and flu plus an injury: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eB7LsIzrvK4.html
It isn't fake , it's just that for the Guinness record there are very specific conditions under which someones attempt can be qualified for , slidis probably can do more than his 151 record ( he actually had covid when he did it , he could have easily gone for 160 in guiness record rules ,and even more on v shaped plates with less strict positioning of the weights). But this man here isn't lying, and if he tried hard for the official record he might could have broken it . They are both beasts
