I still reckon teaching players the discipline to do an hour of yoga every morning would be more beneficial than anything else available - flexibility, recovery, strengthening, balance, breathing, discipline, focus, and mentality; it's a much more holistic approach proven over millennia, modern sports seem slow to catch on. one of the coaches said they train these three times a week here in nz the rugby union says kids and youth rugby already train too often at twice a week, not really gonna work here is it ? Although i will say if other nations begin to surpass us good on them for promoting the game and providing MORE for the youth.
