From the manufacturers of T motors it is suggested to use max of 6s battery but here they used a 10s doesn't it cause any harm to the motors ?

Just a heads up! The descriptipn states that this is a 2" quad. Obviously this is just a typo but I figured I'd let you know. I WISH 2" quads went this fast haha. Maybe some day!

RC cars still ahead. 202mph for wheel driven. 210mph for non wheel driven - both custom chassis but 170mph just broken by a commercially available chassis 😁 but daaaaaaayyyyyuuummmmmm!!!!!!!!! Awesome 45 seconds. Love the sound these things make. Congratulations on the record!!

You failed! It crashed! I can shoot my drone out of a cannon and claim I have the world fastest drone. If you can’t fly and land without failure, you failed! You can check Chris Draugel break the world record with his 6” chameleon on 6s. The sound it makes alone tells the truth! He makes several runs and lands. Drone still flying strong today.

That was fast at the time, but now we see numbers more like 360km/h if you check quadmovr for instance. My own top speed is 341km/h but that just for 0.2 seconds, not 10 seconds haha but just a 4s battery!

10s seems alittle much thats crazy. In rc cars that weight 15 pounds only need 8s to go into the 160s

We flew MQ-9 Reapers for Homeland well over 450 km/h. And it's predecessor Predator C is more than double that.

This is an old comment but to clarify, they say drone but really mean quadcopter in particular. Reapers are drones but planes not quads, these speeds are not difficult for rc planes.

Joseph Richards Exactly, quadcoptors use a ton of energy just to stay airborn. They dont have wings to give lift. If you hit full throttle on a quad it just goes straight up. A plane can use all of that for forward momentum. Also, quads are NOT particularly aerodynamic but they are faaaar more maneuverable than any plane and have the added ability to hover. In short, it takes a far higher thrust to weight ratio to make a quad as fast as a plane.

There was no previous record. This has been the sole entry. Guinness only stated the minimum to hold the first record would be a speed of 128mph or higher. If you attempt a record that previously didn't exist, you win by default. It's kind of like these people with world records for things like smashing the most walnuts of this type with your forehead only on a tuesday during the second week of an odd-numbered month.

I heard a Customs and border agents were chasing a drone at 14,000 feet that was orbiting their helicopter and was capable of flying in excess of 100MPH over Arizona, shouldnt be that hard to track them down, dont seem like a huge fast drone community

Having trouble believing the "2500Kv motors" 2.5 Million volt motor on a drone. Not buying it.

What a load of bullshit. The numbers don't add up anywhere. 10s on those motors doesn't give 43.000 rpm. More like 100.000 rpm. And trust me, they wouldn't survive or sync. Maybe they mean 5s2p pack but it sure isn't 10s.
