Raz, out of all the people that do speed run cars, you’re channel is the only one I watch. To put it quite simply, you’re content is “A journey worth following “ Everything about your videos is brilliant, your dedication, the way you talk to us all, and your complete transparency in what you’re doing. Funny as hell Keep on keeping on bro ! Love it! Thank you for all the laughs you give us 👊💪💪💪
Holy Shit! Gulp Gulp Gulp Gag Guzzle Guzzle Cream cream Gnawkkkkkk!! COugh Cough!! Thanks for the Tadpoles Raz!! Fuk me, be a Man mate, Not a Little Groupy!
Watching this stuff is inspiring! I haven’t been into the hobby for years until a month ago I started my limitless build because of you Raz. The reality an rc car can move 180-200 mph is crazy.
Thing I love the most is, 5 years ago I had a dual motor mount made custom from Germany by MMM. And in the search for help I found 99.9% of people in the speed world told me it was impossible to make a reliable or even fast dual motor rig. To the point I lost hope and the project is still on my shelf 5 years later. So much negative news was overwhelming. But now I see and love watching you prove the dual motor system is capable of true top speed runs and makes records with it. Thanks you for not given up like did. I will say money had alot to do with my given up because I couldn't afford to blow a system even once and come back to keep learning. Thanks for makes my dreams come true even ho it's not me doing it. ❤❤❤
That's the thing with world records... even when you break them - you have only really given yourself a slightly bigger challenge for tomorrow. I'm not even into speed runs, but your commitment and coverage of your progress has me hooked!
That's so very true. Once you hit your goal you lose interest and move onto something else. But to get an RC car to do 200mph or more is a REAL achievement. But you have the hunger and passion to learning and keep going till you smash that record.
I love learning from someone else's expensive mistakes, lol. But in all seriousness, great job and keep the videos coming. As a motorcycle drag racer, I totally understand the addiction to speed as well the learning curve that goes along with it and yes, I've had plenty of expensive mistakes myself. Being on that edge is where I live and can't help but think of a better way to accomplish my goals. We seem to share that obsession and the thrill that goes along with a solution that works.
If it was easy, everyone could do it. You have done amazingly well and have provided so much value and knowledge back to the community world wide. Plus your products have contributed to others finding their limits. It’s been a fantastic ride
You are close to the holy grail, Raz. And I don’t mean breaking the WR, I mean making engaging and entertaining content that transcends the subject matter which then opens up a far wider audience. Top Gear/Grand Tour achieved it, our friend Kevin Talbot has too as well as channels like Cleetus Macfarland. Good stuff 👍🏼
I think it’s time to extend the wheelbase by a few inches, and worn on a completely new front splitter, something that is a wing to keep the front down, yet something that has low drag. 206mph has been done already by another person on RU-vid, to break records from there, you’ll have to go back to the drawing board and start designing aero parts to help you achieve your goal.
Trust me brother, you’ll get that record. You have the passion. If you get it or don’t. We appreciate you brother. You are doing amazing things for this hobby and you don’t mind passing on your knowledge. Thank you Raz
Your speed run rig bursting in flames...😢 I don't feel bad having mine in pieces awaiting parts. Keep working Raz!: 204mph is possible & you'll break that! Can't wait to see your side project Rlaarlo ak917 build 👍🏾 your passion for speed builds is 2nd to none. Cheers from Pasadena, California
I knew you would smash the record. Yeah, the 200 mph ceiling was Mt everest, but the quality of your builds and dedication we all knew you would eventually get there. No doubt! 300? The moon shot! Love your channel!
Awesome stuff as always Raz. As I've been saying all along, getting to 200mph and over, you come up against the law of diminishing returns. To get that tiny bit more speed takes a larger amount of effort, resources, planning etc. Watching your path to world record territory has been a pleasure.
I’m so happy that you have so much fun doing what you do. In the area where you are now every tiny little thing plays a role, like you said… and what I see missing in the body’s that you are using is a ventilation opening over the front wheels. Like on the latest Le Mans Prototypes. This ventilation helps to keep those cars to stay down with the front. So maybe it’s worth trying that… keep it up Raz!
It really is a beautiful number for that to be the physical case for. Almost serendipitous. I appreciate you saying that ❤ I didn’t know I was interested this much in RC cars, but I’m a big fan of engineering and maths, so a fan of this. Great stuff and very impressive engineering.
Who cares if you break the record 🤷♂️ it’s absolutely fascinating watching the crazy speeds these cars do! I have neither the time or the money to take such a journey but believe me it is just as addictive watching your videos. I get withdrawal symptoms when you don’t post for a couple of weeks!!! You’re living your dream and I love watching! Actually that sounds a bit weird 😂 now I’ve read it back! But I really do check every day to see if you have posted.🤦🏻♂️
Just a thought here, hear me out... I've noticed on speed run cars there's always a lot of weight with the batteries. Wouldn't it be better to have just enough battery for the run? I mean I know nothing, I think the fastest I've ever got out of an RC car is 80mph. Honestly, just wondering...
Keep going once you break it someone will try and possibly break it then you will be on the hunt for more speed like you said its an addiction you will always want more same in the car community always looking for that extra 10th of a second here and there and your making quality parts to help people. Great video and good luck we are routing for you!!
You will be for me a inspiring person, I never regret the day I found this channel. Keep going they day you decide to break the world record for me will be Merry Christmas for me
Most speed pass videos are boring. Yours are fun, informative, and well produced. I always look forward to your next post. Your videos are more than a blip flashing past the screen. They tell a story.
Great message in your quest for a world record in having a goal to work towards that gets you out of bed every morning ready to go. Just remember breaking the world record doesn’t have to be the end because everyone else trying will be doing just as you are now and be drivin to break your record and eventually someone will. It’s up to you to set the bar so high they will absolutely without a doubt know they made an accomplishment when they finally do. Awesome work.
Someone did 214mph with an arrma gt.. some changes will definitely have to be made, and it seems like it’s your tires, esc’s have fried.. and an issue with downforce. You got this
keep pushing beyond world record ! go where no one ever been ! be the innovator ! inspire the best ! ... i do it, in my small specific RC car segment ( freestyle )
Next big upgrade: resurface your speedrun runway with asphalt that is aimed at these rc car's so my guess is smaller particles denser top? I assume the ZOAB roads we have in the Netherlands are way too abrasive and rough for these cars (ZOAB is designed for optimal drainage and can be translated as "Very Open Structure Asphalt Concrete" (zeer open asfalt beton))
Instead of all the lipos in the back, put the esc in the middle and a lipo in front of it and behind it , that should level out the weight, get an on road racing tool that you set your car on and it will show the weight distribution , we use them with on road racing all the time
Regarding your closing thoughts, I think breaking that world record is actually going to be better than being "just on the edge". Here's why. As you said, if you are always just "on the edge", you'll have that constant passion for wanting to create things to help you...but, if you actually break the record, that will put passion in others to try and break your record, which, in turn, will lead you to try and break the record again. And that is what it's all about. 🤙🏼
The Sound of 200+ MPH Raz is just Exquisite to say the least , but man on one of those passes the car got extremely close to you Be safe Brother and The Record is your for sure , but like you said yourself , savior the day and keep getting that awesome rush over and over. 🙂
@@randykirk62 yep thats what shocked me when this run sorta came close to Raz, but for all i know could have been miles off in speed runner terms but still at these speeds some type of bullet proof perspex may be the Go
Absolute dedication Raz, that’s all you have 👏👏👌🏻 Even though things didn’t work out this time I really enjoyed the video as always 👍 Thanks again for sharing.
Raz cmon now! Mr Mc coy is out here making it look easy.. almost every run is a perfect pass 🤣🤣.. as your fans we believe your the best in the business and would like to see you put it all to bed. Much love to you and the guys doing it..
That's was heart Wrenching to see that Raz!! Keep your spirits up man!! You will Succeed!! I believe you will & everyone else does too!! Great video as always!! Much love
Absolutely EPIC--and a superb chassis :-) Striving for higher speeds, do you see ways to use wireless connectivity, onboard sensors and stabilization gizmos, paired with an AI computer-controlled 'driver', to obtain optimal, rapid micro-corrections in steering and throttle to maybe move beyond the current Wall?
I Think your content is Killer Raz !! The only thing i can suggest for the tires would be to Re make the "rims" out of stronger and less flexible heat resistant material that is perforated . Then solid rubber moulded directly to the rim from the outer hex ring all the way around to the inside hex ring . Just a thought !! 🤷♂️🤷♂️
You've got competition across the pond...a one Kevin Talbot is currently constructing a superRC car that will hopefully break 250mph. You know about this guy, we sure do! B💥💥M!
I love your channel mate this is what RU-vid entertainment should be! I know most people don’t have much attention span but I’d love a full build series on this brand new build film it all I’d love every second of it lol😅
Great Run. Could balance the battery front and rear help. Also maybe getting narrower wheels to reduce drag might help. Awesome videos keep driving for that goal.😊👍
