This car build feels like it is the fulfillment of the build that you wanted to make in your heart back when you started the rx8 but with all the knowledge and help that you have gained from jumping into the drift game over the last couple years and surrounding yourself with the right people

I love seeing drift cars with full interiors. I know it's not important, but I think there's just something cool about the extra work that goes into it. Awesome job as always to you and your team!

4:10 I'm SO on board with that very same idea. I want my car to be a "Street daily Race/Drift Machine!" I want all the luxuries of the modern world in it so it's a place I love being even in bumper to bumper traffic sitting for far too long until you can finally let out the clutch (or not if I have the DTC type unit lol) and move the 12 feet to the bumper in front of me. LOL

The DCT is such a good idea, but I am getting skeptical about the GCU. It seems like everyone I have talked to (friend of mine did a DCT on a miata) and everyone I have watched struggles with getting it working properly. Hopefully they manage to get it sorted, but it seems like a really fiddly piece of kit.

Glad you didn’t bridge port it, it still sounds like a mean rotory but it looks like it will be fun to drive on the street with all that midrange power. Think about a low-high boost switch for when you need to feel the extra power in your pocket. Looks like it’s going to give the vette a run for it. ✌️

Is there a video somewhere of how the guys cut and fitted the dash around the cage? I just did this job for the first time recently and it is not at all easy to do, yours is superrrr neat

its progressing nicely. I plan on starting my own dct build after I get my Z to a nice place. Love that you cut the dash to a double din conversion. How difficult was that?

my dude has no hearing protection on with that car, sheesh

put that duty cycle back to 80% for reliability. and ruin a divided 1.0AR hotside, and you will have a better, safer curve. dual wastegates are good to eliminate lag, too. but if he went 40% duty cycle on the injectors, that thing may lean out. p.s. im saying all of this without remembering what injectors and hotside you are running
