I suppose it depends on the Alcohol?, Spirits can last for many, many centuries.......but Liqueurs, like the Kummel are Spirits that have been flavoured with other ingredients (not sure what's in the Kummel?, but Liqueurs can be flavored with fruit, cream, herbs, spices, flowers or nuts and bottled with added sugar), cream wouldn't last long, but perhaps some of these other flavours/ingredients wouldn't stand up to 240 years of existence?..........just a theory............all I know for sure is that insanely expensive alcohol is a scam!
