The new version does quite a good job of replicating the shape, particularly at the back, but doesn't look so much like it from the front (I don't suppose pop up lights are allowed any more), and seems a lot quieter, almost inevitably. Does it still have a Ferrari engine, at least? * Oh, yes it does, I find, a V8 out of an F430.

Me la ricordo come se fosse ieri... In prova speciale scendendo da Perinaldo il rombo della Stratos alla prima Vittoria al Sanremo. E dopo sul Turini con la Vittoria del Drago Munari al Montecarlo. V6 inconfondibile.

PERCHÉ NON LA RIMETTONO IN PRODUZIONE?! PERCHÉÉÉÉ?!?!??! Dopo 4 anni, aggiorno il mio commento... Finalmente hanno fatto una versione moderna della Stratos, anche se non propriamente a marchio Lancia, e per di piú sacrificando 25 Ferrari 360. Comunque, hanno fatti une bellissima rivisitazione a parer mio.

They are all too cool to choose one in 10 seconds. I would fail and go back home on my old bmx bike. : D

Ich persönlich mag den neuen Stratos nicht. Der Charme ist nicht mehr da. Der Sound des Stratos ist Legendär. Ich kann mich noch erinnern das viele andere Fahrer Muffensausen hatten vor dem kleinen Biest. Ich selbst habe auch einen. Und ich muss sagen das er ein brachiales Spaßmonster ist. Ich habe damals einen gefunden, der in einem erbärmlichen Zustand war. Ich nahm mich ihm an. Ich musste mich ganz schön anstrengen um ihn dem Mann damals abzuschwatzen. 5 Jahre dauerte die Restauration. Aber es hat sich wirklich gelohnt.
