Round 2 of the UK ROSSA speed event.
This is the first of 2 video's showing some of the fastest RC cars in the world along with some of my own cars and PB achievements.
I gained some good friends while attending and will definitely return again in the future, this event and the people who attend have contributed to a life long memory to which I will always remember

It was awesome, absolutely no competition at all between people as everyone was just out to do their best aswell as helping out, it definitely took me by surprise as things like this normally cause rivalry and ultimately arguments.. A great bunch of people to which I’m sure I’ll meet again 💪

Hey Raz, thanks for watching and the positive feedback 👍 Most of the video was shot using my iPhone 13, including the footage at the beginning. My gopro stopped working on the first dry day so I had to ask people to record most of my passes using the iPhone 13, more to come in second video.

Strong winds really effect speedruns. This is why the FIA's rules are designed to minimize the luck of the wind by doing back-to-back runs in opposite directions. This also negate the effects of slope so we really know that it was car and driver that were fast not so much on relying on venue and weather.

Wind was blowing sideways snd sometimes at an angle towards the cars, never once from behind st this event. Sever crossed wind! Not a head or tail wind.. you can see the wind sock in the video when I check wind speed with device 👍 Thanks for watching

Thank you buddy, I had the shell with me but unfortunately due to having no runs on Friday I wanted to concentrate on getting my 175 hate 👍 If I don’t get back next year I’ll definitely get back the year after and I’ll have the blue barrel with me 👍

I agree, but unfortunately I wasn’t expecting the wind and normally don’t have a problem. Unfortunately the wind cancelled out the sound of the cars also 😌

Awesome event!!! I have to ask why do they put a fence on the runway 🤔 3:02 That makes zero sense to me but maybe there's a good reason!?!?! lol

Definitely a great weekend just unfortunate regarding the weather m. The cat 5 cables are running along that area so they want to do everything they can to protect them, if they break then the event using traps is over 👍

@@audiquattrojamie I'm talking about the fence at the end of the runway, I perfectly understand the other fences are for safety but the fence at the end is pointless lol

@@EJ-74 yes the fence at the timing traps, the fence is in the LHS Of the traps and that’s where the cables are so the fence is there to protect cables 😊

It’s grand, that’s not my actual phone, I have several phones which I use to record different angles and this is one of them. That code is just on that one phone which doesn’t have a sim in it as it’s just to record footage.
