Crazy how just 3-4 years ago this guy was using a hot glue gun to install ricey LED interior lights on his Miata and learning how to install a turbo kit.

The real crazy thing is the progression from the beginning, and all the iterations that the car has been through to now. Plus how Gingium has progressed as a person through building all his cars, and this is probably his most ambitious and greatest achievement.

id heavily upgrade that transmission at some point. Maybe a Upgraded gearset, 6 speed from an sti which would be great for rally racing, 08+ 5 speeds are stronger then the previous ones too edit: awesome build tho regarldess. i drive a 11 wrx hatch so to see an EJ with a much lighter body then mine makes me jealous me

I cant remember if you said anything about it but a back bumper i think would help clean up the rear, maybe a bumper cut, but it would help lull air into the radiator and possibly generate downforce from pulling the air from under the car to the top?

Man that car sounds awesome! For the bus door, check to see if you can replace it with a RV door, will be better insulated too. I know for house doors they can custom fit them, wonder if RV shops can custom make RV doors too. Worth checking. Probably not exactly cheap though, probably like a grand.

Originally, I subscribed for the content on turbo Miata build, stayed for the mini bus build, fell in love with the drift truck build, and now I wanna be a RU-vidr to build stuff like the rally Miata build... I can't wait to start building mine! And also, I love how you had to slow down a little bit when you said, "The Drive Shaft Shop axles are in..." 😂

I've done a lot of long distance towing and I can tell you, you have to change how you drive when it comes to braking. It takes easily twice the distance to slow down so you have to be more aware of that and plan to brake well in advance - truck drivers have to do this and if they can't that's why they have big crashes, trucks (and adventure buses when towing) don't stop anything like a normal vehicle. Also, using fuel doesn't go away with different gearing, yes it will help to be at low RPM but what matters more is throttle - if there is a gear that allows you to use half throttle at high RPM and a gear that makes you use full throttle at low RPM, the gear at half throttle will be better for fuel economy. Also, slowing by 5 Mph may take longer but will make massive difference to how much fuel you use. In a vehicle with poor aerodynamics, the slower you go, the less fuel you will use, its that simple. Towing is a balance of time and distance - speed should not be the constant.

Man we get that weather here in Texas every other day. Warms up about 30-40 degrees during the day then cools down the exact same way. Then we’ll get days in the 90-100’s then a day later down to the 40’s.
