Worldwide popular yogurt cake! 🤩 Heavenly delicious and absolutely crazy!
Ingredients
🍰Dough:
3 egg yolks
a pinch of salt
80 g (6 tbsp) powdered sugar
80g (1 stick) melted butter
200 g (1 1/2 cups / 7 ounces) flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Jam:
500 g raspberries (frozen)
70 g (6 tbsp) cornstarch
150 g (3/4 cups / 5 ounces) sugar
150 ml (2/3 cups / 5 oz) water
Separate a small piece of dough and simply set it aside
Baking mold 20 cm / 8 inches
🧁Cream:
500 g (2 1/2 cup / 1 pound) Greek yogurt
50 g (4 tbsp) cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla
Mix well
3 egg whites
a pinch of salt
130 g (2/3 cups / 4.5 oz) sugar
Beat until the peaks are hard, then fold into the yogurt
Assemble the cake like in the video
Break up the reserved piece of dough
Add 1 tbsp flour
Crumble
Almond flakes
Bake in a well preheated oven at 180°C / 350°F for 45 minutes or until the top of the cake rises evenly
