Let’s take a look at what could be inside your pet reptile and how to manage them! The easiest way to Deal with them is to save them and bring to Your Veterinariun for help! I just did another video explaining the dosing and math to make it easier to navigate!

1. Dosing: lbs/2.2 = Y. Y x 50(mg of medication dose per Kilogram) = X. Divide X by the milligrams per ml/CC to Get the dose. If you weigh in grams then 1000 grams equals a Kilogram so they are the same. 500 grams is the same as .500 Kilograms. If snake weighs let’s say 420 grams then you would use .420 X 50(mg dose per kilogram or 1000 grams) = Y. Divide Y by milligram per CC/ML solution( how many milligrams are suspended in one CC or Milliliter(ML) = X. X is the amount of wormer needed to treat measured as a liquid volume. 2. Bubble Gum Video: Kevin mocking himself for just pulling out his phone and filming something on his mind. I Just make it up And do it one time. I don’t edit besides getting rid of a lead in or out. I upload the video and slap a thumbnail on it and hope people like it. No Production….just raw me! K

I’m so happy you’re doing these educational videos I always liked this side of you. No offense but you’re better off without Donny his drama honestly wasn’t what I was here for to see. I completely understand but please keep doing the educational ones. I love learning about all animals.

Ya know, it would be simpler to weigh the snake in grams. Then if the snake was, for instance, 975 grams, you would just have to take the dose per kilogram and multiply by 0.975 and you would get the correct dose. Much easier and more accurate than converting ounces to kilograms. Just saying.

Bubblegum/Basic/Easy/Unpolished what ever you want to call it, WE WILL TAKE IT!!! You provide us with something no else does, and that’s an education in how to take care off all sorts of issues (common-rare) that reptile keepers could and do have to deal with. And without you, all we have is the internet (which we all know is full of misinformation) and of course the Veterinarian which may not be accessible immediately. Thank you for all you do for us!

Having people like you in this hobby is very important. You have often expressed your feelings on wild caught vs. captive bred and this just reinforces the reason. Most captive bred animals are going to be parasite free (there will always be exceptions). You provide knowledge that the average keeper just doesn’t have and it appreciated.

Ok, so I think you should show a picture of canceling out units. I think for non-math save people it is easier to visually see how you convert say lb to kg. 2.2lb/1kg. So 0.6lbs x 1kg/2.2lbs, lbs is the denominator and cross canceling the units leaves kilograms. Something like that, so no one makes a boo boo.
