DEPRESSION...People often comment that Gay people are so depressed, why would they want to be gay if it causes such depression. I'm NOT depressed because I'm Gay; the depression is a result of the way I am TREATED by Church and Society.

Classic causation vs correlation fallacy! People see gay people unalive themselves and assume it because they are gay. People see gay ppl have tumultuous relationships and assume it’s because they are gay. And actually that part true but it’s a backwards analysis. Many ppl are shunned by family and society. And because we were created for connection and love, not having that causes ppl to be depressed. Not having causes ppl to not want to live. People are outcasted from their families because they are not accepted for Something that they did not choose nor did they ask for it to come upon them. How is one of the supposed to be most loving places, God’s church, the most hate-filled, judgmental place? There is no place in the Bible that God casts anyone out for being who they are?! Tsk
@@endswithme555I fully agree. I often say that Church and society AGREE on their stand against being gay. To me, that says a great deal since the issue is the ONLY thing they agree upon. The podcast talked about people saying, “Love the sinner, not the sin.” This statement is empty and cannot be done; it only makes the person saying it not feel guilty-they are justifying their attitude so they fool themselves into believing God approves of the disgust in their minds and hearts.

I need to find a way to like something multiple times. Every video speaks to me but this brother right here has a word in his mouth. You can tell he authentically walks with God and he just happens to be gay. That’s the type of Christian I strive to be…you can tell that person walks and talks with God and if they never told you anything about their sexuality, you wouldn’t know because you’re blinded by their relationship with God. That’s why I don’t get how people can say that God is against LGBT people??? If God was so against it then why is this podcast changing lives for the better? Why can I feel the same anointing in these episodes as I did in church. Can’t be two different spirits. Why does watching this make me want to chase God in all my gayness even more??? My brother in Christ said so many people are concerned about following the book that they are missing the Spirit of it! I wanna send him an offering right now. Even the very Bible talks about the spirit of the law vs the letter of the law. Christians that idolize following the Bible judging others, and going to church miss the authenticity and spirit of God so often. Don’t believe me, look at the Pharisees. They dotted every I and crossed every T and Jesus still said their hearts were far from Him. So you’re telling me you can follow the Word and still miss God. My walk with God exponentially increased this past year 1. When I fully accepted my sexuality as a gay black Christian man 2. When I started to read the Side A affirming argument in all these books with a now open mind and heart 3. When I realized that the same way straight people don’t choose to be straight is the SAME exact way gay people don’t wake up and choose to be gay. I’m going to watch this over and over again because there were so many gold nuggets laced in this interview from start to finish!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

It’s not OK to be gay. We must continue to share Truth… in 2008, I was a gay-identified man, in a committed, monogamous same-sex relationship, active in an affirming church, where we called ourselves gay Christians. Then I found myself in an ICU where the medical team classified me clinically dead after a 22-minute flatline. I experienced death, judgement and hell. When I couldn’t take any more demonic torment, I cried out in repentance, “Jesus!” and I heard the Savior say, “I am here.” At that moment, I saw with my eyes the Wind of the Holy Spirit fill my ICU and with great power, He pick up Satan and the demonic and blew them out of the room. On that day, my life changed, the redemptive Blood of Jesus cleared my mind of perversion and completely healed and restored every failing organ. Glory to God!
