Thanks for sharing this book, Florentin 😎! I haven't played piano in quite a while, but it was an interesting listen. I agree that a lot of worship music has a connection to the organ, but like you said, the left hand is still important in piano.
Think the author was trying to sell books, understanding that most ppl are naturally right handed, and will get frustrated when they find some of the songs get too difficult to play. But that note in the book was kinda like this pastor who said that you don't need to learn how to play notes on a guitar; just learn chords. So i agree with your assessment; a good piano player plays with both hands working independently, and one gets good by practicing. Florentin, when you're learning a song not familiar to you, do you practice one hand at a time, and then play both together?
