I was noticing that. My habit of late has been to get home from church and while working on other things on my computer to tune into the stream and after conference the set design has been very different than when this was shot.

The focus of it all is to truly worship the way his word tells us too. Yes they have all of that equipment but what Is the condition of there hearts? That's what the Lord wants is everything YOU are. John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

@@alexlopez515 Love this response. I like to think of it as art too. God is the ultimate artist and we can reflect his creativity in the music we make. Nice equipment can help, but a great artist can create something beautiful out of a seemingly useless set of materials. Even if all you had was an upright piano and a few singers, I’d shove that piano in the middle of the room where everyone could hear it and circle around, making a joyful noise. Write some awesome chord progressions and medleys, delegate harmonies, and just worship authentically in the moment. Keep your eyes on the One who matters and he’ll make everything else fall into place.

There's no doubt that this church was able to invest deeply into their tech team but what I've experienced is that you can do a lot with a little. The principle of the Talents apply here, To whom makes the most of the little they are given will be given more. Use what you have to its best ability and God honors that and will help provide more. I've seen it over and over in my many years of doing church tech. It's also more than just money, for every single service they have no less than 30 people behind the scenes manning cameras, managing sound, lighting, video, everything. I would guess even more than that. If your church is smaller and less equipped, that's likely a blessing because the more technical it becomes, the more people it requires to manage it.

@@ForeverLiveArt If you're focusing on looks then you're focusing on the wrong thing...in any church. Focus on the message and making much of Christ and then if and when He provides you can upgrade systems. Systems aren't the goal - people finding Jesus is.

@@mark12.31 maybe people finding Jesus who have deep pockets, no amount of wishing is going to drop that type and amount of tech on your door step for free. Believe all you want, not gonna happen.
