Interestingly enough, many claim that Michael Jordan himself wore mids on court. Additionally, until around 2013-2015, what was considered a “high” is actually what is now considered a “mid”. Meaning Air Jordan 1 highs were actually released in more of a mid cut until Nike decided to “bring back the OG shape”.

I actually like mids, their obviously cheaper than the highs and are slept on a lot more, so when cool colourways drop I actually have a chance of copping 😄 US Mens 11 🔥

I own Highs Mids and Lows. I actually own that shoe. Quality may not be the best on them but on foot and styled right these shoes get tons of compliments. I own about 5 pairs of mids and those are the ones I wear the most. My highs I really bring out for special occasions. I get what you are saying regarding the quality but that's also why it's a less expensive shoe. I can wear them daily and not be to worried about beating them up.

I will disagree with you 100%. AJ1 Mids have much better quality than a dunk. I own plenty of mids yes some are ok, but some will surprise you. My favorite are the Zen master and the Armory Navy mids

Idk man I have some mids from 10 years ago and they still pair up well. The only issue is some of the paint wore off by my ankles. Besides that I enjoy them!

The shoe you were hating on (The 2022 Air Jordan 1 mid) is my favorite shoe. I have a pair myself and the quality is just fine. I also love the colorway. I highly recommend this shoe. If you don't like this shoe just don't buy it and hate on it 😑

How about we stop pretending that Jordan 1 highs are great quality. They are much lower quality than you can get for 1/2 the price. We are paying for price and that shitty swoosh still profiting off of a player most sneaker heads never got to watch. I have a dozen pairs because I like them and they go with my wardrobe. They are a fun hobby. Never once has someone purchased a nike product solely based on the quality of materials. Lows and mids will break in and feel just fine after multiple wears. Highs are a little softer but still a nicer but thin cut of mid grade leather with inconsistent craftsmanship. Rock what you like and be honest about what you’re paying for b/c we all know these are only priced based on hype

I like like jordan 1 mids and you do have a point. The quality should better, but that is why if you can go to store and feel what they are like then why not. You can make a decision that way, there are some slept on colour ways that some do have good materials. But in the end it comes down to quality of sneaker. Lost and found 1s US 11/10.5

I don’t mind this colorway. Haha. Not a red guy but I think the tongue does look pretty cool. The way some people feel about 1 mids is the way I feel about 1 lows. I don’t think 1 lows are the worst thing in the world but I would just never have any reason to ever buy them. Do agree that the quality on the mids is generally below the highs for sure. The reason for mids is for the people who can't pay ridiculous resale price for highs. So it's basically a cheaper and affordable version. I remembered I could afford the highs I wanted, so I actually like them. They been dropping clean colorways.

Mids are good you crazy. The lows are the ones that suck. Mids were what got me into Jordan’s in the first place so they’ll always a special place to me. I’ve tried a couple lows & I just can’t do them. Don’t like the way they look or anything. Mids & highs I’ll rock all day.

The problem is that all Jordan 1s... highs, mids and lows were being overly developed and thats why the hype started dying. They are putting all colors and terrible materials on all of them. There are plenty of mids over the last few years that had excellent quality and colorways!! Size 11M lost and found!

I like this color. The only problem I have is that the tongue is red. If it was white instead. 100% better. I actually have this mid and I put the white laces. Looks better and hides the roughness of the red tongue. Thing is the best one for mid in this color is the gym red mid. That one has the white tongue. I got that one before I knew I could have gone to GOAT or eBay to get the gym red mid instead.

Me, I personally have 3 Mids and I love them. I personally can’t get with the lows. If I could afford the highs, I would love to get the highs. But I won’t tell them to stop the lows, even though it’s not in my liking.

It’s not even a bad shoe, Mids are a great show and in my opinion that’s a great color way and many people have actually asked for it, people just hate on them for nothing I get they don’t have the same quality as highs but they’re just shoes, let people wear what they want. I love mids. 1 they still J's 2. They have some crazy colorways and colabs 3. With all of those great colors and colabs styling them are amazing 4. They are still J's The one big draw back sometimes they get bad leather and hurt

Mids are dope and so is this color way. I like Mids I buy MIDS 2 wear and buy other Jordan’s to collect and resale. But most of the Jordan’s I wear are only mids! Ive noticed a trend with my fellow sneaker tweakers in the community. Seems like those bros that females dont pay much attention to really hate on mids and hate on people who wear them. They hate on alot of stuff, There is definitely a type. Theres a need to be bigger, better and elite to compensate. I'll rock mids, highs and lows. I'll make any of them look good with the right fit hanging off me. Ive got a couple dozen AJ1's and Ive never bought a single pair due to the leathers quality. Cracks me up when people go in on the quality of the leather. Almost all NIKE leather is lower tier. We arent buying work boots, these are mass produced in a factory on the other side of the globe for pennies on the dollar. Just rock what you like y'all, these aren't trash. - If you have em and like em, show up in em proud.

I'm going to tell the truth I had 150 pairs of jordan 1s sold most of them but I sold my mids and bought Hella highs ..but I'm tired of the highs I'm starting to buy more mids they got some good ones out and they look better with shorts

You sneaker RU-vidrs do a disservice to hard working parents with videos like these. Mids help out the parents that maybe can’t afford the OG color ways, or don’t want to spend reseller prices. If my 7 year old God Son asked me for a a Bred Toe. There’s no way I’m dropping $350 bucks on a OG shoe he’s gonna trash and grow out of by the end of summer. Not when I can give him these mids for $97.
