The board at 4:54 is actually a Winmau board, model name Rebel. Still being sold by Argos. I had one for a while until until so many segments exploded like the 20 shown. Worst thing about this board is that it is actually screwed to the cabinet with 4 screws so turning it is a torture. Also, as the numbers are painted onto the board, I had to blacken them out and stick an old number ring to the cabinet. Couldn't even salvage the cabinet as it is smaller than a regulation board.
Some of those must have been put up as a joke. In other news hit my first ever 170 outshot earlier today. Hopefully be hitting them to beat Gary Anderson in a few years time😉
The reviews for some of them on Amazon amaze me. The thin, wooden boards that are novelty. I get that they are novelty boards but the prices of them are outrageous. You could get a proper board for a similar price. I think it's just people's lack of understanding when it comes to darts that allows these prices to be set.
Funny that you make a video like this now. Set up my dart board I got for Christmas (yeah, late, I know). My mother gave it to me. It's bad. It has extra wiring that increases the bouncers. Won't tell my mom, though. She did her best.
@@Edgartvdarts Yeah. It's not made by one of the bigger companies, anyway. Don't know which, but definitely neither Target nor Unicorn. But for fuck's sake, why the wiring? So effin' stupid. I can't think it's a cost factor thing. More wiring would mean more work and more material. Don't get it one bit.
The board at 5:54 I actually had it, it was my first board ever and it was crap, it was sold as a Winmau board but I don't know if it's actually theirs. I had to throw it away after a few months, as most of the sisal had fallen out from the 20 and the 19. In its latter days if I threw 10 darts at it, I'd get 10 bounce outs.
I bought a dartboard at a garage sale, it was mint except the bullseye, it looked like he stabbed it over and over and over again until it was a big bump, you couldn't throw a dart at it the dart would just fall
