Honestly? If you're just gonna show up relatively on time, get me where I wanna go, and not kill me I'm giving you a 5 star review. You've done your job so I'm satisfied
I think it’s generally understood that with these corporate metric tracking things, giving a 5 star rating is just the decent thing to do, even if the ride was mediocre.
Lead up here: The passenger got in and asked if they could turn on A/C instead of windows. Was told no, that Lyft requires the windows be down for the full ride (not true), this included his window controls being locked so he could not roll his window up himself. Since he did not like being blasted by high speed air he asked her to at least drive the speed limit.
People are fucking crazy about windows. In high school my friend's dad made her be his sober driver when he frequently when out to the bars, and one time his gf was with him and she kept rolling the window down just enough to make that WUBWUBWUBWUBWUB noise that pummels your ears so my friend rolled the windows up and locked them, and the gf fucking opened the door of a moving vehicle. Obviously my friend cussed out this drunk woman. Her dad made her pull over and get out so he could chew her ass for daring to scold his gf for trying to fall out of a car going 50mph.
@@thedeviouspanda Oh fuck I am so sick and tired of the bullshit where people take sides. I used to have a best friend until I had a falling out with his girlfriend while living there. Nothing but double standards and rudeness. The kind of person who always has to talk shit about SOMEONE (really important, I'll get back to it). One time I came home and they would be in the living room and the power went out shortly. The girlfriend also had a friend staying there but SHE was in charge of the bill. When the power went out she had the audacity to say that it was my fault. I was silent through all of this and the moment I opened my mouth she went and followed me to the door to make a point to lock me out. I showed her my key and phone then just continued on. The indignancy of such complete abuse and my friend 'pretending' to have a sit-down but then going on to act pussy whipped ended up with me completely abhorred and I left. Another friend moved in and he 'had' a best friend. His name was Cole. He was like the greatest kind of guy. He was humble and legitimately did actual effort to make friends. In his first few days of coming over I was still there. His absolute best, and worst, moment was when he was in the backyard with us and punted the ball into that bitches face right when she came out. This genuine guy came over straight away to help here and we ALL knew it was an accident. We were all in the circle and it wasn't angry kicking either. She wasn't having ANY of it. She purposely pulled cry-time on him. We all held back of course because she was in a relationship with the guy we were THERE FOR. Before I left they pulled another living room seance where she went on the WHOLE time about Cole looking at her tits. Like who fucking cares. She has big tits and let them hang out. I didnt care, boyfriend didn't care, nobody believed there was a problem. He was probably just being shy honestly. So I surmised that since I left Cole couldn't see his bestfriend anymore. The guy that moved in after me. Probably had to do with a bitch running people away.. But anyways he ended up taking his own life. He was an ironworker working a tough job and quite likely we were his 'after-party'. I came by one time with a brand new expedition to burn rubber infront of the house but there I saw cole in his old square body texting on his phone by himself. That was the last time I saw him. EVEN after this that fucking bitch didn't learn a damn thing and pretends to not know what was happening. She was a bully and a godawful terrible one at that. Nobody would've ever put up with her shit if she wasn't going out with our 'best-man'. One day I'm going to go back and confront her. She went to his funeral and stood up on-stage to remember him but she was the prime orchestrator of the madness. It makes me sick to my core. I hope my old best-friend is there too because he needs the reality check as well.
Dude had like the patience of Job and was totally chill. Certainly not an unreasonable person at all and I would have obliged him with those two simple requests. As a former cabbie I can relate, sometimes you get customers who just want to enjoy the ride. And I actually liked those chill rides. It's a hustle, time is money, so you drive aggressively all day (but safe of course) and it's nice to have a chill sightseeing ride with customers. This is especially true of the elderly. They don't like fast rides and sometimes just want to sightsee on a leisurely ride and as long as you're paying, what do I care?! I'm not going to make any more money by rushing them through the trip and racing around picking up others and cramming as many as I can into a day really, than being on a leasurely ride with the one in my car. I've done both and it's not worth the mad hustle, those leisurely rides are a nice switch from the busy hustle and bustle. When I drove hack I was always happy to oblige them. This is just sooo alien to me, super unnecessary and unprofessional and then to try and hit him for nothing?! Wow.
When she screams "get out of the car now" I can't help but think of that meme where they're at the hospital and the man screams get out of the car now, and the girl's just sitting there like "that's not where I wanted to go" and all
Yea apparently that lady put on that ‘no pomegranates’ thing as a demonstration/acting bit for her class, like she wasnt psycho lool. Just without context for her class she obviously looks insane but turns out she was just putting on a show.
The best Uber driver I’ve ever had was this old former Hell’s Angel who told me about his days as a biker and how he got to smoke weed with David Allen Coe and Willie Nelson. Absolutely wild.
While the Hell's Angels do have a wicked reputation, I can only imagine the stories some of them have. God, how I'd love to hear some of those around a campfire, lol.
A spokesperson for Lyft told TooFab: "Safety is fundamental to Lyft, and the incident shown in the video is concerning. "We have reached out to the rider to offer our support and have suspended the driver's account pending a complete investigation." kekW
I’m surprised they didn’t say “this woman is being brought on charges for reckless driving and endangering her passenger’s life and will fully cooperate in the legal proceedings”
This isn't a funny story. This is a battle, a pure image of savagery preformed by two valiant warriors. We saw a alpha and a beta today. The alpha let out her war cry and the beta LAUGHED the pure INSANITY IT WAS. The mercy the Alpha gave him was astounding. To call this funny ... No...
Honestly, I'd rate her 5 stars. Crime tape in car while committing a crime. Pennywise in the front seat while doing a pennywise-esque screech. Leaving him stranded and chucking his luggage to play frogger with high velocity cars. She was just trying to give him an authentic haunted halloween-themed ride, and boy did she succeed
Have you seen the Nathan For You episode where Nathan does something crazy like this for a haunted house? He makes you think someone with an infectious disease touched you , doctors come in and look at you in decontamination suits, make you real nervous, and then put you in an ambulance and take you for a ride. When the ambulance stops the back door open and it says the name of the haunted house and "Exit" The people they showed going through it all surprisingly laughed about it (I mean they thought they were fucked up I guess) but they probably have some footage of people losing it
The driver didn't will an accident into existence, from his sober perspective he likely anticipated the vehicles trajectory. Good drivers with solid spatial awareness can spot an accident before it happens a mile away.
Exactly. The guy with enough driving experience and attention to the cars around him to predict an accident ahead of time is the guy I want driving me 100% of the time.
as someone who has extreme anxiety when it comes to cars, both the way this woman was driving and how she kicked the dude out would’ve probably given me a panic attack
I was on vacation in Tampa and my friend’s mom drove us there. We were coming back to our hotel from Busch Gardens and she hit the median. We had to stay a couple extra days because the car’s front left tire was destroyed lmao
There's a place where I'm From in F.L that we called Death Highway. I've watch helicopters lift people off to a hospital on multiple occasions. Even witnessed two vehicles collide an the noise was the loudest bang I ever heard. I even felt the vibration from away. It was as if lightning had struck the ground is the only way I could describe my experience.
@@ytodysm4893 99% of the time its fine, a lot of people just sit there on phone, some people want to talk to you but i dont really mind it. i just never felt like i could listen to my phone or whatever and be distracted like you prolly can with deliveries. if you do it strategically im sure you can make a lot more for a few hours than deliveries though like going to events or bar hours or driving in the middle of the night when theres not a lot of drivers. the one thing i feel though is delivery drivers probably get tipped a lot more, i probably got tipped 5-10% of the time driving lyft, usually just a few dollars but if you do events and stuff youre more likely to have someone hand you a 10 or 20. its really a night gig, daytime driving generally sucks its usually people with no car who use it daily and thus dont tip and are just going to store or work relatively close by. ive noticed in delivery apps u usually have to set a tip before you order, while with lyft they can tip through app afterwards which makes them a lot more comfortable not giving you anything
This unlocked a memory I completely forgot. A couple of years ago I was in an uber with my friend and the driver asks if we're university students. We say yes, and the driver calls us smart. He then proceeds to go on a rant yelling that all people with low IQ should be killed. We were preached why eugenics and genetic cleansing should be a thing for like 20 minutes.
ROFL at thinking university students are automatically smart. Was extremely disappointed when I got there. The bar is currently: do you have shit tons of money, or are you willing to get 5000 miles deep into debt? Ok, you're in.
The fact that she was wearing a mask and had put up warning tape to promote social distancing, but also drove like a maniac while punching and screaming at the passenger is just the most hilarious thing
I even got heart problems as a teen because of him stressing me i hope I don't die early because of this jackass , but hopefully i save enough to move out soon.
actualy we are living in our bubble. world is filled with disgusting events and people. if you can live in your "bliss" bubble you are lucky and doing great
Funny how she's playing "Stuck In The Middle With You" By Gerry Rafferty and Stealers Wheel. "Clowns To The Left Of Me, Jokers To The Right, Here I Am, Stuck In The Middle With You"
Lil update for the bois, This Karen is currently suspended from LYFT and She is under investigation as we speak. Also the dude that got abandoned on the highway was compensated for there troubles by LYFT
@@KingNefiiria Because you can totally catch things like this in a background check... Not every karen acts like this daily and most people don't instinctually whip their phone out to record confrontations like this nor would it usually make public record. I wouldn't expect a service like lift or uber to actually track down old employers for every employee they have.
Maybe that's why he started doing Lyft. With other people in the car it might make it harder for him to cave in and kill himself as he has to kill someone else as well
Lacking the full context here, I'm impressed with how well he remains calm in the midst of a raging Karen banishing him on a freeway. But it's gotta be so surreal seeing her fully thriving in her habitat like that, I might laugh it off in person too.
Driving barefoot, speeding, driving recklessly, and abandoning a passenger on the side of a freeway? This woman shouldn't just lose her job, she should be in a prison.
If my neighbors file a complaint over the sound barrier obliterating laugh I just belted out at the combination of your comment, username, and pfp I’m coming to your house and hiding legos under your carpet and mattress.
that squealing she does sounds like a 3 year old not being able to get their favorite power ranger toy from the local walmart, she goes from pissed off old lady to crying toddler within seconds
I took an Uber once at around 10 PM and the Uber driver was so high that confessed wanting to kill his wife and how he would’ve done it if it wasn’t because she found out and called the police. He said that she found the bag that he was gonna use to suffocate her and found inside gloves, a knife and rope (apparently, he had already threatened her to do it this way). Then, out of nowhere he takes out a bag and says “a bag like this” and looked at me with a smile. We were in the middle of nowhere when he said it. I genuinely thought that I was going to die that day.
@@puns4days someone would need to go through potentially hours of video to find all of them to do that. I'd imagine the VODs are just directly uploaded from Twitch
Y'know how parents hit you with the "I'll turn this car right around" or the "I'll drop you off right here and leave"? Yeah...this woman actually did it. Actual psychopath
@@Julka-xk8cz I guess it's some pretty fucked up stuff, but I remember once when I was like 8-10ish? That my dad pulled that one on me, and I got out of the car and started walking away. I remember thinking stuff like "I'm on my own now, I'm never gonna see them again," but thankfully like 20 seconds later when I had reached the corner he reversed and picked me back up (he didn't drive away or anything, I think he just expected me to come back.) Thankfully my dad was very amused and told me that he'd never want me to go and that I love you, etc etc
lol, my dad actually has dropped me off on our way home once cause he was mad. Had to walk back. Though I at least had a sidewalk he dropped me off at; and we were pretty close to home by that point
It's amazing how little these companies vet their chauffeurs. If this psycho can get a job with them, whose to say human traffickers don't work for these companies and are able to case the homes of their fares. I've met nicer cab drivers at 2am in the depths of North Philly.
oh it happens... stalkers will get a Lyft job just in case they end up getting a request from their victim. think MrBallen did a story on that, very sad
Given this video is out and by some people report been on local news. The driver most definitely lost any job/career in Lyft of similar sharing service. Also if given to police she definitely got a ticket or at least a warning and a now marked for any later issues if involved. So outside of say possibly suspending license temporarily or retaking drivers license as a punishment. The fool has damaged themselves enough.
I was staying in a hotel in San Francisco and we wanted to go to the beach and got a Lyft. We got in the mans car and my mom was halfway in the car when he started stepping on the gas almost dropping my mom. (She was also pregnant) Then the guy took like 2 hours to get to the beach (wasn’t even 30 mins away). My mom got charged like $70 for the ride. My mom called Lyft and got her money back and also got that mf fired.
@@antwonmartinez8520 your story reminds me of an encounter I had with a French taxi cab driver and my own mother in Paris once. He did the same but we couldn't really do much...
I like how the lyft passenger probably fully went into this knowing what was gonna happen and is willing to die for his suitcase, absolutely gotta love a life threatened recorder
My worst experience with lift was after I left Epcot my mom and I didn’t want to park so we took a lyft and our driving was falling asleep behind the wheel swerving lanes and then started snorting something to keep himself awake, 100% top 3 scariest moments of my life
please dont tell me thats what she was... please dont tell me shes a spouse to another human being. Let alone, a honorable person like one currently serving.
@@valoressbqiskrnrjbx5025 I'd like to think that the higher enlisted would know better then to marry, that. That just mean that some poor private has to deal with that. I don't know which is worse.
This is why I _NEVER_ put anything in the trunk of a ride share or cab and always low key record the entire time. His first tip off to just immediately walk away should have been the blow up doll in the passenger seat instead of a sign stuck to the window that says no passengers up front. Jesus.
Nothing wrong with a halloween decoration in the front passenger seat. If anything it's more polite than a 'passive aggressive' sounding sign. Could come off a lot worse if there wasn't any indication and they just abruptly tell you to sit in the back, would seem more personal but this way lets you know it's the same rule for everybody.
@@DrakeOola I’d be more pissed to see some shit occupying a seat to keep me from sitting there than to be politely asked, “may you please sit in the back seat instead.”
I wonder if she was considering a good old fashioned "REEEEEE" but decided it would be too much of a cliché, so in the heat of the moment settled on doing an impression of a pig burning alive.
2:50 It’s really nice to see how Charlie’s opinion on Godzilla has evolved over the years, especially with the release of Godzilla: Minus One. Truly poetic
