I think St. Marq's heart will be a muddy blob in 5 years. He did a no linework King Tut on someone else and it got really blurry in a year and the canvas came back for a retouching, and he still added little to no linework. Even Dave Navarro said "Is he going to rework a blurry king tut, with a slightly less blurry image of king tut?

@@Ben-Carr the canvas returned in Redemption and it was super faded and looked 15 years old but St Marq ended up redoing it for him.

The reason why they won't do that is because it takes all the 'drama' out of the show. While I agree that the show should just be who does the better ink but people also like to read it because of the drama between everyone and the coaches.

In my opinion Kruseman shouldn’t have been an ink master winner. Yes his back piece was phenomenal but that doesn’t mean he should’ve won. And as bad as Earl’s tattoo was he tried his best. Kruseman didn’t which is why I think he should’ve been sent home.

That always happens on the show. Those who never do the challenge, always get a pass. It’s fricken annoying🤬🤬 Yeah, Earl’s wasn’t the prettiest. But, he still followed the challenge. Kruseman basically played it safe and didn’t follow the challenge😤😤

Kruesman deserved to be sent home. The juges were glad to have an experimented artist like Kruesman so they gave him too much chances.

I don't Know why the dramatic 'who will be eliminated' parts are left in, when only one tattooist was shown. Like, yeah, no surprise and it makes the video longer

they are coached just like any other TV show like how everyone on family feud jumps up and down. No reality show is real its just as scripted at times as a regular show.

The thing that makes ink permanent is the depth in which they put it into the skin. If anything, they could use fake skin but that would be less interesting from a show stand point

If you volunteer to get a tattoo on the show then you volunteer to get a bad tattoo. You know the risks.

@@BedardJ I think they are speaking about ephemeral ink but its a branded product that alleges its ink particles are smaller and easier to break down.

As james danger pointed out in season 3, you absolutely do not have to work with every crazy client that comes through the door. Yes, they have to be respectful and listen to their clients ideas, but in the real world, if the koi fish girl kito got came into their shop, any contestant there wouldve refused her

Well, the tattoo is just "meh". It's not one where you assume on the first glance that it's the first tatto of a 15 year old kid. But if you consider what is possible and how great a koi tattoo could look like, it's bad. The water is only dimly recognizable as water because of the color, the flowers look somewhat detached and randomly thrown in, the scales lack detail. If you could get a great back tattoo of a koi fish for 1000$, then this one would be like a 300$ version. It's not horrible, but just lacking so much compared to a really good version.
