Lebron literally did that the whole 2015 season lol I use to watch all the cavs game and this mf literally traveled every time the ball was inbounded too him, I think Westbrook got that from him
@@endryl08I just re watched the 2012 finals. I’m not aware of the updates on rules but I noticed that both Spain and USA got away with starting the dribble with the pivot foot.
Actuually the NBA players in the the 90s had alot less dicipline and werent as creative in playing style in comparison to todays professinals. todays players would sweep the 90s competition
@@hoboworthy1311 finally somebody who knows what they are talking about. YES today's teams would DESTROY those 90s teams everybody thinks was so great. Nostalgia I guess.....
Yep, basketball was about winning and elevating. Now it's ALL about image, arrogance, flopping, storylines, and marketable hype as if the NBA wasn't already growing really fast
OK, I'm going to say it. The reason players today 'seem' to have better handles/agility is because they are allowed to do stuff the refs would have called back in the day.
The modern NBA 2nd side step thing to shoot a jump shot is ridiculous... they travel all of the time now and it's just part of the game now. 90's and 00's NBA was peak.
I fully expected to see Lebron in at least half of this video. Also, the handful of these that the refs actually called were only called because of crowd reaction. Otherwise they wouldn't have called any of them. Get it together NBA.
I love how NBA players especially the bench are like “whaaaa how is that a travel” acting all shocked like they haven’t been playing ball for the past 10-20 years of their life.
The way these guys carry and travel up and down the court… if they had to go back and play in the 60s, they wouldn’t be able to score a point. If Jerry West and Bob Cousy were given this kind of freedom with the ball… we wouldn’t have discussions about eras.
Funny I’m seeing this after watching I just got done watching Dallas and Golden State get called for ten travels combined in one game only. Curry got called for one in the final ten seconds shooting the three to take the lead. I think it was the right call he shouldn’t be getting away with traveling with the deadly three point shot he has.
I don't even watch the NBA anymore...haven't for a long time. It's just a show now it's no longer a sport...with all the uncalled travels...all the flops...all the cry babies and most the players are cheaters. It's not even worth watching anymore, there's no integrity, there's no honor to the game, it's the same thing as watching the Harlem Globetrotters.
Jesus, they already give them that gather step nonsense. Just go back to enforcing the rule that the dribble ends when the ball contacts the hand and the first foot touching the floor is the pivot foot, and make them play basketball.
@@Glenn-F-Rice what is wrong with the euro step? You don't take an extra step, just instead of stepping straight forward, you take one of your step slight towards right or left. There are two major issues that NBA has to solve. One gather BS and second under the name of "hesitation" holding the ball and continue.
Quite eatching cause of all the no calls. Half the stars have basket ball moves that dont exist in basketball. How many games have steph and lebron won in playoffs off of moves thst dont exist?
