Ryth Bane it said subtitles are there to help me understand the foreign language and then people came in to correct them and say it’s for deaf people. If it’s for deaf people, then they would also want to understand the foreign language... therefore it’s for both.

I cant help but love Andrew's evolution of the food cheers. The first few episodes each time you can see he's thinking something along the lines of "why are we doing this Steven?! Let's just eat!" to "Fish kiss!" Lean into it Andrew! The food cheers is great!

I love the soup episode at the first restaurant, the subtitles translate every word of the owner, but when Steven sits down and they get their food, Steven says “shie-shie” (thank you in mandarin) and the captions say “Steven speaks in foreign language”😂
