I have a worx hydroshot, and also do a little job to make it works better. 1. Equipped larger battery which is 6.0 ampere-hour dressed by green color, however the current version hydroshot can't load green color 6.0 ampere-hour battery anymore because of the interface of battery had changed. 2. Changing a nozzle which manufactured by Spraying Systems Co, that able to switch the stream to vertical or horizontal. It makes the rinse easier in some situation especially load with higher ampere-hour battery because it's heavier. To Why Spraying Systems Co‘s nozzle, only for the SSC's nozzle meets the standard of hydorshot's flow rate and pressure in my search. The nozzle type QCIMEG, capacity size is 02. As an oversea audience, really enjoy your video.

Scott. I personally have had good success in the low pressure mode when doing a final distilled water rinse. I am getting a good stretch on the battery. I am still on the same chrage with the battery and I have rinsed my suv 3 times already.

Finally!! I've been looking for someone on RU-vid that has actually done what I was courious about, I got the 20v worx blower & 20v trimmer, the batteries that both of this items come with suck and I mean they are done in 10mins of use, so I decided to get me the bigger battery 40v same voltage and I did noticed a maybe 20% more power besides the way way longer running time, anyway I wanted to know if I got this powerwasher and I use my 40v will give me the little more ump like it did with my other tools? And you sir! You have answered my question😌 thanks you so much👍
What about the new model that has came out with the 40 volt batteries? How much run time and how much more performance do you see out of it? I'm assuming you tried it course sorry.
Worx Hydroshot stopped working after very little use and 9 month garage storage. Not pumping water but motor is running - checked and tightened all connections then prefilled the hose - still nothing coming out. Then removed the wand - still nothing - just the sound of the motor. IMHO not very robust for a $125 for the 20 amp model.
If I buy the 40v version that has two 20v 2.0ah batteries attatched to it, can I upgrade to two 20v 4.0ah batteries?. And also do you think the 20v hydroshot with the standard 2.0ah battery will be enough to remove all the dirt before doing a paint correction? Im new to this and cant decide between the 20v hydroshot, the 40v hydro shot, and the sunjoe.
Congrats Scott, you just sold another Worx Hydroshot to go along with the Worx leaf blower. My question is would you recommend using the turbo nozzle for Worx on a cars paint or to much consentrated power?
Lol this thing is weak lol even if you put it on the stronger jet setting lol note the main ones will skin your skin because they are more powerful than this so this one of full power setting won’t do anything to paint

I got the 4.0ah battery also for more runtime but I also have the drill impact driver and grass trimmer so I am good undecided if I should buy another 4.0ah battery

If you get the 4Ah battery then the quick charger is a must, which is another $40 - unless you don't mind waiting 7-8 hours using the charger supplied with the Hydroshot. ;-(
Would you be able to complete a full wash say with meguiars gold class soap and rinse with this worx tool? ONR for routine washes but if it is really dirty would this work well enough?

You can get refurbished word batteries on eBay for about $20 each and they’re fine because I purchased them and I use them for my lawn business or landscaping business I have the word trimmer leaf blower And hedge clippers I’ll run by 20 V battery I have eight batteries six of them were purchased on eBay and refurbished
Maybe if you attach straight your hose to the worx, and not lose power in pumping water from.bucked you sould have more pressure.greatings from Athens Greece
yes you can hook it straight to a hose and get about 320psi but you still need the battery to run it..i also find hooking it straight to hose its not as user friendly and I'm concerned that the weight of the hose could cause stress on the threads where you need to attach hose..just my opinion:)...thanks for the comment and much love..always enjoy your comments

its a great question and no a traditional foam cannon will not work with this pressure washer...but worx makes a foam cannon just for this machine but i haven't tried it:(
Boy do I feel screwed! Just got it a few hours ago from amazon. I wanted it to blow off my vinyl siding and to do my car. Now I find out I should have bought the sun Joe. I wonder if they will take it back.
Recently subscribed and enjoying your videos. Just purchased the new 40v Hydroshot and soap gun. I live in a NY apartment so this seems like a good solution (park in indoor garage). Should I soap - rinse. Or rinse - soap - rinse, which would be more water. Thanks.

You can't use a traditional foam cannon with the hydroshot.. It's a low volume pressure washer.. Worx does make a foamer for the hydroshot but I haven't tried it.

That Worx is a toy, a squirt gun would be a better choice no batteries. The Sun Joe SPX6000C-XR iON has 1160 PSI and something you can clean an RV, or muddy SUV, etc. What the Sun Joe needs is 12V/120V inputs in addition to the battery.
Worx hyrdroshot isn't a toy but it's for a specific use case also a squirt gun isn't as intense as this. I notice people confuse intensity and pressure along with not understand the gpm or flow of water that's being pressurized.

But i will borrow your idea of the extra battery purchase to increase run time. Could you possibly make a video of using the sun joe cordless and a foam cannon? yes he kept the truck so now i take care of it every 30 days:)..its always a mess because of all the guys driving it and driving down dirt roads all the time..but its a cool truck for all its miles:)
I bought mine over a year and a 1/2 ago I have tried to get it to work in it still wont-work I even called the company to see if somebody could help me nothing works I don't know what to do with this thing other than give it a really bed review and throw it away
It sucks..I replaced it montgs back with the sun joe pressure washer in this same video. The worx pressure wash is weak AF and battery last maybe 10-12 minutes.
When it comes to water 💦 as a card carrying electronic technician I can tell you personally if it's anything other than DISTILLED WATER keep it out of your engine bay.
Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing yes I figured it out today. The baterie that came with it did ok. I washed a full size truck with it and the baterie held up even on high pressure. I even had extra baterie time to mess with it a little bit. I thought the baterie was not gonna last very long. : )
i love Matt but yes 14 buckets is over kill...hell i think 2 buckets is to much..lol...but i honor Matt and he can wash my car anytime:)..but i understand you were teasing..there has been a few detailers on youtube lately talking about a NO bucket wash and i think some are open to something else and i think thats awesome...because all these buckets are killing me..lol
perhaps you see it that way..no it doesn't have enough pressure to run a foam cannon but that wasn't even part of the equation when i purchased them..plus guys working in water restricted areas, this machine is a blessing!...its a great tool for engine bay cleaning and washing a car using distilled water so you don't get water spots...so many areas of detailing it can be a blessing but it was never to replace a gas or electric power washer..you have to decide what you value but in my world a foam cannon or lack of a foam cannon doesn't make me a better detailer or give me better results anyway...hmmmmmm
