I really loved this set. The likeness to Hurndall is superb. The Dalek looks great. But I was pissed that on the back of the box they incorrectly refer to "William" Hurndall, not Richard, and I really hate these new boxes....they are dreadful.

It's a great set, but as you say shame about the mistake on the back, however I think the new boxes are better than the previous ones, although still not a patch on the originals

I do wander if we're going to get a skaro dalek re release from revelation, he's incredibly neglected

With any luck there will be a second set with a Grey Dalek & Davros, it would sell well!

This is such an excellent figure. The face sculpt of Richard Hurndall is spot-on and the outfit is striking. Pleased as punch to finally see this is on shelves.

People are just so picky these days, I don’t care that the figure doesn’t look broken. I’m just happy to the see the Death Zone Dalek finally be turned into a model and for years I’ve been using the Dalek from the Resurrection of the Daleks Doctor and Dalek set as the Death Zone Dalek but it’s wonderful that we’re getting a figure of it to which I knew that they would do some day. 🙂

Exactly, of course it would be nice to have high detailed and accurate figures but at the end of the day these are toys produced on a limited budget for a budget store. Unfortunately a lot of people over look that fact, not to mention the increased price of production costs in recent years

@@CaptainJimiPie Children don’t want broken toys even if it’s meant to be, I felt the same way back in late 2010 when the Stone Dalek was announced and at first criticised the model for not having big cracks like it did in the show. However my mother said what you said and I accepted it.

The problem is that often many fans (even grown up ones) are never satisfied, if they get cheaper figures it's not accurate enough. If they got more accurate figures then they wouldn't be cheap enough. Unfortunately a lot of people expect CO to make completely screen accurate figures and then sell them for £10 a set.

If they're doing a figure set of Remembrance, I think it would be cool to have it a 4 pack with some retooling here and there

I think a four pack is unlikely, if they do Remembrance it’ll likely be one or more double packs

No pineapple accessory.....devastated! Appreciate it would have been a tooling nightmare, but am I the only one not disappointed that we didn't get a destroyed Dalek....

The destroyed Dalek (to make it look accurate to the episode) would have likely required an entire new tooling, which for budgetary reasons wouldn’t have likely been feasible

I agree with you I don't really care about the inadequacy of the coat I care more about the perfect head sculpt on the figure and when I see the picture, it is uncanny 😃👍.

The Resurrection set is shown on Al Deware's video, but not mentioned, also see two Imperials and a 5" scale Dalek shuttle.

The Imperials are likely to be a future release, simply because that’s fairly obvious for the range. The shuttle craft I believe was a private commission of his own rather than any kind of future release.

Just seems hypocritical that Al said that he'd want to do Doctor and Master figures properly with the proper costume and everything, and then he goes and does this

I don’t really see how? Apart from the longer coat he’s pretty accurate, and in all fairness too there’s a big difference between making a variant of a Doctor who has existing figures to work from and making entirely new characters never done before

@@CaptainJimiPie it wouldn't be so bad if I had faith they'd re release the figure later on with the proper coat, but knowing how CO operate it'll probably be a one off release

I would imagine it’s very much a one-off, but if their budget does increase in future it’s possible it could get an updated release somewhere down the line
