Great review! My favourite line has to be the one regarding 'accusations against a company of racism because your not getting the toys you want!' Beautifully put. It sounds so obsurd that i hope anyone thats implying that are ashamed and utterly embarrased! Appauling behaviour.

Excellent review of an excellent set. Nice how you highlighted the unreasonable attitude of the small but very vocal minority of fans and collectors , angry about something all of the time. The voice of reason review. 👍.

Definitely didn't disappoint, personally I'm not the person to notice the differences between Tardis variants, so to me it's just a fun bonus to an outstanding figure

I totally agree with you about people saying that co is racism what in my opinion is just stupid because character options made black character from the past and present like a mickey smith, Martha Jones, Bill Pott, Yaz And in the future we will be getting a ncuti gatwa 15th doctor figure so my point is that you are totally right and people really need to rethink about what they say before continuing the comment 😃👍.

Exactly, it's just a silly thing to say just because people aren't getting the toys they want. And the fact that said people have now gone quiet on that very issue speaks volumes about the kinds of people they are!

A lot of toy companies are going back to clear fronted boxes as you can get a recyclable clear plastic. I love the Fugitive Doctor set and a Yeti and Ainley Master in his proper outfit are looking more promising Also the main part of the body is from the Donna Noble.

Genuinely the only criticism I have from this whole set is I wish that the police box signage was done with yellow text instead of white, given that reveal scene was such an integral part of the story it would’ve been nice for it to be accurate to the scene

It would have been nice to see but I think to REALLY get the right effect on something like that you'd need it to light up, and using the existing signage decals without changing them would have been easier.

As Al said he wants to make these figures and do them justice so do you reckon in the future they could use the time of the Doctor 11th Doctor figure as a base for the Sacha Master as this fugitive figure used the Donna noble body as a base

I can't agree on your electronics point. They have used the same Tardis electronics housings and fittings for years since 2005, so I cannot fathom why the cost would be too much to reuse electronic components that have already been developed and used.

But this is the very point I was making in the video, just because they've done something in the past it doesn't mean it still costs the same to do it today. They don't have a huge stockpile of electronic components to be used as and when, these things have to be made individually (probably by hand), for each set, and as some who works in the electronics industry, I can tell you for a fact that costs both materials and labour have risen drastically over the last few years.

Disagree with your electronic point. No reason they couldn't put electronics in the Tardis and charged us £50 for it. Yes people will moan but people always moan

Whilst I take your point, and don't disagree with it in principal, unfortunately it doesn't work that way. If there's no budget to make the electronics for a particular set then, whilst it might seem simple to "just make them" and hope they recoup it back by charging more, that's not good business sense because it's not a guaranteed return on their original production costs.

Frankly I can't understand the complaint. How many electronic tardises does one collector actually need? I havent had batteries in mine for years. If this was Ncuti I'd expect it, but for this set I think it's perfectly fine to omit them.
